Mythical Serpents

"How's this fitting to you taste, milady?" Sir Ceao said as he guided me to one of the seats near the shade.

"Well it is nice" I said and sipped the tea he offered me, I was just plainly watching each lady send the knights away.

"Won't you be joining the hunt?" I asked him as I looked up, he is still by my side.

"Do you want me to?" He asked me smiling that threw me off, I thought he's here because he'll be joining the hunt?

"Aren't you here because you're joing the hunt?" I asked him.

"No, I just went here to accompany you milady" he said, now I can't go somewhere when he's accompanying me.

"Oh no! You should enjoy the hunt with other knights!" I exclaimed which shook him.

"Pardon?" He asked and went infront of me.

"You should go!" I said clapping my eyes, maybe this will work.

"Do you want me to bring you a beast back?" He hesitantly asked me with a smile.

"Well if you.. could?"

"Well then I will" he said and started walking away.

I guess he doesn't need my farewell, Sir Ceao is a great knight so he'll just do fine.

I was just enjoying the view of the nobles just muttering with each other and them acting so special.

I think it was already half an hour before I stop watching the nobles and decided it's time to do what I came here for.

"Where are you going?" I was startled by that voice, the voice I really hate.

"I was just about to roam" I said smiling at her and a few of her friends?

"You're really curious huh?" She asked as if she's pertaining to how ignorant I am.

"Yes, I haven't been in a place like this" I said and looked around as if I'm really curious about the whole place.

They all sneered as if I'm someone so dirty or something unpleasant.

"You're really a countryside bumpkin" she laughed as if what she said is really funny and I'm really amazed how the others with her could laugh at something that isn't humorous.

I didn't mind then at the end because I really need to do something much more important than them.

'Jai' I called out using my mind and soon after the green light floated in front of my face.

"Are you going to do it now my lady?" He asked and the green light made its way to my shoulder.

'Yes, there's few knights patrolling and nobles arr busy chattering. They won't notice me leave' I was already smiling from ear to ear when I approached a tent and went behind it.

"Would you like to keep this outfit?" I shook my head because I won't be able to jump or ran with this dress.

Jai's green light made out of magic encircled me from my feet to my head and my dress changed into a combat outfit.

Magic's really handy and cool, if you want to change you outfit without wasting energy just do this.

'Thank you Deity' I was just so happy, adrenaline's rushing through my veins.

"You can now go, this outfit is made out of my magic and contains concealing magic" he said and the light landed on my right shoulder "You will only need to keep mg magic alive using your own"

I nodded and excitedly rushed to the area where the knights left. It was really cool that the nobles nor the Imperial Guards didn't noticed me.

I just casually walked to the hunting grounds, it wasn't even that hard to keep Jai's magic alive because my own magic was overflowing from not being used.

"Now where should I go?" I asked myself as I was faced with a sign, it points at the two paths in front of me.

The right path leads to the top of the mountain where flying beasts are and the left path leads to the mountain's forest where walking beasts are.

Are there mythical beasts here? Like the phoenix and dragons?

Well magic is possible here so maybe there are beast like that.

I decided to follow the path where the walking beasts are, climbing a mountain would talk so much more effort so I'll just enjoy walking.

I was getting far from the signage when I heard a sword slashing a skin and someone groaning out of pain.

I was just about to leave and not mind it when a sword was now aimed at my neck! I thought Jai's magic would conceal me from someone weaker than me?

Does that mean the person behind me is much stronger? I gulped and tried to come up with an explanation.

"What are you doing here?" I heard Prince Leon's voice! So that prince is really here!

"You dare ask me that when you just aimed your sword at my neck?" I scoffed and crossed my arms as I turned around to face him.

"I wasn't able to recognized this magic" he explained as he put the sword back to the sheath and raised both of his arms.

"Well strong knight this magic is from a deity" I said and gestured my hands as if I'm showing a new dress.

"Deity huh? You got yourself a deity now" how could he have that attitude as a prince?

"Sit" I said with a serious voice, he imediately sat like a dog because of our blood oath.

Now look who's talking.

"I'm sorry my dear lady" I rolled my eyes at his remark and decided to walk away. I'm going to left him there sitting like a dog.

It won't be my business when other knights see him like that and he has magic to depend himself from beasts so this will be okay.

"Are you seriously leaving me like this?!" He shouted which I didn't mind, I just walked like he's the one with concealing magic.

"If you walked down that path you'll encounter the mythical serpents!" What he said made me stopped half way of my tracks, I quickly ran towards him and squatted in front.

"Mythical what?"

"So now your interested?" He rolled his eyes.

"Tongue out" now he looks like a dog waiting for a treat.

"Stop this"

"Stop first with your attitude"

"Yes my lady" when he said that I immediately let him go, I wasn't planning to but he still needs to do his job as a knight sadly.

I started to walk down the way he said where mythical serpents are but stopped immediately. I felt the strong pulse of inhumane magic aura!

It was think and murderous too! This must be it! The mythical serpents!
