Chapter 15: First Face off Between Love Rivals…

Suddenly there was a hasty commotion at the guest house reception, they all came out from the room and were surprised to saw the two most outstanding and handsome men with demonic features standing there facing each other.

Though, Liam left early but how can he beat Armaan.

Both were carrying a cold aura and undefined emotions in their eyes, which of course they can only understand. Till now nobody has uttered a single word but the smell of gunpowder in the air was obvious enough to freeze anyone. They all were stunned and surprised, no actually shocked.

To break the awkwardness Jace Keen, Liam’s assistant, came forward and extended his hands to Nolan. Nolan also respectfully responded considering the situation.

Seeing that, Liam & Armaan also extended their hands to shake.

“What caught Mr. Lee to come here at this time in such an abrupt situation?” Liam asked with a faint smile.

“Same that got Mr. Sean here!” Armaan replied.

Liam raised his eyebrow, and said, “My people are working here so it is my responsibility to take care of them. So I am here to take my people away safely.”

“Yes, you are absolutely right we need to be responsible for people who belong to us but only when they belong to. You are forgetting that MU employees are Lee’s responsibility now so how can we leave them in such state.” Armaan said with a devilish smile.

“Of course and I hope you remember this Mr. Lee,” Liam smirked.

“Sure, I do Mr. Sean, best of luck then!”Armaan said and went forward towards Mark.

Liam knows Armaan has the upper hand right now as he can’t interfere in his company’s affair, so he didn’t take things forwards.

People thought that how concerned they are but the hidden meaning behind the words was only clear to these two gentlemen only.

They both looked in the direction of where all were standing.

Seeing Reese Armaan’s eyes got softened, he can clearly feel that she was a little scared. He felt uneasy within. He wants to take her in his arms to comfort her. But relax man…you have to wait for a little.

All were standing dazed there while straightening their backs.

Armaan asked about the situation and asked how many people are there from the Mark.

Mark reported that they were five people.

Nolan asked about their home addresses and arranged the cars accordingly for everybody. Nolan told Mark that Ms. Reese home comes on the way to our route so we will drop her. Mark nodded and they all left.

Once all cars left, Nolan opened the passenger seat of Armaan’s Bentley for Reese and Armaan circled and went to the driver seat. She was still standing there as is, seeing this Nolan extended his hand and gestured her to sit, then only she slid in the car. Reese startled little as she never thought Armaan will drive himself.

But how can Armaan leave such an opportunity to be alone with Reese?

Armaan informed mother Lee that Reese is safe and is coming with him.

He started the car but he stopped after a few meters. He turned and bent towards Reese, she strutted and shrugged back. His body was also half on her and his hot breath was sprinkling on her face. His face is very close to her lips. He stopped there and looked into her eyes. She was still not out of the last night encounter, and this again makes things difficult for her.

She closed her eyes were trembling badly. He chuckled and extended his right hand to get the seat belt and plucked into the lock

When she heard the sound of the lock, she opened her eyes and turned her face to Armaan. He has just lifted her head when Reese's lips touched his neck. They both got staggered.

Although, Armaan enjoyed this soft feather touch of her lips.

“I…I am..am sorry, I didn’t mean to,” Reese said feeling embarrassed.     

Armaan went back to his position, and replied, “Umm!”

Is he is short of words? A few minutes back he was speaking to Liam as nobody is as eloquent as he is. She cursed.

There was utter silence in the car and both can hear their shallow breath.

Suddenly Armaan asked, “Have you majored in mountain regions?”

“What do you mean by this?” Reese replied.

“Did I use any other language which you don’t understand? Or which part of the question was difficult to comprehend?” Armaan said.

“I do understand your question but I didn’t understand your purview of asking this,” Reese said.

“Then let it be!” Armaan replied.

“Why let it be? Why do you always doubt my competencies?” Reese replied with little agony.

Armaan took a deep breath and said, “Don’t you know what the prerequisites of site survey are, especially, in the case of Mountain sites? Have you got the surveillance reports? ”

Reese was a little nonpulsed as she knows he nailed on the head and didn’t utter a word.

Seeing her silent, he said, “Let’s discuss this tomorrow.”
