14. Like a brother

I woke up the next morning to find blue eyes gazing down at me. I smiled as I leaned up pressing my lips to his.

"Morning sexy."

He chuckled as I stretched.

"Morning beautiful."

I was so comfortable I didn't ever want to leave his arms.

"I wish we could just stay in bed forever."

He smiled wickedly.

"That can be arranged especially if you continue to stay naked."

His eyes glowed devilishly as he lifted me into his lap taking my lips in his. I wrapped my arms around his neck already wet and waiting. For the second time in less then twenty four hours he lunged his way into me core. I clung to his back my nails scratching. My body moved with him as my lips went to his neck. 

A satisfied rumble emitted from him as I nibbled at his skin the desperate need to mark him overwhelming, however unlike last night my canines refused to come out. 

I pulled back disappointed unable to meet his eyes.

Still inside me Ki gently forced me to look at him.

"Rave there's no need to rush this, just enjoy the moment and stop putting pressure on your self."

I sighed.

"I can't help it What if it never happens again and I never have the ability to mark you back?"

He kissed me.

"It doesn't matter it won't make me love you any less."

He cupped my face.

"Do you want to stop?"

I grinned.

"Do you want to stop?"

He growled thrusting into me.

"I will never want to stop."

He rolled me over as he thrust again.

"I will never get tired of being inside you."

Thrust.

"I'll never get over how amazing you feel beneath me."

He thrust again.

"And if I have anything to do with it I'll never let you leave this bed."

His thrusts sped up as I cried out my whole body exploding in pleasure. My legs shaking as I gave myself to him completely.

Afterwards he lay next to me a contented smile on his face til a knock sounded on the door to my room.

"Go away!"

Ki yelled but it was more of a growl.

"Ki?"

Cal started to open the door but Ki rushed to stop him before he walked in, while I ducked under the covers.

Standing before Cal naked he growled.

"This better be good?!"

Cal looked past Ki and seeing me in the bed he smiled widely.

"Having fun are we?"

Ki growled for real this time closing the door so Cal couldn't see me.

"What do you want Cal?!"

He cleared his throat but there was still a hint of a smile on his lips.

"Rav has a visitor."

I pulled the sheet around me and approached the door curiously.

"Who?"

"The pup from the other day the one that delivered Tharon's message."

"Zeld!"

I scrambled to to get clothes together as Ki slammed the door in Cal's face.

"What are you doing?"

I stopped mid putting shorts on.

"Getting dressed."

"Your not seriously going to go see him are you?"

I finished pulling up my pants and threw a shirt on not even bothering with a bra.

"Why wouldn't I?"

Ki threw up his hands suddenly angry.

"Because he wanted to execute you!"

I turned to Ki hands on my hips.

"He didn't want to kill me Tharon did he was just the messenger."

I went to walk past Ki but he blocked my path putting his hands on my shoulders visibly trying to calm down.

"Raven don't forget he's the enemy, I know you grew up with him but it doesn't change the fact that he's part of the moon goddess pack."

I got on my tippy toes and kissed him.

"I know Ki but think about it if we can get Zeld on our side we have inside knowledge of what Tharon's planning."

Ki sighed as he wrapped his arms around me.

"That's only if he can be trusted."

"Let's just see what he wants first."

Ki refused to let me go as he stared into my eyes. Finally after what seemed like ages he groaned. 

"Fine but you're not meeting with him alone."

I raised my eyebrows at him.

"He wouldn't hurt me Ki."

He scoffed.

"That's what you think."

I peered at him confused.

He shook his head.

"Let's get this over with."

I waited for him to get dressed then we both headed downstairs to met Zeld. Cal was waiting outside the office downstairs when we arrived.

"He's inside but word of warning he's not in good shape."

His words had me ripping the door open as I ran inside. What I found was not what i was expecting. Zeld was lying down on the couch cuts and bruises covered his body. It looked like he'd been beaten within and inch of his life.

"Zeld!"

I ran to his side as he awkwardly tried to smile up at me. 

"Hey Rav hows it going?"

I started to inspect his wounds.

"Zeld what the hell happened?"

He pushed my hands away grabbing the sleeve of my T-shirt. Ki growled behind me as Zeld ignored him.

"I came to warn you Tharon's sending another bounty hunter a stronger one."

I turned to Ki.

"Like were going to believe that you mutt."

I scowled at Ki.

"Ki!"

I stood up horrified.

"Don't call him that!"

Ki scowled.

"Why because it's true."

I pushed him towards the door.

"Go get some bandages so I can see to his wounds."

Ki growled but did as if asked leaving the room.

as I Retuened to Zeld I went back to his wounds as I started healing the more severe ones.

"Rav I'm sorry."

He groaned as I inspected a deep gash on his chest.

"Don't worry about it Zeld I know you had no choice."

He stilled my hands then cupped my face.

"I did have a choice one I should've made the day Your dad banished you."

I scowled.

"He's not my dad."

I knew I should have stopped him from touching me but I couldn't I was frozen in place by the look in his eyes.

"I know sorry just habit, but honestly Rav I wanted to go with you when you were banished but I felt like I owed Tharon for saving me when I was a child, but then I realised he was just using me like he uses everyone."

Zeld's hand dropped to my neck as his fingers grazed my neck. Quickly he snapped his hand back as his eyes went to my mark. Suddenly his eyes knot in anger.

"So it is true?!"

Panicking I tried to stop him from jumping to conclusions.

"It's not what you think."

Zeld leaned forwards with effort as he sniffed, I couldn't back away fast enough as his eyes glowed.

"He forced it on you! I'll kill him!"

"No!"

"Don't lie to me Rav I can smell it I didn't believe it when Tharon told me."

He clenched his fists.

"I don't care if he is an alpha I'll kill him."

He made to get up but with all his injuries he flopped back down.

"Zeld stop being so stubborn and let me heal you!"

He mumbled under his breath but stayed still as I finished what I was doing.

Ki came back just as I'd finished my energy tapped out even with only doing the more severe injuries. Using the bandages Ki had got I wrapped the remaining ones.

I smiled to Ki.

"Thank you."

He then faced Zeld.

"Now to figure out what to do with you."

I stood up.

"What do you mean what to do with him he obviously risked his life to warn us!"

Ki pulled me out of the office ordering the twins who now stood at the door to go and watch Zeld.

Once the door was closed he whispered angrily.

"Rave he's still linked to the moon goddess pack I can smell it all over him he can't stay here."

"I'm not kicking him out he's still hurt he'll never servive on his own."

Ki gritted his teeth.

"Well he can be locked up with the bounty hunter then"

"Ki-"

"No Rave I don't trust him."

"Then he can stay with me I'll keep an eye on him unless you don't trust me either."

I went to go back into the office but Ki pulled me back his anger growing.

"Out of the question. If you think I'm letting him be alone with you!"

"How many times do I have to tell you Zeld would never hurt me."

"I'm not worried about him hurting you I'm worried about what else he wants to do with you!"

I scowled what was he implying.

"Zeld's like a brother to me!"

"Well tell him that!"

Ki said pointing to the door. I shook my head at his words denying them. He sighed grabbing my hands.

"Rave I see the way he looks at you he's in love with you."

I groaned in frustration.

"He is not Ki I've known him since we were both five I think I'd know if he was in love with me."

Ki growled in anger.

"How can you be so blind?!"

I stared at him just as he stared at me.

"Even if that is true I love you Ki I'm with you. Do you trust me?"

He remained silent seeming at war with himself.

"If it makes you feel better I'll stay with you while he's staying in my room."

After a while Ki sighed.

"Fine! But I'll be placing guards on his door and outside his windows he goes no where alone and only til his wounds heal."

"Ki you can't just kick him out he might have just saved our lives."

"Well why hasn't he left their pack?!"

"I don't know there must be a reason for it."

"Yea because he's probably the assassin sent to kill you."

I rolled my eyes.

"First you say he loves me now your saying he's an assassin he can't be both Ki."

He threw up his hands in frustration.

"Fine we will see which one it is soon enough but I'm not taking any risks."

Ki rubbed his temple. 

"I'm going to regret this."

I kissed his lips.

"You worry too much."

I made to open the door but he grabbed me giving me a deeper kiss.

"If he touches you all bets are off and I'll just kill him instead."

I ignored his comment and opened the door. 

The twins were standing over Zeld as he glared back. Seeing us enter without taking his eyes off the twins he asked.

"What's the verdict?"

Ki answered before me.

"You'll stay here while you heal then your out."

Turning to the twins he ordered.

"Take him to Raven's room have him guarded at all times outside the door and the windows."

The twins helped Zeld up as they started taking him to my room. I stared to follow but Ki stopped me.

"I'll be fine Ki."

He reluctantly let me go turning back at the door I added.

"Don't forget You promised to train me til Loki gets back."

Ki lips curved into a smile.

"Or we could continue what we started this morning in my bed."

He wrapped his arms around me grabbing my arse. I wanted nothing more then to go up to his room but I also didn't want to let down Loki. If I could get stronger til he came back it would help when he started training me.

"Na ah you promised."

He sighed.

"Fine go see to your puppy and I'll meet you outside."

Ignoring his insult aimed at Zeld I kissed him good bye and followed the twins upstairs.

They put him down on the bed and left the room leaving the door open. I assumed Ki had mind linked them saying not to let me be alone with Zeld. I sighed turning back to Zeld.

"You took a big risk coming here after last time."

"I couldn't help it i had to know if it was true."

I peered at him confused.

"If what was true?"

He looked away.

"Never mind Don't worry as soon as I'm healed I'll leave."

I grabbed his hand.

"You can't Zeld ill talk to Ki maybe you can leave the moon goddess pack and join the blue moon."

Zeld scowled.

"I doubt Ki will allow that he doesn't trust me he'd kill me the first chance he got."

"No he won't he's not like that."

"Could've fooled me."

Zeld eyes returned to my neck.

"So what are you guys mated now?"

There was sarcasm in his voice.

"Well not completely since I can't shift I can't mark him back but Zeld he's my true mate I love him."

"Great."

His attitude wasn't like him I thought he'd be happy for me since we had been talking about finding our mates since we were little.

"What's wrong Zeld I thought you'd be happy for me."

He scoffed.

"Why would I be happy you hated being in a pack Rav now your willing giving yourself over to them. How long till you join their pack?"

It was a fair question but to be honest I hadn't even thought about it. He was right though by choosing Ki i would have to join the blue moon pack, but now that I knew I was the last Forest lakes wolf I just couldn't bring myself to turn my back on my heritage when I'd only just found it.

"See you know I'm right."

I scowled as I stood up.

"I hope you feel better soon Zeld I'll talk to Ki about seeing if you can at least stay a bit longer."

 Before Zeld could say anything else I left the room Closing the door behind me.

As I headed outside Zeld's words haunted my thoughts. Could I be with Ki and the blue moon pack and still be a Forest lakes wolf? I shook my head that was a question for another day at the moment we had more important things to worry about like Tharon who now had a another thing to answer for. Also this unknown bounty hunter so much for ki's thoughts that he wouldn't send another.

Every where I go every day that passes Tharon finds a new way to make me hate him for I did hate him. I hated him with every fibre of my being and I would make him pay for everything that he has done.
