I woke up the next morning feeling a bit tired.I did my normal routine, got down for breakfast.I met mum and dad sitted at the dinner." Good morning mum" i greeted pecking her cheek.
" Good morning dear" she answered with a smile.I went over to dad." Good morning Dad" I said pecking his cheek too." Good morning princess, how was your night? He asked." Fine dad, thank you" I said.I sat down, my food was served.
I ate silently and slowly.I just don't know what is wrong with me, I just have that feeling that something is wrong somewhere but I can't tell. I noticed mum and dad giving each other eyes signal." Princess what happen? You look a bit dull and quiet today" he said.
" Am fine dad"" Kathie you are not fine, this is unusual if you, you are even eating slowly, don't you like the food? Mum asked." Mum I said am fine and for the food it is okay" i said. I couldn't finish the food I just don't have the appetite. I stood up" Mum Dad I will be in my room" i said going up to my room.🍭 Daniel POV 🍭
The next morning, I got up ,freshen up, got dress.I got down met mum dishing out food for dad.I smiled.It's been long I ate her food.I have no one to cook for me at home all I do is ordering foods." Good morning mum" I greeted with a smile.
" Good morning son" how was your night? She asked." It was fine mum"" Good morning Dad" i greeted him." Good morning" he answered.I sat down, she dished out my food.
I smiled." Son why are you smiling? She asked." Or are you thinking about Kathie? She asked teasingly .Dad smiled." Come on mum, for the fact that am smiling doesn't mean am thinking about Kathie" I said." So why are you smiling? She asked." It is because of the food, it's been long I ate it so am just happy to be here again" I said." Okay, quickly eat your food" she said sitting down.I started eating.
We finished eating, the maid cleared the table.. we sat down at the sitting room.
Since today is weekend I have no where to go to.Mum and dad were looking at each other then at me.
I wonder what is wrong.
" Son your dad and I wants to speak to you" mum finally spoke up.
" Okay" i said paying rapt attention to them." Son you don't need to bother yourself looking for a wife" dad said." What! I exclaimed happily.Finally he won't disturb me about getting married.Am just happy with this news." Thank you Dad" i said smiling.
"Hmmmm.. you are welcome" he said." So dad what made you change your mind" I asked eagerly.
" Well that is because we have gotten a wife for you to marry I have arranged your marriage, since you don't want to get married" he said." What " I shouted." Mum is it true" I asked impatiently because she has been quiet since." Yes my son, it is for your own happiness* she said.
I scoffed angrily " my own happiness?? By getting me married to someone??
" I can't believe you guys went up to the extent of arranging my marriage without my approval" I yelled angrily." Young man keep quiet, you are not ready so I will get you married myself" dad said angrily." Dad, mum am not getting married" I said standing up." Danny, you will have to get marry, you will surely like her" mum said." Am not getting married to anyone" I yelled walking away angrily." Daniel come back here, don't you dare walk out on me" dad yelled.I ignored him.I think I have to go back home today.I woke up with a smile and now such a bad news.Mum and dad are unbelievable.
