His and her circumstances

I wasn’t thinking. Why did I have oral sex with him? But at least I’m not going to get pregnant. I was as pink as my fridge when it was all finished. My expectation with him exceeded. He was the hottest. I put my pillow to my face and started screaming. I wasn’t thinking, I wasn’t thinking! What if he did it again and we did more?

“Ms. Kate, please read page 79, first sentence.” Professor Tim said.

“Hey, girl! Get yourself together. Professor Tim told you to read for the third time.” Belle whispered at me from behind.

I read page 79

Before reading it out loud, I read it first. I can’t read this out loud. This is embarrassing.

“Clitoris was female’s blind spot”

“You may sit, Ms. Lim. Yes. Correct. Man do the impossible by making their partner arouse and climax during sex with the help of clitoris.” Professor Tim said.

Kite was looking at me with those hazel eyes.

“Professor Tim was great at explaining. I learned a lot. Is there a problem, Kate? You’re acting strange.” Belle asked me.

“No, uh… It’s just that…”

I ended up telling her what happened to us last night.

“Why didn’t you let him in?” Belle asked with matching hand gestures.

“I was scared.” I Said.

We just laugh.

“Can I speak with her for a moment?” A lady in red pointed at me. It’s Layla Hilton.

“Hi, Layla… Okay, I’ll let you both talk to each other. Meet me at the field later, Kate. Hugs and kisses.” Belle left me with Layla.

“Hi…” I said to her, shyly

“I wasn’t here to be friends with you. I transferred here to take my Kite back.” She said, with confidence.

“We’re in a relationship now”

“Unless you two will broke-up. I don’t care. I waited until I come back to Hamilton and be with him but you ruined my plan. I broke up with him and transfer to Hughes because my father threatened me that he will kill him if I didn’t do what he wants. We’re madly in-love and we promise that even if we had relationships, in the end, we’ll end up with each other.”

“How sure are you that he agrees on that?”

“I know him better than you”

“People change. He did change the past years without you.”

She opens her topper ware and pour the blood on my dress violently.

“I changed my mind. I won’t have lunch today. You made me sick.”

I was sulking wet with human blood and anytime now, all the students will rush to where I am. I can’t say anything to her. I don’t want to die yet. She had those long nails. After that, I heard noises from the ground. It’s like a lot of students running towards us. We’ve been circled by vampires with red eyes.

“We taught that there’s a human that’s why we came here.” Jack told me.

Kite was there and he hides me behind him.

“I accidentally bump into her and pour her my lunch. I’m sorry” Layla said, almost crying.

“This won’t happen again, Layla. Did you hear me?” Kite asked her with a powerful voice that echoed in the place.

One by one, the students go.

“Why are you so clumsy? Do you want all of them to eat you alive? Remember that you’re a real human, Kate. Ah, starting tomorrow, sit with us during lunch.”

“Me and Belle?” I asked.

“Yeah sure. I’m sure Jack won’t agree but I don’t care. Don’t get involved with Layla. She’s dangerous. Her skill was her long nails.”

I figured it out before he told me.

We suddenly heard a noise in the bushes.

“Who’s there?” Kite walks near the bushes

“It’s been a long time, Kate.”

That guy, I know that he’s watching over me ever since I got here.

“Zach Hughes?”

“You know him, Kite?”

He showed up.

“Of course. I’d like to have a rematch with you in taekwondo.”

“That’s why you trespass Hamilton?”

“No, I actually had a gate pass. Your father lets me visit someone.”

He looks at me and Kite looks at me. It’s pretty clear that he’s after me and Kite gets that. I hide behind him.

“I was the one who told her not to be a vampire or else, I will destroy Hamilton with my gang.”

“So, you’re the one?” Asked Kite.

“But why?”

“I’m in-love with her ever since. I mean, I like her but she doesn’t like me. I courted her since freshman year but I hadn’t gotten anything from her. No, not sex or even a kiss so, I threatened her.”

“I’m with Kite now, Zach” I bravely told him.

“How far could you both keep your secrets? Layla’s here now, Kite. Why are you pretending that you’re so over her? I know you want her but because of Kate, you can’t do anything. How unlucky you are. Kate only brings war everywhere she goes.”

“I’m still in-love with Layla. You’re right. But if Kate doesn’t like you, you can’t do anything for her to like you. Face it.”

“She obeys me. She will destroy your reputation and come back to me as I planned. Watch me.”

“Quit being cocky. It doesn’t suit you.” Kite said, balling his fist.

He vanished.

“Son of a vampire.” Kite’s red eyes turned to blue.  He brushes his hair, looking at me.

“We can’t do anything. He’s actually in-love with you. What did you do to him?”

“I don’t know. I was just being kind to him and suddenly, he asked me out. I told him the truth but he won’t accept it.”

“You didn’t tell your Dad?”

“Dad already set us up at that time and I don’t like to cause trouble so, I didn’t tell him.”

“Hughes family were gangsters. They’re dangerous. You should’ve known”

“What if we told our Dad?”

“There would be a war with both Universities. It’s not a bad idea but expect that a lot of vampires will die.”

“Oh, no. What shall we do?”

“I had to talk with Layla. He mentioned her. I think she’s here for a reason too.”

“I think she didn’t have anything to do with this. Don’t accuse her of that.”

I can’t believe he told in front of me that he still loves Layla. Can’t he just lie all the time? I felt a sudden ache in my heart when I heard what he said. Does this mean that I’m actually starting to feel something to him? I shook my head. Kate, if you start to feel something, your contract will end. This is not the time. Focus.

“You’re covered in blood. Clean yourself first.” Kite said, wiping my face.

We’re in front of my locker. Luckily, I always have an extra dress inside my locker in case accidents happen. I admit to myself that I was clumsy. I was always causing a mess in every University I’ve been. Zach’s right. I will only cause war in both Universities. I haven’t told Kite yet that I was previously studying at Hughes and I saw him beat Zack at the Taekwondo tournament last year. He’s an awesome fighter. Zach’s skill was invisibility but he manages to win the fight. I feel the chills down my spine while taking a bath. I feel like every time I go to the comfort room; he’s watching even if he’s not. He’s always watching me, everywhere I go when I was in Hughes. I was so paranoid that’s why I decided to transfer to Hamilton. I hate that he doesn’t know when to give up. I know that I can’t be able to exchange feelings with him. Even if I told him from time to time, he won’t listen and now, he shows up to warn Kite.

I finished cleaning myself and go back to class.

“Nice dress”

Someone whispered to my ears. It’s Layla.

I know that she wants to get back with Kite but it isn’t right to bully me. The next time she did this to me again, even if she has those long nails, I’m going to fight her.

The long hours of school made me forget about what happened today.

“So, he’s the guy?”

We’re in the elevator. He pressed the number 24. We’re in front of room 208.

“I’ll have to stay with Jack tonight. Guy time. You may invite Belle in your apartment. Don’t touch my things okay?”

He knocked at room 208.

“Hey! These two lovers.” Jack was always enthusiastic.

“Can I borrow your man for the night? I promise I will be gentle with him.” He’s asking me. Do I have a choice?  

I just nodded.

“Lock the door and if someone you don’t know was knocking, don’t open the door.” Kite whispered at me.

I was left alone in my room. I already invited Belle but she told me that I was better left alone to continue the unfinished business that we had last night. I told her that he’s with Jack tonight and that convinced her that she’ll come but later tonight. Suddenly, someone rang the doorbell.

“That must be Belle, she’s sly. Coming later tonight huh?” I said, imitating how she said those words.

“Delivery” I didn’t ordered something online. Must be Kite?

I opened the door for the man to get in.

He put the box inside. I thought that it’s paid but he approached me.

“He’s actually at room 208 now” I said

But he grabbed my wrist and drag me to my bed. He removed his cap.

“Zach?! How did you get in?”

“I’m invisible, remember? I missed you, Kate…

But I know you don’t”

She started kissing my neck and both his hands roaming around my belly. I felt like he’s biting my neck but gentler. I was pushing him but he’s stronger. I decided to scream. Please hear me out, Kite.

“Help! Kite!” I screamed.

Someone crashed the door.

“Kite!” I was relieved that he’s here now.

He saw us on my bed and he punched Zach twice. Zach swings his fist but Kite always gets away with it. Zach used his skill and disappear into thin air.

“Jack, now!” Kite screamed. I saw Jack in front of my bedroom door.

He used his skill and flood my room with snow but we didn’t saw him.

“He’s gone” Jack told us.

“Are you okay, Kate? I’m sorry. It was my fault. I should’ve not invited him over.” Jack was worried too.

“We need alone time. Please go back to your room. Sorry, I can’t stay in your room tonight, Jack.”

Jack left us.

“What happened?” I heard Belle.

“Why are you here, Belle?” Asked Jack.

I overheard Jack telling Belle to get lost but Belle insisted. Jack told her what happened and he closed the door. She just wasted her time going here. This is the first time I invited her. I felt so embarrassed.

“I need to take a bath.” I feel so dirty in front of Kite

I took a bath as I reminisce flashes of memories a moment ago. Zach was invading my property and claiming me that I’m his. I had to stop him with his plans.

My hair is dripping wet. I am wearing my PJ’s and casual shirt when I saw Kite waiting for me. He’s in front of the bathroom door.

“What did he do to you?” He asked me.

“He didn’t hurt me. Don’t you worry.” I said to him.

He starred at my neck.

“You had a hickey” He told me.

“Don’t tell me that, that’s okay with you?” He asked me.

I hugged him tight. No, it’s not okay but I’m trying to be okay with what happened minutes ago. He didn’t remove my hands but he told me something.

“I’m getting cramps.” He said

We both laugh.

“Sorry for asking you like I was your real boyfriend. I just don’t like to end the contract.” He denied.

“You’re just in time” I said to him.

I go to my bedroom and smiled at him. He’s done a good job tonight.  He pushed my bedroom door and hugged me tight.

“What are you doing? This is against the rules?” I asked him.

“You may change it if you want. You’re the one who did that contract, am I right?” He teased me.
