I buried my face in the crock of his neck and inhaled his masculine scent deeply. It calmed my nerves whenever I am scared or nervous. But if I am blushing or feeling excited, Master Adrian's scent always makes it hard for me to resist him. He had told me that he would not touch me. Not until I would feel the same way for him as he felt for me. I was his mate but I had never felt anything like he had described.
Yes, I was attracted to him and I wanted to spend all my life in his arms. But the feeling of being his mate was still missing. I knew how it felt to be a mate. It's like a jigsaw puzzle. Like the jigsaw puzzle is not complete without it's missing pieces, creatures are also incomplete without their mates. Master Adrian had completed my life with his love and care and the way he cherished me was something I had not imagined. I had never gotten any treatment like that ever before. But still, nothing like a mate.
Or maybe it was because I was still a mortal. Mortals can not feel this blessed emotion that mates can feel. And it killed me every time Master Adrian told me how he felt about me but I was totally blanked with this emotion, Master Adrian always tried to tell me. According to him, a mate is like a booze. Just the mare scent of the mate can turn you on. I also wanted to feel the urge to lie naked with him so he could fuck me senselessly. So he would fuck me until I would beg him to stop. Or until I would pass out. And nothing would be able to wake me up for hours.
He rubbed the tip of his nose with my cheek and I looked at him with a confused look on my face. I blinked a few times then smiled as he opened her eyes. He grabbed my face a little aggressively and sucked both of my lips, one after another. I was breathing heavily as he was dominating me. I really loved his dominating side. He would just order me to do something. And I had to finish the task. Or he would get angry and would punish me. I never knew what kind of punishment he had in his mind for me. Because I never did anything that would have angered him.
It was his order to thank him every time he would suck my lips or kiss me hard. But only in bed. Every time I tried hard to do as he told me. But still, I could not help that resistance I had. Something that pulled me away every time he was closer to me. But this time, I thanked him every time he stopped for a few seconds to allow me to thank him. And I also did not feel like I was being pulled away from Master Adrian. "Good girl. You did not resist me this time. Let's move to the next step." He said as he pecked my lips one last time before he crawled out of the bed. I frowned because I did not understand what he was up to.
"What do you mean, Master? Do I have to do something else this time?" I asked him in a confused tone. He looked at me with a raised brow and a killing smirk that awoken that same funny feeling inside my stomach. I took a deep breath to calm myself and sat up on the bed.
"Yes! Today, we are doing something new. Something you will like very much. Now do as I will tell you. I am going to get some blood for my morning snack. You strip your clothes off and wait for me. I want you sitting naked on the bed. Not even in your panties. Are we understood?" He explained to me and then asked me. I gulped hard and nodded my head slowly. He smirked and stepped out of the room. I definitely did not want to anger him, so I did as I was ordered to do. I quickly stripped off my clothes and waited for Master Adrian to come back.
I had the comforter in my hands as I was afraid if anyone except for Master Adrian would step into Master Adrian's bedroom. I pulled the comforter up as I heard a click of the door lock. I sighed in relief as I saw Master Adrian stepping inside the bedroom. I moved the comforter away and hugged my knees. As I was nervous, I started chewing my nails. "Good girl! That is what I like the most about you, Eve. You do exactly as you are ordered to do. Do you know how fucking hot it is to know that you submit to me this easily?" He said as he slowly made his way to the bed.
"I can do anything for you, Master. I can die a hundred times if you ask me to." I replied to him and a small smile made its way to his lips. He came closer to me and hugged me again. Rubbing his hand on my bear back, he peppered a hundred kisses on the top of my head.
"I feel like I have won this whole universe. How can you love me more than I love you, without having the emotional attachment that mates always have?" He asked me and I shrugged my shoulders.
"I don't know. I feel like I was born to just love you more and more. I just fear for the day when my life would end and I would be alone in that dark grave. I don't want to lose you. I don't want to be alone there." I replied and he tightened his hold around me. He then cupped my face with his hands and leaned in. As his lips touched my lips, all the fears I had, faded away and the only thing I could feel and it was his love for me.
He slowly kissed me. Like he was savoring the taste of my mouth. The way his tongue caressed my tongue, I could not help but feel all the scars I had on my soul, vanishing as if Master Adrian was healing them all, slowly with his love. He broke the kiss when he felt that I was out of breath. But to be honest, if I would not be afraid of the dark, I would have died with that kiss but never let him break that kiss.

EVE'S POV:-I was standing on the balcony of Master Adrian's bedroom. He was still in bed. He did not wake up but I wanted to see the sun set. As I was not a vampire, I was able to see the sun. I always liked to sit into the sunlight and enjoy the warmth it offers to every single living being in this world. To be honest, I have ever prayed not to become a vampire. For me, the sun and its warmth was like a gift. Something I had never gotten into my life.I once had heard that a mother's arms were like the warmth of the sun. And the light of the sun belongs to a father. They lighten up the world of their children so they can grow bigger and stay healthy.
