I sighed and took Lissie towards the bed. I made her sit and I sat beside her. I knew she had gotten attached with me but I just could not give her what she wanted from me. It was not her place. Eve was the only one I needed in my life. And I did not tell her anything about my mate at all. Not that I did not miss Eve while I was with her. I had missed Eve every single moment. But that did not mean that I would break Lissie's heart.
I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her to my chest. "Lissie, from now on, you will not be a slave here. You will be a turned vampire. You can do whatever you want to do. Your debts are clear. And your brother will be fine. You don't have to worry about anything. But if you are thinking that I would take you with me to my territory, I am sorry. I can not do that." I replied and she broke the hug. With tears in her eyes, she looked at me and I sighed again as I knew what she was thinking about.
"Lissie, you need to understand one thing, you are not a slave anymore. You don't have to serve anyone from now on. As for me, think of me as your friend. I will be your friend. Whenever you need me, you can come to me or call me whenever you need me. I will definitely be there for you." I tried to explain it to her. She narrowed her head and started sobbing quietly. It definitely broke my heart to see her like that but I tried my best to stay away from her.
"I thought you love me." And then she said something I did not want to hear from anyone else, but Eve. The first time I had sex with her, I knew she would not be able to control herself. That was why I decided to keep her away from me. But she never actually got the signal. And I also ended up fucking her hard. I did not think for once that it was destroying her the worst way.
"Lissie, I don't love you. You were there to serve me and I was not a monster to let you die. I definitely like you but I don't love anyone else. I only have feelings for my mate and I want to be loyal to her. She is the only one I want in my life." I replied and stood up. I just did not have anything else to say or do. I stood up and in a blink of an eye, I was out of the room.
Vincent bid his goodbyes. It was a relief to know that Valtor was not around anymore. Or he never actually let go of any moment to get me angry. I was in a really good mood. And I did not want to ruin it. That was the reason I also avoided Lissie. So I could be in a good mood until I would reach home. I wanted to hug Eve with a huge smile that would tell her that I had missed her.
I hugged Master Gerard and he patted my back. I sensed Lissie around and I broke the hug. "As promised, you have to send her back to her home, safe and sound. And make sure she would be safe and okay. Or I will come here to have a fun chat with you in the ring. It will be definitely fun for me to crack a bone or two of yours." I asked Gerard and he chuckled. He nodded his head and looked behind me. I knew Lissie was standing behind me. That was why I did not look.
"Don't worry, my friend. Lissie will be going home. She can get her life back. And as promised, I will take care of her family." He replied and I nodded my head. Saying my goodbyes, I stepped out of the palace and went towards my cart. I stepped into my cart as James held open the door for me.
"Master Adrian, I hope you will not be mad at me anymore. I promise I will never punish anyone this hard. I never actually thought the way you made me think. I will apologize for my deeds. I hope the others will forgive me as well. Please forgive me, Master Adrian. You know how much I love Master Gerard. And he will not talk to me until you will forgive me." James said as he closed the door of my cart. I smiled hearing his claims and nodded my head.
"It is nice to hear that you regret whatever you have done. And you are not just willing to change that but also asking forgiveness. You are forgiven. Don't worry about me. I know, your master will forgive you as well." I replied and a hopeful smile made its way to his lips. He thanked me and I just chuckled seeing his excitement for his master. He was a loyal server. Just like Ryan was for me.
I signalled the driver and the cart started moving. I tried my best not to look at Lissie but at some point, my eyes caught her site. She was crying crazily as she saw me going back to my territory. I just could not take her back. I knew how possessive Eve was about me. And I also knew that she did not have anyone in her life except for me.
At least, Lissie had a family she could rely on. While Eve was all alone. I was her family and her friend. I was the only person she had ever hugged. Sometimes, it broke my heart to even think that my mate had been through hell all her life while I was just fucking every single slave I had bought. Even though I knew Lissie was not my mate, it still hurt me to think that she was crying when I left.

EVE'S POV:-I was standing on the balcony of Master Adrian's bedroom. He was still in bed. He did not wake up but I wanted to see the sun set. As I was not a vampire, I was able to see the sun. I always liked to sit into the sunlight and enjoy the warmth it offers to every single living being in this world. To be honest, I have ever prayed not to become a vampire. For me, the sun and its warmth was like a gift. Something I had never gotten into my life.I once had heard that a mother's arms were like the warmth of the sun. And the light of the sun belongs to a father. They lighten up the world of their children so they can grow bigger and stay healthy.
