She’s just staring at me while eating rice meal with chicken. She’s a real human indeed. I was doing my homework in biology while checking everyone else if they did the homework which I assigned to them in literature. She wasn’t informed about the presentation tomorrow so, I told her about it. I taught her that I even faked my story in front of the class to make her feel at ease. She passed me her homework in advance and I had to admit when I saw her writing, I was impressed. She’s good. I leaned at her and she gave me an awkward look. I said to her that the first girl to pass the assignment without a grammar error will be the only one except to report in class. The girl will also have a chance to kiss me on my cheek so, I leaned more closer to her, expecting her to kiss me. She’s expressionless. I pointed on my cheek telling her that I’m waiting.

“Is this my price or your price?” She asked.

I was grinning. She’s something else.

“Of course, it’s yours. Why would I die for a peck on a cheek?” I asked her back

“It seems like you want it” She said

I hold her chair and glide it closer to me. She’s still expressionless. She’s stone cold.

“If girls are in your position, they would’ve panic and have a heart attack”

I kissed her cheek.

“Why did you do that?” She asked.

She moves her chair away from me.

“I can’t force someone to do what they don’t like. But in return, I do what I want.” I said, smiling at her.

“You’re cruel” She said, brushing her cheeks continuously.

It was pass midnight but we’re both awake. She’s sleepy but she’s fighting it. If this apartment gives an award to the cleanest room, we’d definitely be awarded. She had her things arranged at her bed room and she even change the look of my living room. Even the decorations were changed. When I checked her finished work, I was not pleased. This is like living in a girl’s dormitory. I asked myself if this is where I live for two years. All her scent was all over the place that I need to wear face mask. I can’t with her.

“You can’t believe what happened, men” I told Jake

“What happened?” He asked

I was hesitant to tell him the truth about Kate so, I told him a tiny bit of the truth.

“I had a new girlfriend. It’s official. Me and Kate were dating. It started last night” I said.

He was smiling at me, asking me if it’s real over and over. If he’s not my friend, I would’ve punch him.

“But how?” He asked.

“Long story” I said.

Yes, a pretty long, boring story. I had a girlfriend but no sex allowed? Who would want that? I’m not happy.

Pretty much everything is alright until…

“Hey guys, Kite Hamilton is officially in a relationship with Kate Lim!” Jake shouted for everyone to know.

I can hear buzzing sound from a lot of girls. A lot of guys are approaching me, asking me what happened to the both of us last night. I was the hottest in Hamilton, ok? I have been known for my charisma in bed but nothing happened last night. They were very eager to know. Right on time, Kate was walking by the corridor. I hope that their green questions won’t make her feel awkward. I also have pride and dignity so, might as well fake it. Could this get any worse?

“What happened? She liked it” I said.

A lot of guys were screaming, they were overpowered with their lustful thoughts.

A lot of girls are asking Kate if it’s true. I look at her in the eye. Fake it, Kate. Fake it.

“Yes” She said, face downwards.

This is getting awkward.

Belle entered the room.

“Am I the only one who doesn’t know about the tea? Oh my! Kate! Bestie” Belle hugged Kate.

“Yeah, you’re pretty much late for the tea, we’re done partying. Go, shoo” Jack pushed Belle on the side making the hug lose.

The crowd laughs.

“It’s not funny, clown” Belle whispered to Jack’s ears

“When did I become your clown? You don’t own me. If you don’t find my jokes funny, then leave” Jack said, winking at Belle.

“Hey, that’s bullying” Kate butted in.

“Hey, you’re the new it-girl. Nice to meet you, I’m Jack Clinton. Kite’s BFF” He’s got her hand and placed it on Belle’s shoulder.

“Calm her down. She’ll be fine later.” Jack said. I nodded

“See you later, Beast. I’ll be waiting for your comeback” Jack told Belle.

“Beauty and the Beast. Wait. Belle was supposed to be beauty. Arrgg” Belle was stomping violently.

“You called me clown. I should be the prince” Jack told her while going away with me.

I paced back and Kate was explaining to Belle his joke.

“He said, you should call him the ‘Joker’” Kate told her.

We both heard her and laugh.

I never wanted to be this blunt but I don’t have any choice because my classmates were asking.

Everything was fine in class. It’s my time to teach them and I hope that they did my assigned work to them. Professor Tim had high hopes from me-that I will teach them well. I wouldn’t be teacher’s pet if I hadn’t done good in class. Though I’m not the kind of person to brag my accomplishments, with my Parents, expect that they will brag from having my first wisdom tooth-to becoming a full pledge shiki with flying colors in Hamilton University. I felt a little good with myself when they do share to their friends my accomplishments but felt a little bad for their friends’ child. For sure when they got home, they will start asking their child why are they not like me who’s always on top and athletic. That must suck to hear if I’m on their shoes. All my life, I only live for my Parent’s approval. I never did anything crazy well, until this thing came. Can I just end up with someone I really love? As I’ve said, I never did anything crazy. Faking must not be a permanent fix but I had no choice. If I’m in your shoes, you will do the same. To please someone is really hard. It’s a first for me to actually do something crazy all my life. To make the perfect announcement, this has to be the moment.

“All of you had passed the assignment. I corrected some of your works. Only one passed it in advanced without any mistake and I except her to report in front.”

She looks at me. She knew what I’m doing.

“Who’s the lucky girl, Sir?” Belle asked me.

“Why are you curious? Of course, it’s not you.” Jack said, teasing Belle.

Belle touch Jack’s hand making him shout in pain. She burnt his hand.

“That hurts, fiery beast!” Jack exclaimed.

“Sorry, not sorry, Joker” Belle smirks at Jack.

I cough so that all of them listens to my announcement.

“It’s my new girlfriend, Kate Lim” I announced.

Here we go again. All of them paced on her direction. The girls are loud, asking her again if it’s true.

“I repeat that she’s my girlfriend now. No need to ask her.”

“Did she kiss you on the cheek?” One of my classmates asked.

“Well, she doesn’t want it that way” I said, staring at her.

“I kissed her instead.” I said.

She was just staring at me. I can see that she’s very silent but it’s not ok to be silent at this time. This has to be more convincing. So, I had to think fast how to make it more convincing.

“Babe, tell them something” I hope that Kate would cooperate.

“We fell in love at first sight” Kate explained to everyone.

“Impossible” Next said, playing with his pen.

Class dismissed. The reporting went well. I just had the feeling that Next was mocking me the entire time of my class, smirking at me. That made me feel unease. I adjust my collar a couple times. What if he knows? I know one thing that kids with uncontented Parents do with the kid that they’re being compared to. They will do anything to destroy that kids’ reputation. My sorry ass could relate. I can predict that in one glimpse. Who is Next Grande before?
