Mag-log inThe week went by in a blur of online school, paperwork discussing the matters of my trip, and packing. Jacob wasn't home the day of my departure because of an emergency that came up last minute so to make sure that he was aware of what I was up to I left him a little note. 'Work emergency have to travel out of state will be back when everything is sorted out' yeah I made sure not to give any specifics on the trip. As I took a taxi to Khalil's place I took the liberty of texting Mr. & Mrs. Hao along with Mr. Hansson about my trip that way they can't say that I was sneaking around again like with my trip to Miami. As the taxi pulled up at Khalil's house I saw him standing on the sidewalk surrounded by hundreds no maybe thousands of bags and I couldn't help laughing as the taxi drivers jaw fell open. "Please tell me that isn't your boyfriend" I continued to laugh as I gave the taxi driver an apologetic look "I'm so sorry!" After parking the driver went out to help Khalil put his bags in the trunk or more like shove them in the trunk. It took them over 25 minutes to get the trunk closed again with them both being exhausted. Khalil got in the taxi looking as if he had just ran the marathon with the taxi driver looking the same "How about you two take a few minutes to catch your breath wouldn't want any of you passing out on me" I laughed as Khalil slid his head into my lap and as the taxi driver rested his head onto his hands that gripped the steering wheel. As the two of them calmed down the taxi driver began to drive us to the airport "You know that boyfriend of yours needs to learn to pack with less bags I'm pretty sure there was enough space to put more things in each bag." Khalil slowly made his way up into a sitting position "I'm sorry! I don't really have much experience packing for a move type of trip" the taxi driver sighed as he turned on the radio and zoned into driving. "It's ok baby this is something for the both of us in all honesty I think that I didn't pack enough for a trip like this."
As I reached put my hand to stroke his face Khalil grabbed my wrist mid-way and pulled me close to him which made me blush a bit. "I'm sure you'll be fine and it's not like there aren't any store is Florida so we'll manage and if anything the most important thing is that we are together don't you think." I grabbed his face and squeezed his cheeks together "Sometimes you say that most cringe things and I hate myself for loving them" he blushed a bit and pecked me on my forehead as I continued to squish his face. After reaching the airport I made sure to give the taxi driver a big tip as thanks for dealing with my overly packing boyfriend "You guys have fun now!" the taxi driver waved us bye as we entered the airport. I could see that Khalil was extremely nervous as his hands trembled uncontrollably so I grabbed onto his arm and rested my head on his shoulder "Don't worry too much it's not like we'll be gone forever. I know two years is a long time but like you said at least we're doing this together so make sure not to get too nervous." He rested his head on top of mine with his body finally relaxing and he was overwhelmed with a feeling of excitement "I am really nervous but I'm even more excited to see what life in Florida will be life especially when we become parents." He took his other hand and placed it over my stomach which made me feel so lucky and happy because if anything Khalil will be amazing Father so I didn't have to worry about him treating either of us badly. Our flight came in a speeding 5 minutes making us have to run to catch our flight since we didn't know we took so long tp get here. Khalil took the initiative to lift and carry me half way through since he refused to let his pregnant girlfriend run more than she had to. This guy even in a rush he was looking out for me I was so lucky to have him in my life, there was no way I'm letting him so again. As we got on the plane Khalil was making his way to commercial but I tugged at his shirt and signaled for him to follow me. I will always remember the dazzled look on his face as we took a seat in first class "A-are you sure that we are supposed to be here? This seems so extravagant!" I chuckled as I took his hand in mine "Yup I told you that my company is really well off I guess you didn't understand exactly what I meant." Khalil's jaw stayed open for a few moments before he regained his composure.
"This seems like a dream I mean these seats could very much be a bed with how large they are, there is so much luggage space, and IS THAT A CHOCOLATE FOUNTAIN!" I patted Khalil on the shoulders in an attempt to calm him down since he was now just swinging his head back and fourth naming all the different things that he sees. "Baby baby you're screaming you wouldn't want to disturb the other passengers now would you." After processing what I said Khalil quickly hid his face in his hands out of embarrassment for his reaction "That's my bad I didn't mean to be a disturbance!" I chuckled and pulled his hands from his face "There's no need to be embarrassed I actually found your reaction to be the cutest." Now this just made Khalil turn bright red as he tried to speak but all the was coming out were high pitched sounds until he finally pouted and turned his head towards the window so I wouldn't see how red his face was. Little did he know that his red color spread all the way to his ears so I didn't even need to see his face to know that he probably resembled a tomato right now. "I hope that our baby is just as cute. Don't you?" It was at this point that Khalil turned back tome he was still red as can be but he just grabbed my hand and gave it a gentle kiss "Well I just hope that whether a girl or boy our baby takes after you beauty because then I'll have two gorgeous angels to look at." Khalil was really a flirt now wasn't he "Okay okay I get it you can make me blush too now turn back to your window while I get us some food" I signaled for a worker to come our way "Oh are your alright madam? your face was quite red." I just stood there frozen I didn't think I was blushing that bad, meanwhile Khalil tried to contain his laughter with small chuckles freeing themselves from time to time. "Yeah- I'm- I'm fine just the heat you know heh." at this point I was just hanging my head low as I felt a cloud of embarrassment come over me while Khalil seemed to be on cloud nine.
For the rest of the flight Khalil and I played a series of games while teasing each other hear and there as if it were a competition and it sort of was. After a long two hours we finally arrived at Florida and when I say that Khalil looked like a little boy visiting a foreign country for the first time I mean it. As soon as we exited the plane he raced towards the windows to take in the view, he had both hands pressed on the glass as he stared at the landscape with literal stars in his eyes it was the cutest. I may have taken a few pictures of him without his knowledge but what he doesn't know what hurt him. I attempted to get our bags on my own so that Khalil could enjoy the view but it was as if he had razor sharp instincts that informed him whenever I was going to do something that required physical effort because not even a second after I grabbed the first bag he came out of nowhere and lifted everything himself. "Now what were you trying to do while my back was turned" I just gave him a sweet look and sighed as we made our way out the airport with our hands gently intertwined with one another. "Our house is pretty far from here so I should call a taxi." Khalil looked confused for a moment before asking me what I meant making me chuckle "What you didn't think we'd be spending two years in a hotel now did you? We are going to be raising a child here for a while might as well get a home of our our own don't you think?" Khalil's face lit up as I spoke and by the end he wasn't able to say anything as he just nodded and gave me a bright smile telling me that he is really fond of the idea as I thought he would. With this taxi there was the same struggle of getting all Khalil's things in the trunk but after that we were driven to or home and all through the ride Khalil was practically glued to the window as he took in all the scenery, I guess he really liked the feel of Florida. When we finally arrived at our home Khalil was once again left speechless as he looked the home up and down "That- That's - our-" I just smiled and nodded at him as he grabbed all the bags and ran inside our new home which I'll admit was a literal mansion, what can I say two years is a long time got to make sure that there's enough space.
"Love! Love! We have an indoor and outdoor pool! There's like 200 different rooms some of them are already decorated! OMG Is this an arcade it looks like we rented an entire plaza! Is that a hot tub and waterslide! How many water related things are in this place! UGH! I just slipped in the bowling alley! We have a bowling alley!" I couldn't help but burst out laughing as Khalil ran all around the house trying to discover everything "Don't go to far you might now to be able to find your way back." As Khalil continued to explore I took a seat on the sofa and relaxed for a bit before he slid his way in front of me "There are so many different rooms! There are maps plastered around the house! Our lawn and backyard are literally stretch hundreds of feet! I can't believe we get to live here it seems like a dream I don't even know if I'll be able to hang out in half of the rooms by the time we have to go! I- I-" at this point Khalil was panting as he tried to explain to me everything that he saw. "Okay okay sit down and relax you look like you just might drop from all this running around" with heavy pants Khalil threw himself of to me as he gripped my waist and snuggled against my stomach "The baby is going to have so much fun growing up in a place like this. His or her friends will probably be jealous and I wouldn't blame them this place is amazing. Not only that but we'll be the best parents so that they never feel neglected or misunderstood." I gave an uncertain smile which had Khalil to bolt up to his knees and give me a worried look "I-It's not that I'm not looking forward to being a parent but everything from giving birth, being a mother, having to find a balance between work and family kind of scares me. I don't have the same level of confidence as you and I sort of feel bad for not feeling as excited as you."
"Hey hey it's okay you'll be the one having to bring our baby into this world that may be the most painful moment of your life as for being parents if anything you'll have more to worry about then me no matter how hard I try to help so it's only natural that your more worried then me. I'd also be lying if I said that I wasn't having a bunch of doubts in the back of my mind but all I do is think about how we'll be in this together and all my worries calm are set to rest for a long while so don't stress it. I'll be here with you every step of the way along with Mom and Lilac, you'll never be alone." Khalil reached out his hand and rubbed my face making me feel at ease "Yeah, I'm never gonna be alone." After giving me a gentle kiss I laid on Khalil's chest and before I knew it we both fell asleep, I felt safe because I knew with Khalil around I had nothing to worry about. From that day forward Khalil and I were now officially living together and while it was a bit awkward at first we soon got used to each others routines and found our new normal. Turns out my assistance's calculations were way off or maybe its because I'm just that good because instead of 2 years it only took my 2 months to get our Florida assists in order and it was now fully functional. While this did give me the option to return home way before scheduled, I chose to stay because I enjoyed this time with Khalil and was actually looking forward to spending time in Florida raising a child together. There was also the fact that I was far away from everyone who I despised with all my heart the only down side was that while I did file for Jacob's and I's divorce because of all the legitimacy concerning our assets which were vast there was no fixed date of when the divorce would be finalized but I didn't really care seeing as it would be done and I had other things to worry about at the moment.
I said it once and I'll say it again with Khalil time really flew by, it seems like yesterday the we were attending our first few doctors appointments and getting our online classes set up. Now we have completed our online journey with me now being a week from 9 months pregnant it almost seems unreal to see that my stomach had grown to such an enormous size. Khalil wanted to be surprised of the baby's gender but I don't like surprises that much so I was in charge of planning the gender reveal. I'm not gonna spoil the surprise now but let's just say that I'll have the chance to use one of my favorite baby name choices. During our time in Florida Khalil and I made quite a few friends making keeping the baby's gender a secret a really difficult task especially since my girls really pressed me to get the gender out of me but all they got was teased as I spoke but caught myself before revealing the gender. For the baby reveal party I designed everything to be an outdoor barbeque type

For the next 2 months Khalil and I attended several doctor appointments and worked to get everything in order for the baby's arrival. Khalil's Mom and Lilac were a great help in this process as for how they found out well they overhead Khalil and I trying to figure out how we should tell them when they came for a surprise visit. I was expecting Khalil's Mom to be furious but it was the exact opposite as she jumped for joy and Lilac relentlessly rubbed my stomach. I really don't know what I would have done without her, she was the biggest help as she and Lilac accompanied us to shop, appointments, and just to receive advice from physicians on how to keep fit during my pregnancy. I have to say that Khalil was probably taking this whole pregnancy situation more serious than me with him buying heaps of baby formula even though I was still 7 months away from giving birth, signing up for father to be classes, and even taking some short doctoring courses all of which I found adorable.
For the next few weeks Jacob and I attended several meetings with our parents in order to sort out the legal matters concerning our marriage. The only remotely acceptable part of the agreement is that despite this union I am still the sole beneficiary of Mr. Hansson's company so at least I would have something of my own in this whole merge. During these days Jacob attempted to get close to me by taking me on dates, proposing movie nights, and a bunch of other romantic activities but I dodged it all and made it clear more than a million of times that this was purely business and I held no romantic feelings towards him. He even stooped as low as to try and get our parents to promote such behavior but whenever this would happen I would just put myself into a daze until they were done and ready to proceed with more important matters. Somewhere near the end of the legal procedures I began to experience morning sickness but seeing as I was under pressing amounts of stress I just dismi
As I neared the apartment I began to be overwhelmed with dread and this gut retching feeling that I was in for a huge problem. Turns out I was right and probably shouldn't have even opened the door cause the moment I did I was met by the dissatisfied looks on not only Jacob's face but also those of both our parents. My Father was the first to speak as he gave me a cold glare that made chills run down my spine "Well if it isn't my dear daughter it seems you have been making some irresponsible choices during the time we've been apart" as he said this Jacob's Father Daverick Hao cleared his throat making me certain that he would speak next. "Yes, and it would seem my son may also be at fault for your recent actions as he has informed us of your past plans" My eyes widened as I shot Logan a cold stare before turning back to face his Father "So? You know that we didn't want to get married if anything that should make you want to cancel-" but before I could finish Jacob's Mom cut in "
After walking for a few minutes we finally reached the hotel's entrance where we all stood in amazement. The building was almost 50 stories high, engravings that covered the series of pillars, and an illuminated sign that read 'Le Croissant-Lune'. Khalil's Mom went ahead to check us in and get the keys to our rooms with Khalil following closely behind since he knew that she would need help leaving me and Lilac in the lobby. "Hope, what does that sign mean? Is it a desert?" I chuckled as I bent down to pat her head "No, its French and it mean 'The Crescent Moon' which could very well be a desert. I mean I would definitely eat it." Lilac started to burst out laughing and soon enough we ended up strolled around the lobby since she got bored of staying in one place until Khalil and his Mom got back with the keys.Eventually Khalil and his Mom came back and the four of us separated to get settled in our rooms with Lilac staying with her mom and Khalil wi
