Chapter 11: Meeting with Liam Sean!

The next morning, Reese left before time for office as she has to report early with the hand-out design factors. They have an internal meeting in the morning where they will discuss the same and make any amendments if required before kick-off meeting.

She reached the office on time and Mark called everyone for a meeting. Reese has prepared a detailed plan covering everything about the design layout including typography, vernacular, form & volume, physical features, views, mass, atmosphere, grid, materials, orientation, protections, and importantly structure & technology, which doesn’t need any changes. It was approved by Mark; the only thing that was left was to physically visit the site to get the actual dimension to get the understanding of the foot hall, physical environment, base capacity, physical terrain, and length.

Reese has done an exceptional site planning in this initial draft; everyone was amazed to see her work professionalism and eye-to-detail. Mark was also a little surprised to see the work she has done.

They all left the office by 11:30 pm as lunch was proposed at 12:30 pm., and everyone settled and were waiting for Sean’s team. They all were relaxed as they already have attended such meetings so it was not something unusual in that. The kick-off meeting is not only arranged for work but it is also arranged for the teams so that they can get along with others well. It is a kind formal but informal introduction for both groups.

But Mr. Davis was a little tense as he knows President Mr. Liam was also attending this meeting. Reese was busy discussing things with Mark and Nancy and was totally unaware that Liam was coming too. Although they never talked too much in college but know each other. Liam was an outstanding student and a male god of every young girl. He possessed everything that any girl can dream of like a superior family background, devilish handsomeness, exquisite facial features, stunning charm, and gentleness. Back then getting a proposal from girls has become the daily routine for him, to which he never responded.

When everyone was still talking they felt a sudden commotion at the entrance of the restaurant's private room.

Few bodyguards appeared circling a man, once they all entered the room, they stepped aside and a charismatic and graceful young man appeared. Everyone’s eyes seem to fall out and the girls' jaw has dropped to the ground. He was wearing a grey color clean-cut contemporary suit with a dark grey satin shirt. He was smiling like an angel. His eyes were electrifying and seem to holds alluring magic.

All the girls seem to fix rooted in their place. Nobody knows where he was looking but his eyes were fixed in one direction where Reese was sitting. Reese felt somebody is watching and also sense the commotion; she looks in the direction where Liam was standing.

She gave a little nod to him that was unnoticeable to all but Liam caught that in his eyes. He smiled back as acceptance.

He came forward with his team and Jace Keen his assistant introduced to all.

They all settled in their places but the environment became too formal because of Liam’s presence.

Mr. Davis asked Mark to initiate the discussion; Mark presented the plan and called Reese to present the initial hand out the draft. She came forward and presented every fact and figure with full confidence.

No matter what all were saying, Liam’s full attention was on Reese, today she was wearing a light pink color floral shirt with black trousers and her hairs were tied in a high ponytail. She was looking exceptionally beautiful.  Although he has not heard anything that she said but his eyes were on his plump rose petal lips. His body was getting a little uncomfortable and giving him signs.

Once she finished the presentation, everyone applauded for her, only then he came back to his senses. He also appraised all for their contribution and congratulated them.

Liam gestured Jace to call the key team members. Jace went to Mr. Davis and asked him to call the primary designer as the Presidents wants to meet them.

Davis called Mark and Reese, Mark & Reese respectfully bowed to Liam.

Mark introduced Reese to Liam a primary designer. Liam extended his hands towards Reese, she startled a little bit as everyone was there so she shakes hands with him. They discussed few things in formal way.

Jace came and asked Davis & Mark to come with him as they need to sign some documents. They left, only Liam & Reese left.

Reese tried to excuse herself but Liam held her wrist, her body stiffened a bit which Liam sensed and left her.

There was an awkward silence between them.

Liam broke the stillness and said, “Although we are here for business but we are old acquaintances.”

She smiled back and said, “Yes, senior. I am quite interested to know how come you moved into this business as your focus was always on mining.”

Liam gave a brisk laugh and replied, “For someone special!”

“Oh is that so, can I have the privilege to know who the lucky one,” She asked.

“No, I am the lucky one,” he replied.

“Awesome…but I am sure she will be very lucky to have a person like you as a lover. If she has any specific preference you can tell us,” Reese asked.

“No just design as per your liking. Reflect your best side in this and take it as it is your own. I know you will do perfect justice.” Liam said.

“Thanks for having confidence in me, but still if I can meet her it will great!” She said.

He looked into her eyes with a desire of possessiveness and replied, “Soon you’ll get a chance!”

Reese smiled back and left.

Meeting ended with a positive note and they all left.
