Chapter 10: Mid-night Encounter!

Aviva & Reese reached home, although Aviva wanted to roam around but Reese told her that she has to prepare a design handout of the new project which is little time-consuming. They reached the home and had dinner with all except Armaan as he has some important business to do so he will come late.

She went to her room, took shower, and changed to her comfortable night suit, and started preparing the handout plan on the laptop. She worked till mid-night and when she was about to close her laptop, she heard the sound of footsteps from outside.

She opened the door and soon comes a human wall in front of her to which she hit hard and as she was not prepared so she bounced back when Armaan circled his arms around her waist. Her hands were there on his chest and his iron rod arms surrounded her tightly. Soon a fragrant masculine scent with a hint of mint entered her nose that made her a little dizzy. She felt a little current pass through her body. She was frozen. Her body reacted strangely and she felt as if her scalp went numb. Her heartbeat was racing so fast. When she came back to senses she pushed him with little force, but how can she match his strength.

Armaan loosened his grip and she retreated few steps back with a little scare look on her face that was noticed by the man standing against her face.

Armaan came late and was about to get into the room that was also there on the 1st floor, when he heard the sound of the door opening of Reese’s room, he slowed down his pace and stood there.

When Reese opened the door she didn’t realize that he was standing there and hit him hard on his chest. Although Armaan waited there to see her but didn’t expect that he’ll get a little surprise. When she bounced back he immediately caught her in arms, having her so close to his body made him very happy.

A sweet fragrance was remitting from her body and hair that he secretly sniffed. Her petite body was so delicate and soft, which he felt will get broken if he exerts a little force. Her plump lips were like a sweet delicacy. He licked his lips while looking straight into her eyes. He loved this feeling of having her in his arms and was reluctant to leave her when he felt she was pushing him. He came back to senses and left her.

“What are doing so late in the middle of the night?” Armaan asked with a straight face.

“I just finished my design work and was about to go to sleep when I heard the footsteps.” She replied.

“On every first day you have been assigned so much of the work that you have to work so late, I am really curious about your capability,” Armaan asked.

“What do you mean by that? I am capable enough and the project assigned to me was my major and I have good knowledge in this area.” She retorted with a little anger.

“Having knowledge and experience are two different aspects,” Armaan replied, although he said that but he was finding her very cute when she was talking to him. Her lips were like rose petals that makes him lose control of himself.

“Indeed but without applying the knowledge you won’t gain experience.” She replied. Oh god, I hate this awful man, why he always try to despise me.

“Of course, but only when people have brains which I believe you lack a lot.” He said.

“Can somebody give me a loaded gun; I want to hit this man. What the hell he thinks of himself? Is he is the only one who can do anything? Does he think that he is the only one with a super IQ? Although I agree that he is a genius but why does he always pick me?... She thought.

Thanks for your assessment but I really don’t need that, not at least from you. She replied and turned back to her room and slammed the door on his face.

Armaan has a deep but devilish smile on his face and said to himself, sweetheart soon you’ll have everything from me and only me. Let me see how much you can stop yourself falling for me.
