My wife had a lot of miscarriage before she finally give birth to Kathie.She went through a lot while giving birth to Kathie, after kathie's birth her womb became weak to carry another child so we decided to put an end to child bearing because I can't bear to lose my wife. I love Kathie so much and would do anything for her happiness.Am not getting any younger.. Kathie needs to get married. And I don't trust anyone.. if I had over the properties to her I want her to get married to someone I know, and whom I can trust Kathie with without any fear of her getting hurt.I don't want someone who will want to marry her because of her wealth. Some men out there cannot be trusted and can be deceptive. Kathie is the apple of my eyes.
I turned to my wife who was sitting beside me.
" Darling, Kathie is a now a matured young lady" I told her." Of course, a pretty one at that" she said smiling." Kathie is our only child and the heir to all our properties, don't you think it is time she get married?? I asked." Well you are right but she hasn't said anything about marriage, when she is ready she will bring her man" she said." I know but people can't be trusted especially men" i said." So what are you saying??" Kathie is the heir to all our properties, some men may want to marry her because of her wealth and I would not want anything bad to happen to my child" I told her." Well you are right" she said nodding her head." I want someone whom I know, someone I can trust to marry her" i said."So who are you suggesting?? She asked." Well for now, I don't know but I will need sometime to get someone for her, because her happiness is my priority" I said." Whatever you decide am with you my dear" she said pecking my cheek.I smiled. I just finished speaking with Daniel, he will always listen to me He is becoming arrogant these days I wonder what is wrong with him. My husband has told me everything, even I want Daniel to get married. He doesn't want to hear the word marriage. Once he gets here I will talk to him on marriage.I sat down beside my husband.
" If Daniel refuse to get married on his own I will get him married myself" he said." Whatever your decision is, am in supportive of it" i said." But I need a responsible woman , who won't be enticed by money and will always be their for him because I think his fear is getting married to a golddigger" he said." Well with time we will get someone for him" i assured him" Besides I received a call from Williams he wants us to come over for dinner at his place" he said." Woah" i exclaimed." Well we will surely be there, it's been long we visit them and Kathie would have become a beautiful young lady" I said. He smiled" of course" he said.At the mention of kathie's name.
An idea popped into my mind." Darling I want to discuss something with you" I said." Okay go ahead"" Am idea just came into my mind so I decided to share it with you"" Okay am listening" he said." Why don't we get Daniel married to Kathie" i said hoping he will agree.He was surprised. " What do you mean?? He asked." What I mean is, Williams family are like our family, we know a lot about each other, we have been together for over so many years, we know and also love Kathie like our child, she is a very well trained girl, beautiful, matured, smart, hardworking and intelligent, she is going to be the best wife for our son" i explained. " Woah" he exclaimed." Well it is a great idea, I will also like Kathie for Daniel" he said smiling . He stopped smiling and said" we have to discuss it with the Williams family but what if they don't agree??" What are you trying to say? I asked him.
" Well by now Kathie might have someone she love and plan on getting married to him" he said."Well that is true though" i said reasoning with what he said, Donald is actually right.
"Well don't conclude yet, let's discuss with kathie's parents first" I said.
" What if they disagree or if Kathie disagree, I don't want anything to ruin our friendship" he said worriedly.
" Come on husby, think positively and positive things will happen" i assured him.
