“You are now officially known throughout the whole empire, milady” Prince Leon said while we’re inside the carriage.

“I must say, it was a delightful scenery” I said.

The moment I was introduced everyone was shocked even the Emperor, father then made a whole different story for the empire to believe.

He said that at time, there were assassin that haunted us and that they killed the duchess so he needed to hide me. Well, everyone almost believe that but few are kind of suspicious.

I could even feel the fuming madness from my dear sister and step mother. I wasn’t able to see Sir Ceao on the room with step mother, I only saw him when I was officially introduced.

He was shocked that I’m with Prince Leon or maybe because I was able to attend the ball. I don’t know but now, I get a fishy vibes with Sir Ceao.

“Well then, rest well milady” Prince Leon said after the carriage has stopped in front of the Esquello Household.

Prince Leon got out first to open the door for me, we bid our goodnights and goodbye’s. Prince Leon asked for the coachman to drop him off to the academy.

I watched as he carriage disappear in the dark after that I decided to enter the house, it was silent meaning that everyone now is asleep.

I arrived earlier than father and the two wanna be’s, I decided then to not wake anyone up and just bathe myself. I’m sure that Lucia and the others are quite exhausted from earlier.

It was like a whole day to prepare me for a one night party, it wasn’t even that exciting because we just ate and danced then associated ourselves with other nobles who’s hungry for power.

I made my way to my bedroom and picked my night gown, after that I walked to the bathroom and prepared myself a bath.

It was so relaxing that I even felt the stress of my years living in here lifted off my whole being.

After bathing I quickly dried my hair using magic and changed into my night gown. As I was making my way back to my room, I heard a carriage stopped in front of the entrance.

I quickly ran to my room and left my room slightly ajar so I could hear their talking. I even made my presence invisible like what Prince Leon did when I fought that bandit.

I hear footsteps that belong to what seems like four people, I’m guessing it was father, the Second Miss, the Mistress and Sir Ceao.

A door opened and closed for a moment then I heard what seems like the Mistress’ voice.

“You should think about my offer” she said and a coughed followed it.

“I shall, Mistress” it was Sir Ceao’s voice that answered!

After that, one of them made its way downstairs the who seems to be Sir Ceao. The Mistress and the Second Miss didn’t say any word and just entered their rooms.

What offer is it? What are they planning? How could Sir Ceao not decline quickly?

I closed my door completely and laid down to my bed. My head was bothered by things I heard a while ago until I fell asleep.

I was just awoken by the door swinging open and the curtains being pushed aside that made the sunlight hit my eyes directly.

“Rise and shine, milady. Today you need to practice your swordsmanship and read your letters” before I could open my eyes Lucia pulled the sheets off my body and made me stand and washed my face half asleep.

“What do you mean letters?” I asked curiously as I’m drying my face using the towel now regaining my full consciousness.

“Letters from other nobles!” I groaned at what Lucia said.

“Can we just throw them out?” I asked her hoping to just not meet any nobles anymore, I’m feeling the same feeling of Prince Leon facing the other nobles.

“No, no! This is the chance for you to find a friend” Lucia said while shaking her head, she’s now arranging my hair into a two French braid.

“I’ll try” I groaned again making my annoyance with other nobles more noticeable.

Lucia just chuckled at me as she help me with my hair and dress.

She made me wear an emerald green dress with white details. I could feel that Lucia really enjoys dressing me like a doll.

After that, I made my way to the dining area where father and the two are eating their breakfast already. I could even tell that the Second Miss isn’t happy at my presence.

“Good morning, father, step mother and sister” I smiled as I sat down at father’s left side facing the Mistress.

“It was good” I don’t know if I should tell him later what I heard or just leave it at my own hands.

“Well, I heard from Lucia you have a lot of letters to answer” he chuckled which also made me chuckle, I swear I even heard a groan from the Second Miss.

“She told me that too as soon as I woke up” I answered enjoying the moment of pissing my dear half sister off.

“But, dear daughter, how did you know Sir Leon?” the Mistress asked me with a curious tone. They’re really opportunistic.

“Ohh, we met at the hidden household” I answered not mentioning how I faced a bandit.

“Is that so? Why not introduce your sister some time?” she asked while wearing that annoying smirked.

“I’ll try, he’s really busy at the academy” I said which made them look like they won the lottery.

I would really introduce my half sister but I’m really sure that Prince Leon would be an asshole towards her, like he did to me!

After that breakfast I was immediately helped by Lucia to change my clothes to the clothes I use for training.

“Greetings First Miss” Sir Ceao bowed to me as if nothing happened, everything was just so casual.

I didn’t answered him and just bowed, we practiced from the basics to the sword style of the Esquello until Lucia said there was a visitor for me waiting in the waiting room.
