           I sighed impatiently waiting for a taxi to pick me up from work. I looked at my older samsung phone to check the time before looking around me, the beautiful blue sky in the spring was a sight to stare at and the birds were chirping loudly. This would be the second time I was late to a birthday party, last time it was my dad's birthday party and this year it was going to be me being late again. I didn't want to be late to my own birthday party this year, even though I knew my parents would be ok if I was late. I looked around the kitchen and saw she had made my favorite steak dinner with steak marinade on the steak with cheesy mashed potatoes, and some green beans that smelled divine.
