Chapter 2

I suddenly woke up to my familiar ring intone....

Who the hell is calling me early in the morning.....?

I lazily grabbed my phone and answered the call.

'Hello' I muttered sleepily still keeping my eyes shut.

'Hello sweety' my mom sang through the phone.

'Mom..... Why are you calling me?' I asked.

'Are you still sleeping dear? I thought you have school today 'My mom said.

'Hmm' I replied.

'I called you to say that we'll come back home by this afternoon. Sorry for not coming back yesterday. We had some business stuff to settle' mom said.......

Wait!!! Mom didn't come yesterday, and wait, what's the time now??? 

'Ok, bye mom ' I ended the call.

I half opened my eyes and rubbed my palms against it to get rid of the blurry vision.

I suddenly sat on the bed, seeing a person on my couch (in the room).

'omg heaven who is this ?' I blinked a few times as that person got up with a sheet half covered his upper torso.

His Perfectly toned Abs came into view as the blanket fell off to the floor.

'.who the hell...' I thought.

'Hey Zen!! You are up 'I heard a low growling voice.

'wait is this..'I thought.

I shifted back as the person came closer. I felt heat rushing into my cheeks ....

'Oh god Are u ok? Your face is really red' I heard that person muttering as he sat on my bed reaching to touch my cheeks.

At that moment I accidentally made eye contact with him.

'wait ! Is this....'

'Zenuu~~' He rang closer to my face.

'ALEX!!!' I shouted.

'Yes!! What??' He said as laughing and still reaching his palm to touch my cheeks.

Just then he stopped in the track eyeing the clock above my bed head.

'For god's sake, it's 7.50 Zen!! Let's go, we are late'. Alex got up starling me.

'Ah, that moment is over like that, what the hell dear god' I thought 'what the hell am i thinking' 

'Oh, and good morning' he said, snapping me out of my thoughts...

'Good morning Alex' I muttered lazily drifting off to sleep...

'Don't sleep again!!!' Alex said shaking me....

'Hmm.......ok.....' I mumbled back.

'Zen!!! Get up we are late' Alex said, throwing a pillow at me.

'Ok....!!!' I replied frustrated.

'I'm going to take a shower!!!' Alex said rushing into the bathroom.

'Wait, I'll go to the bathroom, I-....' I shouted, getting off of the bed only to get cut off by a sudden headache.

I sat on the bed and closed my eyes to get rid of it. This is really killing me.

I took some pain killers and plugged my phone into the charger.

Alex came out of the bathroom wearing the same clothes as yesterday because I don't have his clothes with me (of course).

I stood up, eyeing him up and down.

'What' He asked.

'Alex, tell me, what happened last night' I asked eyeing him suspiciously.

'Yesterday? Nothing special. We just came home and that's it' he answered casually.

'That's it? Are you sure? I can't remember anything after coming home!! Alex~' I whined at his don't care expression.

'What? Seriously nothing happened. And Zen go, hurry up it's 8 am already' Alex said.

'Oh!!, then should we.......' I started.

'Nope. We should go to school today. You are skipping too many classes recently' He said eyeing his phone.

'Oh my gosh Alex... seriously, what happened? You are telling me to attend classes. I might have a serious heart attack at this rate' I stated.

'Shut up and get ready soon' Alex said strictly as giving me a Now or never look.

I quickly went to the bathroom and got dressed up with some casual black baggy hoodie and a denim shorts. I tied my hair into a ponytail getting some casual black and white sneakers. I took my phone and the backpack and was in the living room already, where Alex was on his phone looking through his Instagram.

Just then I remembered about the Xander's incident yesterday.

Oh my gosh no!! I can't go to school looking like this!!!

'Oh!! Ok, you are ready right!! Let's go' Alex said, getting up.

'No, no wait, I'll come in a few minutes. I gotta change this' I shouted, running to my room.

'Zenara!!!!! It's 8.15 already' I heard Alex shouting back at me. 

You can't look like you tried too hard.....Just go for an everyday look!!! My inner goddess advised me threateningly.

Finally, I found a pair of white shorts and an off shoulder pink and peach crop top. I wore it paired with my white and pink Nike air max. I loosened my hair, brushing it into a perfect curl. And I quickly put on some simple makeup to look glam.

It was already 8.45 am......

I took my white Gucci mini backpack and hurried to my doors.

And as expected Alex wasn't there on the sofa.

So I ran to the main door. 'Little miss, get your breakfast and go' our housemaid said rushing towards me.

'No need. Thanks!!' I swung open the door and ran outside.

For god's sake the Alex's Black tesla was parked outside waiting for me. I ran to the car and got in.

Alex looked at me in an awe. 'Did u just went to change your outfit? 'He asked while laughing.

'Why, what's wrong?' I asked titling my head a little.

'I think black outfit is better' He said.

'Are you kidding me? 'I asked, raising an eyebrow.

'It's just you look too shiny like that' he said laughing.

'Shiny? The heck? Don't you have any other words to use? 'I asked, pouting.

'Whatever, I think I'll have to kill lots of people today' He said sighing and smiling a little.

'What?' I asked as I couldn't hear what he said.

'Nothing we are late ' He said and with that we set off to school.
