"Get back my lady" Prince Leon said as he pushed me behind him.

The magic aura is getting stronger as time pass by, Prince Leon then grabbed his sword and got in offensive stance. 

"Is this it?" I asked as I felt the magic aura more, it was really inhumane and so murderous. 

I could also feel how heavy it was, one second we were standing straight and now the earth's shaking nonstop.

"Just stay behind me my lady" Prince Leon pushed me more as he anticipates for the beast's appearance.

"Do you belittle me now? Don't you know who I am?" I asked with a smirk, he is really protective of me now.

"No! It's just that..." I chuckled as he tries to find the right response. 

I just pushed him and stand beside him, I'm really curious about what this beast it. He did say it was a mythical beast.

How big are they and what powers do they even have? Are they like the phoenix? 

I was in a deep thought when the earth stopped shaking and a big scaled armored snake rose from the ground. It was hissing and glaring at us. 

What did we even do to this guy? It's like killing us already with its stare.

"Foolish humans!" it said which I'm guessing that Prince Leon did not heard, after all I'm the only one who is gifted to hear any living.

"You should get away now" I said as I pushed Prince Leon to my back and blocked the serpent's attack. 

I'm not really planning to fight with this snack, I'm just simply here just to enjoy a talk or two with any beast. I sighed and cast a restraining magic to the beast but it didn't work.

Was my magic too weak? Or was it just too strong that I couldn't even restrained it?

"We should get going" I said as I grabbed Prince Leon's collar and dragged him with me as I jumped high to avoid the serpents spit.

It could have been really bad if I didn't jump that high or fast, the area where the serpents spit hit slowly melts as if acid was poured on it.

"Whoa..." I said as I landed on top of a tree, I got Prince Leon down and view how that serpent is looking for us. 

"That must be one of the elders" he said as he scans the length of that beast. 

It's really big and I bet that with one sweep of its tail hundred of trees would fall down. It was that big that the earth was shaking because of its move.

"Should I kill him?" he asked and pulled out his sword, he even coated it with magic. 

I pushed his sword down and shook my head, if we kill that mythical serpent I'm sure that its clan would make a wreckage to find a new elder.

"I'll talk him out" I said and stared at the beast who's now moving the opposite way of us.

"What? Talk 'him' out? How did you know its a 'him'!? Wait- how did you even know how to talk to beast?" he said as he grabbed my elbows stopping me from going down the tree.

"Did you just forgot who I am? I'm the most gifted child!" I exclaimed and flicked his forehead like a kid. 

"I know but the prophecy said earth would recognize you and flowers would hide away from your beauty as they are incompatible! It never said you could talk with beast!" He exclaimed and shake me. 

Does he even think that the beast would hear his loud voice? I'm actually gifted and the prophecy's child but he doesn't seem to believe!

"God Dhaer! Leon I'm gifted to talk with any living! I could even talk with someone like you! Where's your composure now?" I said as I pinched the bridge of my nose from his statements.

I am seriously getting headaches from his voice. 

Before he could answer me, the earth shake and now the mythical beast is coming our way. That is thanks to our shouting voice.

"Stay here!" I shouted and made the tree grabbed onto him. 

I jumped down the tree as if it was not 7 or 9 feet tall. I was just walking like nothing is about to happen and the mythical beast just stared at me as I walk towards him.

"You really are a foolish human!" he said as he hissed at me and plunged, I only dodge him and laughed. 

"No I am not as foolish as you" I said and crossed my arms, the beast looks like he was taken aback by what I said.

"You-" I cut him off as I know what will he say.

"Yes I could talk with someone or something like you" I said and inattentively looked at him, he was really bewildered by the thought that I could talk with someone like him. 

He even moved closer to see my oh so frail structure and eyed me as if I was a doll or something.

"Are you by any chance what they call the 'prophecy's child'?" He said as he towered me with his shape and now the shadows of him engulfed me.

"Yes I am" I said and as soon as I answered he attacked me, he dare to attacked me even if I was just not done answering his questions.

"You will die!" he said as he attacked me as if there was no tomorrow. I just dodged them all because using my magic can't stop this thing!

"Can you calm down first!? I don't even know you!" I said as I ended up using flight magic, now I just hover on top of me.

"You're the one who killed my kind! You said to kill my kind!" he shouted and the whole forest shook.

The earth from my view is shaking not stop as if it was ready to split into halves and few trees are now starting to fall down. Birds are flying away from their resting place and even small animals and beings that looked like beast flew the away.

What did he just say? I 'ordered' to kill his kind? Could that mean that he's the only one left? 

But I think I knwow who's the real reason behind why he's kind was killed, there's only one person who I knows love to be the 'prophecy's child'.
