Welcome to the world

I said it once and I'll say it again with Khalil time really flew by, it seems like yesterday the we were attending our first few doctors appointments and getting our online classes set up. Now we have completed our online journey with me now being a week from 9 months pregnant it almost seems unreal to see that my stomach had grown to such an enormous size. Khalil wanted to be surprised of the baby's gender but I don't like surprises that much so I was in charge of planning the gender reveal. I'm not gonna spoil the surprise now but let's just say that I'll have the chance to use one of my favorite baby name choices. During our time in Florida Khalil and I made quite a few friends making keeping the baby's gender a secret a really difficult task especially since my girls really pressed me to get the gender out of me but all they got was teased as I spoke but caught myself before revealing the gender. For the baby reveal party I designed everything to be an outdoor barbeque type theme in memory of my Mom since she and I loved to host barbeques so while she wasn't here with me physically at least the theme will have her spirit to be here as Khalil finds out if he's having a girl or boy which I was sure would be the cutest thing. In order to give no hints as to the baby's gender I wore a white dress with blue and pink dots with Khalil wearing a blue and pink stripped shirt having seen me I could tell that Khalil was looking for hints in my outfit as to what the baby's gender will be. "Not gonna be that easy baby boy." I giggled as he made his way towards me "I know I know but it was worth a shot." He have me a kiss before kneeling and kissing my belly bump "Todays the big day little one Daddy's finally gonna find out if your a baby girl or boy." I couldn't help but smile as Khalil rubbed my stomach and put his ear close by as if trying to hear if the baby would tell him if they were a girl or boy. "Well come on there is no use stalling it's time you find out what our baby's gonna be and I can't hold in this secret for much longer so let's go before I burst!" Khalil laughed before standing up and intertwining his hand with mine as we made our way to the backyard where all our friends were waiting for us and enjoying some food."

"Finally I thought that you two were never gonna show up!" We both laughed as my best friend Samantha made her way towards us, she was an total fir cracker she wasn't afraid to do anything because as she says 'you only live once' but sometimes I feel like she's trying to end hers early since she once jumped off a steep cliff onto another ledge which almost gave her mom a heart attack but all she did was shrug and try to invite us all to join us in all her 'glory'. Except for things like that she's a very caring person who is loyal to the end and if anything she could be a model if she wanted to. She has full blond curls with touches of blue, an hour glass figure, light green eyes that seemed to glimmer in the sunlight, and an expensive taste for fashion I mean even now she was wearing only the finest blue designer dress. "Hey Sam looking stylish as always" she smiled as she gave in to give me a hug "You know it babe!" but when Khalil tried to extend out his hand she pulled him into a tight hug "Now there's no need to be shy hugs are free all year round!" yeah she wasn't the type to go along with the flow she did what she want when she wanted making her a ride or die friend, there is just not enough people like her in the world in my opinion. "Y-yeah but you're squeezing too tight I feel like I might go numb..." as Khalil said this his voice cracked mid way having both me an Samantha to burst out laughing with Khalil turning red from embarrassment "Now now leave my man alone he don't deserve this type of embarrassment on this special day!" with that voice came a well-built man with brown hair and a commercial worthy smile. "Hey Trevor" Trevor was Khalil's bestfriend the two of them often work out in the gym together talking about 'man business' but little does he know that Khalil literally tell me everything that they talk about even when I don't ask.

When it comes to Trevor he's basically the boy version of Sam and because of that he's the only one who can really match her carefree attitude. As he came closer to give us all hugs I could feel Sam tense up with her turning a slight shade of pink while pushing him away when it acme to her hug. "Now now Sam why are you pushing him away? or is it that you were looking for something else~?" I gave her a smirk as she shot me a deadly glare but it really wasn't that intimidating since her face was as red as can be "Nah it's okay with time I'll finally be able to win her over!" Sam scoffed before crossing her arms "Now look here pretty boy there is no winning me over I enjoy my freedom more than anything." With that Sam stuck out her tongue which made Trevor laugh as he became a slight shade of pink, yeah it was safe to say that I totally shipped them together but before I could tease Sam even further Khalil came up behind me and held me against his side "Now you guys are the ones who are holding things up. Come on I wanna find out my baby's gender!" we all laughed as I signaled for everyone to follow me to that middle of the yard where there a jet was parked from the crowd I could here a few mumbles of amazement which was always so funny to watch "Damn babe I know you told me you were loaded by damn!" I couldn't help but tear up as Sam circled the jet with Trevor following close behind "Come on you have to let the jet take off that way to reveal that baby's gender. The two of them quickly moved out the way and I gave the pilot a thumbs of telling him that it was okay to lift off to which he nodded and took off. Everyone's eyes remained glued on the jet as they waited for the dust to be ejected and when it did I can't describe the joyful looks on everyone's faces as they began to jump and cheer. It wasn't just blue dust but also blue balloons "WERE HAVING TWIN BOYS!!!" I screamed making everyone including Khalil jump in both surprise and joy since none of them knew that we were actually having 2 kids not just one. Khalil probably jumped the highest as he processed what I just said "Twins! TWINS! I'M HAVING TWO BOYS!!" he lifted me into his arms as he kissed my repeatedly, everyone was both shocked and overjoyed as they cheered nonstop.

When Khalil finally put me down he ran and chest bumped Trev who gave him the biggest bro hug and Sam ran towards me full force making us spin nonstop "OMG! Congratulations babe! I can't believe you having twins! Twins!" I couldn't stop smiling as I saw everyone continue to jump in joy. After we all finally calmed down we made our way back to the barbeque site to eat cake and share a toast, Khalil held me tightly as we both lifted our glasses in the air "I was expecting to have one joy brought into my life but as god would have it I was blessed with two! It's gonna be hard but I know that no matter what troubles come our way I will forever treasure the THREE angels in my life! To a new life!" Everyone raised their glass in the air "TO A NEW LIFE!" I of course was having water but as I drank I felt a popping sensation in my abdomen as water began to stream down my legs "UGH!" the pain was terrible as I grabbed onto Khalil for support "Love! Are you okay!?" I looked up at him with a mixture of fear and excitement "My water broke! The babies- THEY'RE COMING!" Everyone began to panic but soon regained their composure as Khalil yelled for everyone to calm down and help get me to a hospital. Trevor quickly got his keys from the table as Sam ran to get the baby supplies from the living room into his car. Khalil wasted no time in lifting me up and running towards Trevor's car.

The nearest hospital was 20 minutes away but with the pain I was in t seemed like an eternity. As we were in the car Khalil tried his best to keep me as calm as possible with Sam holding one of my hands from the front seat. Trevor was speeding past all the other cars with him yelling out the window a few times telling others to get out the way because 'PREGNANT WOMEN ABOUT TO BLOW' which made alot of people move out the way with some even congratulating me. This cut down the 20 minute trip to only 6 and when we arrived to the hospital they all ran inside with Khalil carrying me lightly in his arms. "I NEED A DOCTOR NOW! MY GIRLFRIEND IS GOING INTO LABOR!" and like the wind a sea of doctors came rushing towards us they made Khalil put me down on the wheeled hospital bed as they hooked me up to some machines. Without any time to waste I was rushed to a room that was filled with doctors Sam and Trevor weren't allowed inside any further than the hall so they waved Khalil and I goodbye and wished me the best to which I smiled through the pain and gripped  Khalil's hand tightly. Once we were in the room as if on cue my baby boys began making their way out it was the worst pain I had even felt. I thought I wouldn't be able to push through but Khalil was right by my side cheering me on as I gripped his hand tighter by the second "You got this Love! Just think about seeing our babies beautiful faces! Push through!" With the thought of bringing in two lives to the world I continued to push through without fail. Then after 4 hours of excruciating pain later I was brought to tears by the sound of the two cries of my healthy baby boys. I was able to hold them after the doctors had finished cleaning up and swaddling them, they were the most adorable little beans I'd ever seen. Having gotten a good look at them Khalil began to cry more than me as he rubbed his fingers against the babies faces "Here, you hold one." Seeing as the babies skin was still very delicate Khalil had to take off his shirt and hold the baby while in his tank top. "Their both beautiful, you did amazing love." He leaned towards me and landed a kiss on my head. Our two boys were the restless type as they wasted no time in opening their eyes giving us the surprise of our lives. You see the two boys took after me in terms of their skin being a light brown but both of them had different colored eyes, one ocean blue like Khalil and the other a light brown like mine it was the most beautiful thing I'd ever seen. The doctors couldn't quite explain what had happened but tests proved that they each had 20/20 vision so there was nothing to worry about. When I say that Khalil and I spent ages just staring at their eyes I really mean it, we just couldn't get enough of our babies smile as their eyes seem to glow in the sun light. After a while a nurse came in with the babies birth certificates "So what would you like to name them?"

Khalil's face quickly light up as he looked at me with puppy eyes making me give out a soft chuckle "Well we do have two names to pick so you can name the little angel in your arms" Khalil quickly shot himself up as he walked around the room carrying the baby in his hands. "I really liked the name Jayden. What do you think?" I smiled as I gave him a nod of approval "It actually makes our twins have more in common because I wanted to name this little one Jeremiah." Khalil's eyes lit up which I took it meant that he loved the name "So that settles it this little one with the right blue eye and left brown will be Jayden and our little bean with the right brown eye and left blue will be Jeremiah." The nurse gave us a sweet smile before writing down Jayden and Jeremiah's names "Ok I just need you to sign your names here and everything else will be taken care of for you." Khalil laid Jayden down on my chest before signing his name and taking the certificates in his hands he bends on his knees so that I could sign without getting up. Having done that Khalil got himself comfortable on the chair in the room and we just stayed in our place staring at our two little angels. I almost fell asleep but then the door swung open and as expected Sam and Trevor came running in to see the babies "LET ME SEE THE BABES" I let out a tired sigh as Sam hovered over me "You want to hold them?" Sam's face lit up as she quickly grabbed Jeremiah from my hands "Omg their eyes are beautiful and they are so cute!" Trevor held Jayden as they both paced around the room with Jayden and Jeremiah cooing in their arms. "Man dude your kids are gonna make me tear up." He wasn't lying either as I saw the jock Trevor turn into a soft potato "Not if I cry first" okay now before they made a competition out of crying Khalil took the babies from their hands and put them in the crib next to my bed.

Not even two seconds after being put down the two of them yawned and fell asleep with the cutest thing being that they held each others hand as they slept. With Jeremiah's other hand in his mouth and Jayden just having his other hand laid over his head. "Hey guys Hope is really tired so could you maybe visit tomorrow that way she has some time to rest" The both of them nodded and waved us goodbye before gently closing the door behind them. Khalil went on to get a blanket our of the baby bag and getting himself comfortable on the chair. Like the babies he yawned and quickly fell asleep while grasping my hand. I just chuckled before turning to the crib, who would have thought that September would be the lucky month for these two to be born. After looking at babies for a little longer I whispered to them before falling asleep myself "Welcome to the world, my little angels."
