Attack

"My lady please look out!" Prince Leon shouted as he helped me with this ferocious beast.

I was taken aback as the beast smashed it's tail at the ground making me lose my balance as the ground shake and cracked.

"Get back!" I shouted as Prince Leon was about to help me. 

If he help me now the mythical beast might become more agitated and attack us. I casted a spell that could make the ground go back to how it was. The beast was too strong and the fact that it's really going berserk is much crazier.

"Stay there!" I shouted as I saw Prince Leon trying to do something to help me, I can't take the risk for him to be hurt. If I can't take this serpent so is him. 

"You're facing me!" the serpent hissed as he slammed his head and burrowed to the ground, can this fight not get tougher? I just made the ground!

I tried to use my ability to locate some beast to help me but there was none in the area or anywhere near. This mythical beast really takes the cake. I can't fight head on with my ability but maybe the gods could help me.

"Jai!" I screamed the deity's name as I jumped to avoid the serpent's attack.

"My lady, that serpent isn't something you could defeat"

"I know so lend me your strength" 

"But that means you'll be in your original appearance"

"There's no time! I don't care about that now!" I said as the serpent began casting some earth spells. 

"But you'll have a hard time, you might even lose control" I clicked my tongue and focused on trying to defeat this beast. I know the disadvantages and advantages if the deity lends me his magic.

"We got no time about that, we'll surely die here" I said and avoided the attack of the beast.

"But-" I cutted him off by releasing my own magic, if he can't and won't help me I'll do this on my own.

"I'll rather be found out than die here with my knight!" I said while I felt my magic rushed through my whole being, my hair slowly returning to its original state and my eyes stingin for a while.

It was as if the magic that has been locked for many years now, it was a bit painful that I feel like my body won't be able to hold these rushing power but thank Dhaer that I didn't.  

"You-" I didn't let the beast finished what he was saying and attacked him with magic. I first thought that it would do no damage to him but he spat some blood and started to burrow again.

"...lady! My lady!" I could feel Prince Leon come near me, the magic that I just cast wasn't that strong to tire me but the sudden rush of magic took a greater effect.

"Beware, the beast hasn't been defeated he was just injured" I said as I slowly landed on the ground. 

'I have a great magic power but my body is restraining me'

"There's no time for that, we need to get out of here now my lady!" he said as he carried me and ran through the woods.

I was taken aback by what he just did, first it was rude for a man to do that to a lady and second it was just plainly rude!

"Put me down!" I exclaimed as I pushed his chest away from me, I was lucky enough to not fall to the  ground by my action.

"My lady! You can't even move and that beast would pretty much come back to attack!"

I shook my head and stood straight, if that beast would extinct then there's no bringing it back so I need to convince him.

"I need to talk to that beast" I said which made him stunned, I know this is dangerous but I want to save a life. Maybe if I could make that beast come to our side then we'll be much more powerful.

"But-" before he could finish what he was saying just like how the beast first appeared, the ground started to shake and the beast emerged from the ground all wounded.

Those wounds weren't from my nor Prince Leon's doing, I just barely scratch him so how did this happened? Did the men that hunted his tribe attacked him? Were other beasts ganged up on him?

"What happen-"

"YOU DAMN HUMAN!" the beast hissed making me shocked and unable to move a single muscle. 

It started to hiss so bad until a black magic circle appeared in front of its mouth, I could feel how the atmosphere is getting more heavier as each second pass by. Just how strong is the magic he’s casting!?

“Get back!” I pushed Prince Leon as the attack started to go towards us, I readied myself for the impact and I was not wrong because the impact made me kneel.

The magic itself was heavy and really compact but with the burst that the beast made it become so difficult to stop, I must thought I must get burned by this.

“My lady!”

“Please help me Deity” I begged as I felt how the barrier is starting to crumble bit by bit, it was also becoming painful as if the venom of the beast itself is entering my body through my skin.

I could feel how my skin stings from the magic and how I’m shedding tears, it stings, it hurts and it’s unbearable.

The deity’s magic circled me and green light started to cover my body, as if it engulfed me to a hug and the pain started to go away but the wounds wouldn’t close.

“Please listen to me” I begged the beast but before it could answer a spear flew through his head and the beast started to fall eyes open.

I was shocked that I couldn’t move, if it weren’t for Prince Leon carrying me away to fled maybe I could have been stuck there staring at the beast’s body.

Somebody took the chance, they waited for the beast to stop and killed him… did they saw me? Why would they do that? The beast’s tribe is extinct!

I slowly stared at nothing as my tears started to fall.
