Exes and Why's

We’re home now. She immediately turned on the television so that I won’t ask her. She’s smart. She knows what I was doing the whole time we’re in the car. She’s lying at the couch like she’s about to sleep so, I pulled her leg and put it down so that I could sit on it. She stood up and blocked me from watching television. She’s annoying me huh? I blow on her ears and she go back to the couch. The whole day was just enough to talk about the things we ‘ve done. There’s a lot.

“Are you hurt?”

“Here. It hurts right here.” I pointed to my heart.

“You look fine”

I act like I was hurt, lying on the floor. She took an ointment and she approached me. She tied her hair in a bun.

“Take your clothes off” She demanded.

I put my arms to my chest like I was being harassed.

“No, please… I’m not yet ready”

She took my shirt and force to take it off.

“If you’re being like this, I won’t be able to control myself, you know what I mean?”

She stopped and crossed her arms.

“The contract”

I obeyed her like a cat, taking my clothes off. She poured a lot amount of ointment at my back that it feels like a tingling sensation.

“Hey! Did you pour the whole bottle on my back? It hurts!”

I was doing it in purpose so that she will pity me and tell me who’s the guy but she seems to enjoy watching me in pain. She’s laughing at me from behind. I can feel it even if I can’t see it. I can see that she’s a little bit psycho but she’s completely normal.

Nothing seems to work with her.

She fell asleep on the couch while watching television and I turned it off. To be a human is such a hassle. You need to sleep. I wonder If that’s one of the reasons why she wants to be a vampire. I was just kidding.

Tomorrow at School, I’m going to ask her again and again until she tells me who the guy is.

“I heard that there’s a transferee again.” I overheard Belle said to Kate.

“Wow! I wasn’t the only transferee” Kate said, excitingly.

“Students, please. Take your seats. You heard right. There’s a transferee student in Hamilton. Or you can say, a former student. Please come in and greet them.”

“Hi classmates. It’s me again, Layla Hilton in Hamilton, you all.” She came in, smiling wearing jeans and bomber jacket.

I can’t believe my eyes. Why did she suddenly transfer? Only two more years and she will graduate at Hughes University. Hughes is also a vampire University that is owned by Hughes family. Unlike Hamilton, Hughes was known as a University who doesn’t promote anti-bullying campaigns. That’s also one of those University I fought Taekwondo and won first. I just don’t like the person whom I encountered there. He’s cocky.

Although I still like her, I shouldn’t act like I do. I have announced publicly that Kate’s my new girlfriend now. Were just exes now and I have a lot of “why’s” with our previous relationship, how it turned out. I have to find out the reason why she returned.

I was at the front of our corridor when she showed up, standing on her tippy toes.

“Hey, Kite. How are you?”

Why are you asking like you care?

“I’m good”

“I’m good too.”

“I didn’t ask.”

She pouted.

“Don’t be like this. I saw that you changed your bio.”

“Oh yeah, I’m with Kate now.”

“Who is she? I want to know her. Better.”

“Why did you suddenly transfer?”

“My Parents finally gave me permission to spend my two years here at Hamilton. Why is it that it’s like you still hate me? You didn’t greet me. What happened two years ago, we should get over it. I know that our Parents are pretty much against our relationship. Look at us now? You become top first at Hamilton, and I become on top of all vampire girl’s reputation in Brooklyn. I’m happy with your new status. Best of luck!” She patted by shoulder.

“Of course, I moved on. I’m dating Kate now. I had to ask you back. Have you already moved on? You’re not dating anyone. I checked on social media.”

“Do I have to date anyone to publicly announce that I’ve moved-on?”

“No, you’re probably playing jar of hearts. I know you and your history of relationships.”

“That’s why you become like me? Before Kate, you didn’t take anyone seriously. You always like to make out with one-night stand.”

She leaned closer to me.

“If you’re free tonight, why not?”

She touched my collar.

“Like I said, I’m with Kate now. She’s the only one I like to do.”

“Okay. Not tonight. Maybe some other time. If you need a friend, just call me.”

She knows I lied. I really miss doing her, how she moves, how she kiss, how wonderful she feels. She’s my first. She’s incomparable with those I did after we broke up. I need to make-out. Just by having Kate in one room is difficult for my desires. Unless she would like to do me a favor but she’s not like that. She must be a saint, no, I haven’t gotten to know her yet. What if she had an ex? And her ex was threatening her? But It’s too blunt for me to ask if she’s already done it. But how do I know if she really does have a boyfriend before if I don’t ask?

“Kite? So?”

Layla wakes me up.

“What?! No way, I’m not a cheater like you. Bye”

But I really have to admit that I have my needs. It’s been a week since the last time I did it. I feel weak. This is all Kate’s fault.

The class was already done and we both go to the mall to buy some noodles for her. We wore mask and we changed clothes to hide from sneaky ass paparazzi.

“How did you even manage to eat food while at school?”

“I didn’t eat. I had only breakfast and dinner”

“You sleep walk and eat during midnight”

“I did that?”

“Yeah. You scared the hell out of me last night. You suddenly stood up and I called your name twice but didn’t listen, walking like a zombie, eyes closed.”

“Then?”

“You head to the fridge took the bread and yoghurt and ate it. You’re stubborn. You want to drink my blood wine and kept on tugging me. Thanks to you, one of them is broken. You’re such a talented person, Kate.”

I clapped my hands, sarcastically.

“I broke it?”

“Yeah”

I brush my hair.

“Or it slipped from your hands?”

“No, no, no. Actually, you took it from me and it slipped from your hands.”

“I did that?”

She can’t believe she did that.

“Sorry” She said, almost lifeless.

“What was that Kate? I can’t hear you?”

“Sorry” She said now, clearly.

“I’ll buy you one after this.”

The sales lady swiped my card.

“It’s two hundred dollars.”

“What? Let me check again.” I can’t believe.

“Two hundred?! Fuck! That’s too much, Kate. What did you buy?”

“A lot. This is for a month’s consumption.”

I stared at her viciously.

“I’ll pay you when we got home.”

“No, it’s on me. Do me a favor and keep your stuffs away from me. Buy a new fridge, okay? What if you actually drank my stuff? That’s pretty nasty for a human like you.”

“I don’t mind”

She’s stubborn.

“You can’t fix this by yourself, okay? You need my help. Just be honest with me.”

I meant that she should tell me who the guy was.

“Not saying”

“Then, buy a new fridge. How was that? I can’t believe how hard it is to get some information from you, you know? I was working hard. I can’t quit now.”

“Then don’t. I like seeing you suffer.” She said, smiling.

“What have I done to you?”

She bought a new fridge. It’s fancy, color pink. It takes a lot of space and much bigger than mine. She’s very organized. A lot of human foods were inside, arranged from top to the bottom. She really likes ramen and sushi. I remember when Mom was cooking ramen for me.

“If you become a vampire, you won’t be able to eat all that. You will put all of that in a garbage.”

“No, I’ll give them to the less fortunate.”

I want to have my lonesome time that’s why I asked her a very uncomfortable question.

“Is it okay with you if I bring a girl in my room? I am a guy, of course, I have my needs?”

She was silenced.

“Did you bring a lot of girls here before?”

“Yes.”

No need to lie there, Kite. You know that they can’t resist your manhood.

“No. You can’t.”

“Why? You can’t have sex with me. It’s against the rules… and… Don’t tell me to do it by myself because that’s so gross.”  

“My father probably hired spies for us both. If you cheat on me, he’ll kill you”

“What?! How can I release this tension? I can’t sleep, I’m a vampire. I could do that all night but, now…”

I unzipped my pants and removed it.

“What are you doing?”

“You told me to do it by myself. That’s what I’m going to do. You leave me no choice.”

“Don’t”

She changes her mind quickly. She’s indecisive.

“I’ll help you”

She kissed my body and down below. She sucks it while pulling it. She’s looking at me and I was quite turned on with what she does. I fixed her hair and put it up. She’s doing good. When she stood up, I grab her by her waist and start kissing her gently on her lips. She’s pulling my hair violently and I was taking a liking to it. We continued kissing in bed, naked. I was about to go down below but she sat and fixed herself. She’s such a tease. I hug her from behind.

“This is my first”

I was just shocked when she told me that I was her first. A lot of girls I did was experienced and this was her first?

It was an awkward silence.

“Let’s not do this again.” She said 

She removed my arms from her waist.

Tomorrow, I expect that we won’t be talking in class.

It’s actually recess now and I got to be with Jack

“You what?”

“No one could resist the power of Kite Hamilton” Jack was laughing while playing on the field, running

“When’s the wedding date? I want to be the groom’s best man” He told me.

I gently punch him on his shoulder.

“Don’t take it seriously, It’s only a play date.”

“Whatever dude. Why are you talking to me about last night if it wasn’t anything? There must be something”

“I was confused about how I feel.”

I just don’t know why I was like this, like it was such a big deal. I crossed my arms and look at Jack, running.

“I wasn’t falling in love with a human. Not a chance”

“You will. Let’s bet on it” Said Jack.

“Okay. What will you bet on it?” I asked.

“You know, If I win, you will do what I will say for a week”

“That was slavery. Just one day.”

“Fine.” He said, pouting.

“If I win, you’ll have to date Belle”

“Impossible” Jack told me, laughing.
