I got into my parents house, parked my car then went inside.I met the two of them sitted together probably discussing. " Good day, mum, dad" I greeted them.Mum stood up coming towards me.She hugged me" how are you doing son" she asked smiling." Am fine mum" i answered smiling.She pinched my check" you are getting more handsome each and everyday" she said. I laughed" thank you mum.We got to where dad is.
" Good day dad" I greeted him" How are you doing today?? He asked." Am fine dad" I replied.I sat down with my mum." I guess if your mum didn't call you here, you won't bother coming" he said." Dad you know am always busy" I said." Busy sleeping around with ladies" he said." Dad.." I groaned." Donald" mum said." Daniel, I understand you are very busy but you shouldn't be too busy to come check up on your parents expecially me" she said." Am sorry mum" i apologised." It's okay" she said." So mum you said you want to see me" i said." Danny" she called.She only call me Danny whenever she need something from me. "Am not getting any younger, I need my grandchildren so when are you getting married? She asked. Like I know what she wants to say." Mum can we not talk about that now? I asked."Get yourself prepared, anyday from now we will be going for dinner at my friend's house, Williams" he said." Dinner? At the Williams place?? I asked." Well they invited us , we need to be there" mum said. Mr Williams is dad best friend, they have been friends for long. They have a daughter I think her name is Kathie she is really pretty. She doesn't like me even I don't like her.We don't get along at all.. we can't stay together without fighting or shouting at each other when we were Young. I hate it when my parents take me along with them to visit the Williams.But Mr Williams and his wife are nice and friendly.They act like a parent to me. Now we are all going there and I will have to see her disgusting face.It's been years we saw each other." Well mum, dad, count me out, am not going along with you" I said." What? I Know you won't dare" Dad said." Am not coming along with you" i said." Am tired of this conversation am going up to my room" i added. I was about standing up when Dad said" If you move an inch from there, and still decide not to come along with us, I will stop you from Working in my company not only that I will make sure you don't get employ in any company in this country and I will freeze your account, you won't receive any money neither will you spend any money and believe me you won't like that" he said sternly. Mum gasped.I was shocked and scared but covered it up." I don't care" I said going up to my room.🍭 Kathie POV 🍭
" Princess" I heard dad calling me." Yes dad" I answered going out of my room.I got down to where dad is, I met only him.
" Where is mum? I asked." She said she has somethings to do in the room" he said." Okay, dad you sent for me" I said.I sat down beside him." I want to discuss something with you princess" he said." Okay dad, am listening" i said smiling." Princess, you know you are my only child and I always want the best for you" he said." Of course dad and you are the best dad in the world" i said smiling." Princess I want you to get married, am not getting any younger and you will have to start handling the companies, you need a man by your side" he said." Dad, i know and I will surely get married so don't worry yourself" i assured him." Okay princess, I want a responsible man for you whom I can trust and can rely on" he said." Dad I will get back to you and bring a responsible man for you and trust me dad you will love him" i said smiling." I trust you and I love you" he said smiling." I love you too Dad" I said hugging him with smile on my face.I think it is high time I discuss with John. He should have propose to me by now. I don't know what is keeping him.🍭 Daniel POV 🍭
I got into my room, well I still have a room in my parents house.Is dad threatening me?
How can he threaten with that?
First if I don't get married, he won't handover his companies to me.
And now, if I don't go to Mr Williams place for dinner, he will sack me not only that I won't be able to get another job and he will freeze my account.
What kind of dad is this, I sighed.
Dad is well connected, he has lot of connection and am sure all what he said he is damn serious about it.
I just don't want to get married and I don't want to go to dinner with them to Mr Williams place.
I don't like their daughter.
I sighed angrily.
