Chapter 12: Sudden Visit of Investor…

They all came to the office post-lunch to finish other tasks.

Mr. Davis was having more meetings planned and there were investors conference was also premeditated which were very critical. This particular day has become significant for him with the fact that they got one of the biggest projects and another that they will soon be signing with one of the biggest investors with substantial funding.

The signing meeting on company share was planned after 5 days and all legal documentation was also almost completed. But once they came back from the lunch, Mr. Davis received a call from the investors that it will be done today itself and they will be coming to their office after one hour along with President.

It was the second shock in continuation for Mr. Davis after yesterday's post Sean’s incident. All of a sudden he felt like all the presidents are getting attracted to their organization as if it is a magnet. Why they all are coming forward and eager to complete the formalities when that can be done easily by their subordinates. However, he doesn’t have the answers so he let it be.

The meeting was planned at 4:00 PM and there was sudden havoc got created. Unaware of all these, Reese was working on his design plan when Mrs. Grace notified each group and announced that, today all need to present in the conventional hall as few official announcements will be made.

Curious everyone, they talked to each other for the reason but no one knows!

Nancy asked Reese to come along as it was already a time for them to go to the conventional hall. She held her hand and walked towards the elevator. As every design group was being informed so she gets a chance to meet others too. Nancy introduced her to all and she gracefully said hi to all.

Everyone got seated to their respective seats when Mr. Davis held the mike on stage and said, “Good evening everyone and welcome. Thanks to all for attending this meeting at such short notice.

Before I begin, I would like to take a moment to pass my sincere thanks and gratitude to all my employees for making us outstanding. You all are strong pillars, with which we have an unshakable position in the market.

Today, this meeting is called upon for sharing wonderful news with this extended family. I am pleased to announce that we have received substantial funding from one of the biggest business groups oh Philadelphia that will create a more promising future for MU Designers. With this, we will continue to deliver superior results and value to all our associates and business partners.

And now, I would like to invite our investors on stage, please welcome Mr. Armaan Lee from Lee Group with a big round of applause.”

Everyone clapped and turned to look into the direction of the commotion. Girls were about to go mad as who has not seen Armaan the geek male god with superior individuality and aura. He is a dream man of every woman in Philadelphia whose looks are enough to make anyone crazy. But his cold appearance was enough to give shivers to anyone. He walking towards the stage with his long slender legs wrapped in the black trouser. Every girl was becoming fanatical except Reese as she rooted to the spot where she was sitting. She thought she must have heard wrong but seen the response of every girl she was little sure what she heard was correct.

Before she realized what was going on Armaan was already standing there on the stage.

Armaan holds the mike and said, “Thanks everyone for coming on this short notice. This is a unique opportunity for the Lee group to embarking with MU designers with attractive opportunities while focusing on efficiency & discipline. I have full confidence in the responsible stewardship management group and employees of MU that we will achieve a competitive advantage in the market. Thanks again and welcome to this strategic partnership with Lee group.”

His voice was so magnetic and sexy that it can make anyone pregnant.

All girls were going wildly mad, again except Reese. She doesn’t know what to do. She was crying without tears. The more she wants to stay away from this Satan of his life the more she gets closed to him. One of the reasons for choosing this organization was that he would not be interested in such a group and there would be no interaction.

But who would have thought that on the very first day of her office she will receive such a shock?

Her head was swirling, she kept her head down. She was feeling so annoyed that she wants to slap him and want to ask him why the hell he chooses this company only to invest in.  While she was immersed in her shock sensation, her every move was been watched by Armaan. He was feeling awesome when he saw her appearance changed from confusion to stun then to shock. He was amused to see her facial expression as well, he wants to go and ask her how she is feeling right now while circling his arms around her.

Nancy tapped on Reese's shoulder and asks her to come back to the world of reality. She doesn’t know the history behind her astonished look so she thought she was also amused by Armaan’s allure.

She said, “Oh God, I have only seen him in magazines and newspapers. But he looks more handsome in reality, far better than any model. I can do anything if he just gives me a single glance. Heavens I am going to have heartache now. Mr. Davis should have prepared a few ambulances beforehand. ”

Reese doesn’t know how to answer this so she just gave a faint smile.

Post-meeting all left.

Reese came out from the meeting and called Aviva immediately.

Aviva picked up the call but before she could place a phone on her ear; she heard a scream of annoyance from the other side.

Reese said, “What the hell Aviva? What does he think about himself? Why does he like to poke his nose in everything that I do? I don’t know what I owe him? Can’t he see me live happily? But I want to beat him right now. Heavens, what should I do now?”

Aviva replied, “Ouch…relax sweetheart, what happened? Who made my darling so upset? To whom you own? Can you please let me know with a few hints baby? I’ll make him pay double.”

“Your outstanding brother who else, what have I done to him?” Reese replied in a sad voice.

“What…what are you talking about? What he has done? Don’t tell me he…” Aviva asked with some fright.

“Oh shut up Aviva…He invested in MU’s and now a major shareholder here,” Reese replied with heavy distress.

Hearing this, Aviva paused for a few seconds and then burst out in a loud laugh.

Reese was disconcerted when she heard her laughing, she hung up the call but before that, she said, “Go to hell!”
