I just finished speaking to John on the phone.I heard a knock on the door." Come in" i said. Mum and Dad came in. Am surprised to see them because they rarely enter my room. I sat up.The both of them sat down beside me.I was in their middle.Mum held my shoulder.
I looked her at." Kathie, you know I love you and you have always been the best daughter to me, you are one in a million.. you make me happy and proud and also I want you to be happy" she said." I know mum and I love you too" I said with a little smile.She sighed." Kathie I want you to get married" she said.I looked at dad then her.
" I and dad has discuss on this and I told him I will get back to him soon. I already have a man in my life whom I want to spend the rest of my life with so you don't need to worry I will bring him soon " I said." I know Kathie, at this stage of your Life we don't expect you not to have a boyfriend but people can't be trusted expecially men, even who are you dating, how sure are you that he loves you as much as you love him" mum said.I think she is driving her somewhere.
" Mum I Know him, I love him and he loves me too" I said.
" Kathie, you are the only heir to our properties .. some men might want to decieve you because of your wealth and we don't want you to get hurt so we have agreed on something" dad said.

I gasped." What?? I asked slowly.Mum stood up.I held her hands." Mum please talk to Daddy I want to marry only John not any stranger" I said in tears." Kathie it is for your happiness and besides he is not a stranger" mum said.I cleaned my tears.

I was packing my little clothes, ready to leave this house.My door opened, mum came in." Danny, this is for you..
