Chapter 4: Taehyung's Plan

[Detention]

The classroom was once again, silent. Both the girls, Y/N and Sana, were working quietly. Both the boys, Taehyung and Jimin, were playing games on their phones or either scrolling through their social media.

Suddenly, over the classroom loudspeakers, the principal called out to Mr Jung to come to the principle's office. The students remained unbothered while the situation of Mr Jung was different. 

He was sweating like rain and had a flustered look on his face. Mr Jung was the youngest of all teachers and he is terrified, I repeat, terrified of the principle. Although he was a very good teacher, he always doubted himself. 

"What did I do wrong? Oh God have mercy on me!", thought the teacher. 

He told the students to behave themselves and then ran out of the classroom, after fixing his clothes and tie. When the teacher stepped out of the classroom, both the boys burst into laughter.

"Did you...take a look...at his face??!!", Jimin said to Taehyung while laughing uncontrollably.

"I know right, it felt as if he was about to faint any moment!!", Taehyung said still laughing.

Both the boys kept on laughing, and at this point Jimin was lying on the floor, holding his stomach which was starting to ache because of laughing too much. Taehyung who was thankfully on his chair had tears of joy in his eyes.

 Both of them instantly shut their mouths after hearing Y/N's angry comment,

 Taehyung was staring at Y/N with utmost fear while Jimin who was serious for a while, cracked up and started giggling which was then turned into big laughs. 

Y/N stood up from her chair, rolled her sleeves and approached Jimin. She held his shirt collar so tightly that veins were popping out her hands. She was really angry. Y/N was about to punch him but Taehyung and Sana stopped her. 

She was pulled away from Jimin but as soon she realized Taehyung was near her, she ruthlessly pushed him away. 

Jimin is the kind of guy who holds grudges against anyone, even if it's a girl. He pushed away everyone and stood in front of Y/N who didn't flinch one bit and held her ground knowing what she did and said, was not wrong.

"You seem to enjoy picking on people huh? Let's see if you can survive me!", he yelled before punching Y/N right in the face. 

Y/N was on the floor, holding her face while Sana pushed Jimin but as a result, Sana was shoved to the ground instead. Looking at her friend in pain made Y/N furious. 

Taehyung came to stop Jimin but before he even got close to him, Y/N immediately stood up and kicked him in the stomach which caused him to fall on the ground. She then punched him in the face like he punched her, but way more harder. 

Y/N kept punching him to the point where blood started to leave his mouth. Taehyung and Sana tried to take Y/N off of him but she was way too strong. Finally, Mr Jung entered the classroom and soon was shocked to see Y/N on top of Jimin, beating the crap out of him. At last Y/N was taken away from Jimin who groaned in pain. Y/N also let out a wail when she felt the pain because of her knuckles that were bruised and bleeding. 

All four of the students were taken to the principles office where Jimin and Y/N were being given first-aid treatment. Y/N had fractured her wrist and had a bruise on her cheekbone while Jimin's lip had a cut and he also had a few bruises on his face. All four students were in the principal office where they were being questioned.

"Who started the fight?", the principal demanded for an answer.

"Her!"

"WHAT?! ME?! You were the one to start the fight, asshole!"

"Y/N! Language, please! Taehyung and Sana, can you tell me who started the fight?"

Taehyung was confused. He wanted to lie so that his friend could be saved but he also promised himself to support Y/N. While he was thinking who to choose, Sana told the principal what actually happened. 

The principal then asked Taehyung if he agrees with Sana who stated that Jimin started the fight. 

Y/N scoffed as she knew Taehyung would lie to save his friend but still she was curious to hear his answer which was, " I..I agree with Sana. Jimin started the fight. Y/N is innocent." 

After listening to Taehyung's statement, Y/N couldn't believe seeing him supporting her but Jimin remained silent. 

The principle wasn't surprised that Jimin got into another fight but he sure was surprised that he would raise his hand on a girl, "Mr Park, this kind of behaviour is unaccepted. I would expel you from this school but I will let you go this time. You still need to be punished for what you did, so I suspend you from school for one week. You all may go back home."

Jimin glared at Y/N and stormed off the office. Taehyung ran after him while Sana and Y/N went back to class to pick up their belongings. 

[Meanwhile outside the school building]

Taehyung ran after Jimin and called out his name which stopped Jimin from walking any further ad turn around with, surprisingly, a smirk. 

Taehyung approached him and said yellingly, "What the hell Jimin!!? You punched her and you know that wasn't the plan. The plan was you arguing with her and me taking her side but you hurt her instead."

 "Whoa, calm down. At least we succeeded but you're right, I shouldn't have raised my hand at her. But she had no right to hold me from my collar. She doesn't have to prove to me that she is taller than me." 

"You're right hyung. She shouldn't have done that but anyways thank you for helping me.", Taehyung returned to him with a smile. 

Jimin couldn't help but appreciate the fact that he has a whole week to enjoy.

"You know what Tae?"

"What?"

 "Because of you, I am free from school for a week. Thanks, bro."

 "Oh yeah. Soooo what will you do for a whole week?"

 *smirks* "You know well."*winks*

 "Eww hyung!!"

 "What??! Since when did you become like this?"

"Ever since Y/N came into my life."

"Okay, then you say I'm the cringey one."

Both of them bid their goodbyes and went the opposite directions.

[Meanwhile......]

Y/N and Sana had picked up their belongings from their classrooms and walked through the school hallway. 

There was a short silence among them when Sana spoke,

"For what? You didn't even do anything.", Y/N returned. 

"Exactly! I didn't even do anything to save you.", Sana said being a bit frustrated.

 Y/N managed to calm her down, "What are you talking about Sana? You were the one who pushed Jimin to save me. You don't know how much you helped me Sana, so stop doubting yourself." 

Sana nodded with a smile when Y/N continued, " Look, I know you are an introvert kinda person, but I just want you to know that you can trust me." 

Sana was so happy to hear and know that she can trust someone, "Y/N I already trust you. Oh look, we are already outside."

Y/N and Sana were so lost in their conversation that they didn't even realize they were outside. Both of them hugged each other goodbye and went separately into the opposing directions.

Y/N P.O.V

I walked towards my house admiring the beautiful sunset which brought joy to me and my heart. The silence was only filled a few birds chirping and my shoes, which were producing and echo each time I took a step forward. 

I was having a peaceful time walking home when suddenly I heard someone yelling my name. The voice sounded familiar so I looked behind to see Taehyung running towards me with a bright smile.

Heh, cute. Wait what? NOOOO not cute!! Stop it Y/N.  

Taehyung stood in front of me, holding his knees and out of breath. He took quick, long breaths and finally stood up in a normal position.

"What do you want?", I said in an annoyed tone.

"What's with the attitude missy? I saved your life back in the office and that's how you repay me?", Taehyung said sounding a bit sad.

"What do you want me to do? Kneel in front of you and thank you for saving my life?", I said.

"I don't want you to kneel in front of me but a thank you would be nice.", Taehyung said expecting me to say thank you.

"In your dreams! Now tell me what's your problem.", I replied.

Taehyung replied, "I don't have a problem. I noticed we both share the same route to go home so I thought........maybe I could accompany you?"

"Fine!", I sighed knowing he won't give up. 

Maybe Taehyung didn't expect me to agree so he wanted to make sure of it, "Really? I can?"

"Yes, but you better keep your distance. You know well what could happen if I lay my hands on you and I won't hesitate to do it!", I threatened him.

"Your hands on me? I wonder what COULD happen", he said with a smirk plastered on his face.

 UGH, that smirk. I swear I wouldn't have second thoughts on tearing that smirk from his face!

It annoys me so much, "Taehyung just go home!"

 I was about to leave when he held my wrist and apologized while giving me that pout. Oh, not the pout! Wait, I shouldn't be affected by that. What the hell is happening?! Okay fine. I'll let him come with me just this once.

"Fine, you can come." Taehyung smiled at me and let go of my wrist.

 I started walking alongside with him. I have to admit, he is quite sweet. He talks so nicely but I know if I fall for him, my whole life will be ruined.
