13. My wolf Caryi

A knock on my door woke me up. looking to the window showed it was still dark. The knock sounded again.

"Go away!"

I rolled over closing my eyes again as I heard the door open and close. Snapping my eyes open I started to yell out again when blue eyes shined in the dark.

I groaned I really didn't want to see him after what happened.

Sitting up I glared at him.

"What do you want Ki?"

He stepped closer.

"I just want to talk that's all."

"Can't it wait?"

He shook his head.

"No it can't. I refuse to leave it the way we did."

Moving to the end of the bed I sat on the edge as I sighed.

"There's nothing left to say Ki-"

Quickly he knelt before me as he grabbed my hands in his.

"But there is Rave I understand how you feel I know your scared I'm scared too. No one could know what the future holds this war could very well be the end of us all but that doesn't mean it should keep us apart. I don't know what I'd do if I ever lost you."

Here he touched my cheek as his thumb caressed my hand.

"If it should be me that dies I would rather die knowing I spent every second of my life with the mate that I love. And if you are left behind it's not because you weren't strong enough because you are strong and if I have to keep saying it til you believe it then that's what I'll do. Please don't let your fears of loosing me keep you from opening your heart. I love you Raven nothing else matters but the feelings i know we both have."

He stood up.

"Please just think about what I've said."

He started to leave but I jumped up wrapping my arms around him. I couldn't let him go he was right no matter what happened I'd rather enjoy the time we had together then regret it later.

"Don't go!"

He stopped and slowly turned around to face me I took in those blue eyes I could no longer hold back. He was my mate and no matter what I would stick by him.

"I love you Ki."

Before I knew it his lips were on mine I returned the kiss with a feverish passion as our tongues connected. He lifted me up as I wrapped my legs around him he carried me back to the bed. 

I ripped away his shirt just as he did the same to mine. One hand gripped my breast while the other went down my pants as he trust his fingers in I moaned against his lips. My own hand gripped his hardness as he growled his approval.

Taking a breath he pulled away his eyes aglow as he gazed down at me.

"I've wanted to do this for so long."

Much to my disapproval he removed his fingers as he pulled down my pants throwing them away. He stood up as he slowly finished removing his pants our eyes still locked.

Now both bare he lifted me further up the bed as he dipped his head taking my nipple in his mouth. His teeth grazed my skin making my back arch. His kisses continued down my body slowly til he reached my waiting core. His hands gripped my hips as his tongue moved. I moaned as my senses exploded.

My hand gripped Ki's hair while the other gripped the sheets. My breathing speed up as I neared my peak. Just as I was about to fall over the edge Ki pulled away and in the same movement he thrust into me. I cried out as his full length stretched me wide.

I didn't have to see that my eyes were glowing to know that they were. One look at Ki and I knew his were the same. My body matched his perfectly as we moved as one. His eyes stared into mine as falc connected to Caryi. In that moment as our bodies joined as one both of us falling over the edge I felt my Canines protruding for the first time in my life.

Ki's growl of release matched my own as I clung to him in that moment. My canines retracted back into my gums as Ki rolled to the side he leaned on his elbow gazing down at me a contented smile on his face.

"You shifted."

His look of a amazement did not reach me.

"Not completely."

I answered sadly as my hope that strengthening my bond with Ki would unlock my wolf disappeared.

He tucked a hair behind my ear, his hand remaining as his thumb traced my lips.

"It was enough Rave I felt Caryi she was so close."

"Not close enough I still can't hear her."

He pulled me into his arms as he stroked my hair.

"She's in there Rave and I know that now your opening your heart to Falc and I she will get stronger."

He lifted my chin up as he placed a kiss on my lips. 

"You will hear your wolf. Have faith in our bond you'll find Falc is very persistent."

I chuckled into his chest.

"Ki?"

"Hhmmm?"

"I'm sorry I took so long."

He took my lips in his in a deep kiss.

"I would've waited eternity if it meant I could be with you."

I sighed.

"I just hope you don't regret it."

He gazed into my eyes a serious look making him frown.

"Raven I will never regret being your mate. You are everything to me and I love everything about you. Don't ever think that you are not good enough for me because you are the only one for me."

He kissed my nose and settled in not even bothering to put clothes on.

"Sleep Rave if you want I'll train with you until Loki comes back."

 "How did you know I asked him to train me?"

"Because who wouldn't want to be trained by Loki he's the best bounty hunter ever known."

I snickered.

"Who would have thought Kianti, alpha of the blue moon pack idolising a bounty hunter."

He laughed making his chest rumble underneath me. The sound of his laughter made me smile how I held out this long was beyond me. My heart swelled to know this kind handsome wolf was mine.

"Night Ki."

He kissed my cheek.

"I love you Raven."

"I love you too."

He smiled.

"I'll never get sick of hearing you say those words."

My eyes closed almost on the verge of sleep I whispered.

"And I'll never get sick of saying them."

I drifted off to sleep feeling the happiest I'd felt in a long time.

A wolf howled in my dreams on instinct I howled back.

"Raven!"

Someone was calling my name.

"Who's there?"

A wolf shrouded in shadows approached from the distance. 

"Who are you?"

A voice in my mind laughed. 

"Do you really need to ask?"

Realisation dawned on me.

"Caryi?"

She chuckled and it was the most beautiful sound I'd ever heard.

"Is this real?"

The wolf began to circle me.

"As real as ever."

"How is this possible?"

"The bond Raven our mates call to us, falc calls to me just as Ki calls to you. They have allowed me to once again speak to you. For now it is only in your dreams when your mind is less active but as the bond between you and Ki grows as does the bonds between Falc and I."

"What do you mean once again?"

"Have you forgotten my Raven?"

She sighed.

"Yes perhaps you have i will show you."

An image of me as a child as I spoke to myself yet I wasn't I knew that she was showing me our first conversations.

"I have missed our talks being trapped in here for fifteen years has been my curse."

I held out my hand as she approached I embraced her. 

"Even though I don't remember deep down I always sensed your presence. It was you that spoke to me when the bounty hunter had me wasn't it?"

She nodded her wolffish shadow head.

"Yes the wolfsbane weakened the curse allowing me to temporarily talk to you."

My hands loved the feel of her soft fur.

"So does this mean I'll be able to talk to you every night when I sleep?"

Her voice saddened.

"While we are stronger when we are with our mate it does take a lot of my power to talk to you even in a dream. The curse your mother cast is strong and will not be easily broken."

"But the bond between us and Ki will eventually break you free will it not?"

"Raven I've come to you mainly to tell you not to get your hopes up. while our bond with our mate has weakened our curse. it may not completely set me free. While I do hold my own hope that we can be together again I do not want to see you hurt if it is not enough."

I sighed.

"I have lived most of my life without recourse to my powers even if all I get is the chance to talk to in my dreams then that's all I need."

I paused as I watched Caryi.

"Though it seems unfair to you to be trapped in here."

"Don't worry about me Raven my only regret is that I can not be there to help protect you when you need it."

She started to walk away as she faded her last words were a whisper.

"Thank you for finally excepting our mate never doubt his love for you nor our love for him."

I awake with a start waking Ki in the process.

"Rave?"

It was still dark out as I turned to Ki.

"Caryi I spoke to her!"

"You can hear her."

My happiness halted.

"No she is still bound but she said our bond is weakening the curse on her. She spoke to me in a dream."

Ki wrapped his arms around me.

"That's something isn't it?"

"Yes but she said not to get my hopes up and that what my mother did to me is not easily broken."

Ki sighed.

"Give it time Rave she may have told you that to not get your hopes up but Falc believes and so do i. You will get your wolf Back."

He pulled me back down as I rested my head back on his chest. 

It was so good to speak to Caryi and I had Ki and Falc to thank for it. Our mate I couldn't believe how lucky I was that he picked my house that night so long ago. Never would I have thought this magnificent male would be mine. After all The time i fought against it I vowed then and there that I would do everything I could to keep him.
