THREE.

Charlotte POV.

          When i was 5,  i always wished to marry a very handsome,  tall prince and live as a princess in a far faraway kingdom. And we would have a dozen of children and we will live happily ever after. When i was 10,  i wished to be  the prettiest girl ever,  and marry the man of my dreams. At 15, i wished to be the best,  top model ever and live happily. At 20,  i just wanna live being who i am,  get pregnant,  have a boy. No offense,  girl,  and watch him grow,  marry and have grandkids. And we'll forever be  happy.

But now,  i just want to get this over with,  marry,  get pregnant,  give birth. And when my mom die, i will get a divorce and  get possession of my son and run away. I smiled at my mom as she gave me one.

We arrived at the The Gardenia Kingdom. It was a beautiful kingdom with gardens.

"Wow!!" I said. It was just so pretty and looked so unreal cause of the magnificent sight. I smiled,  maybe staying here for the next two years won't be bad. The palace itself is huge and big. And sooo beautiful.

"Amazing!!" I said.

"I told you its a  wonder!!" My mom said.

"Its not that beautiful!!" I lied. I just didn't want my mom to know i loved the place. What was even making me happy was the fact that i would have beautiful dresses. I'll have maids lining up for me. This is gonna be  hella fun!! I smiled.

We got out of the limo,  trust my mom to always be extra and show off. I sighed and we walked in,  my mom looking expensive in her black dress and stilettos.

"Don't slouch!!" She said. I rolled my eyes.

"I'm a goddamn model Lacey!!" I said and she nod.

"I don't expect any curse words till we leave!!" She said.

"Oh please,  me agreeing to all these is already a huge effort from me. So please,  anything i do to enjoy my moment,  don't stop me!!" I told her and we walked in silence as we  leave.

Our names were announced before we were ushered in. I looked up walking with all the confidence i had in the world. There were very long stairs. And it was one  thing. Beautiful.

"Lorraine!!" My mom said,  i turned to see a  woman and a man. Okay,  the man was handsome and  old. Maybe around his late 40's. The woman looked elegant and beautiful. Judging by how beautiful they look,  i can't wait to see the prince. I smiled as my mother hugged the woman.

"Lacey. It has been a  while!!" She said and pulled away.

"Of course. Xerxes. As handsome as ever!!" She said.

"And  you are still the beautiful woman i know. And who is this pretty looking woman?" He asked my mom.

"Oh,  this is my daughter. Charlotte. Charlotte,  meet your future in-laws, Lady Lorraine,  Queen of Gardenia and Xerxes,  King of Gardenia!!" Mom said. Where the hell did Grandma know her? I gave my killer smile and sighed. Time to turn your charm up Char.

"Its an honor meeting you your highness!!" I said. The Queen sized me up.

"Are you sure she's  a model?" She asked. I scoff and my mom gave me a shook.

"Yes i am!!" I said. My mom looked at me.

"Your highness!!" I added. She gave me a look before smiling at my mom and put her hands in her husbands.

"Why don't you settle down?" She said. I almost rolled my eyes but i slightly nod. Why can't we  just cut to the chase,  and i wait for two years before leaving.

"Oh and Miss Charlotte!!" The husband,  King Xerxes said and i turned.

"Welcome to Gardenia!!"

I looked at the food in front of me. After five years of living alone, I've never  really seen this much food. Unless,  my parents decide to have a 'family' gathering,  which always ended up in fights, that consisted of many food. I looked up to see my mom laughing with what Queen Lorraine said. I noticed a lot of hatred between those two but they were just laughing being hypocritical to each other. Only the King had a kind face and seemed to dislike all what the women had been saying. Finally,  the room was silent and i was happy. I wished i was home,  eating pizza and wine and sleeping on the couch watching TV or looking at my instagram or going to work and  trying to see if i can get a role in a movie,  I've done it before and it was a  huge success. So with that I'm hoping for another. I should phone Joshua and ask him what's up!!

".... Charlotte!!" Mom said. I looked at her.

"Sup?" I said.

"King Xerxes asked you a question!!" She said.

"Oh my God,  I'm sorry,  i was  thinking!!" I said.

"About how delicious the food is?" Queen Duh duh asked. Lorraine. Whatever.

"No,  I've eaten better." I replied giving her a tight smile. I turned to king Xerxes.

"I have  your full attention your highness!" I said.

"Thank you. I was apologizing for the tardiness of our son!! Lately,  he has been too busy!!" He said.

"Oh,  its okay your highness!!" I said. On the negative side,  the prince can have an accident and  i won't be able to marry him. Yay!! But on the  good side,  i would do this for my bitch of a mom who i won't say i lo....,  you know what forever. Even if she dies. You're kidding Charlotte. You know you lo.....,  nah i just can't say it.

"Thank you." He said and continued eating.

"What did you study in college?" Queen Lorraine asked.

"I uhmm,  went to Paris to study fashion!!" I replied. Those fun days,  i also learnt how to dance. I had a  hot teacher then. So talented. So dreamy.

"You didn't go to College?" She asked.

"I did. To study fashion!!" I replied.

"And did you graduate?" She asked me.

"She was top of her class Lorraine!!" Mom replied. I didn't expect her to say that, she never liked my decisions. And more so,  why is she answering for me making me feel like I'm incompetent to answer my questions.

"Oh well. Xerxes,  don't you think our son deserves someone better?" She asked. I scoff.

"Lorraine,  i think that is for later!!" He said giving her a warning with his look.

"I'm just saying!!" She said and drank her wine. Oh,  that lady and i aren't gonna hang out much!!

"M......."

"My daughter  would prove you wrong!!" Mom said. She has  to stop it.

"I don't have to prove  anything Mom. I didn't want to come here anyway!!" I said.

"Oh darling,  enlighten me on this. Why won't you want to marry a  prince?" She asked. I gave her a sly smile.

"Well that is because unlike you i don't marry for riches!!" I said.

"Unlike me?"

"You thought of your statement!! That means if you were on the same situation. You were going to do exactly what you just said!! Why won't you marry a  prince?" I said back.

"I was trying to protect my son from golddiggers!!" She said. I choke on my food.

"Golddigger? I'm a  Gallager,  we are Gallagers. We don't need money!!" I said.

"You're just using your fathers name!!" She said.

"That is why i am a model!! I work for my money,  I'm dependent and hell competent!!" I said and took my wine.

"Your highness!!" I said with a smile and  sipped my wine. Victory sure tastes good.

"Father,  Mother,  sorry I'm late!!" I heard a voice. Sure well its husky and  sounds sexy. Please let him be  handsome. Please let him be handsome......,  please. My hesrt sinked. She wants me  to marry this.....,  this......,  Guy? I looked at my mother, oh she did good. Scratch the divorce papers and plans. I'm sticking with this hottie. I just pray he looks beautiful inside as he is now. He had brown hair. The hair alone is a  major turn on. It was long,  a little bit reaching the shoulders. He had brown warm seyes. Tall,  sexy lips. Oh my God!! He wore a  white shirt and black trousers. His shirt,  his muscles was begging to be  free as it exposed his total awesomeness. Gosh!! He rolled the shirt to his elbow. Shit,  this man is driving me crazy!! Can we just skip to the  wedding night? Oh dammn!! Charlotte you got a  hottie. Mom you did good.

".... Look stressed!!" Lorraine said. Wow,  she looked so worried. I guess the only person she  loves is her son. Her very very hot son. He  took after his mom's brown hair and fathers look. Everything else was  from his father.

"Rough day today Mom,  rough day." He said and he sighed.

"Excuse me,  i want to wash up!!" He said and chuckled.

"You don't want to come near me!!" He said and left. Okay....,  that was,  that was it? No introduction. Do princes behave like that? No,  they don't. Have i met one before? My phone rang and i checked the id. Priscilla. Oh,  there's so much to tell her.

"Excuse me,  i have  to get this!!" I said and walked to a  corridor,  which led to a transparent glass door to the garden. I picked the call.

"Hey Cilla."

"Hey girl. Joshua told me everything!!" She said.

"I'm sorry. My mom was just having some crazy ideas recently. Get ready though Cilla,  you would be my chief bridesmaid!!" I told her.

"So its true!!" She yelled.

"Yes. I'm getting married. You have  to see that guy!!" I said and looked around.

"I'm listening!!"

"He's cute,  hot,  my mom might be worse with a lot of things,  but when it comes to guys,  i think shes a  pro!!" I said.

"Yeah,  take a look at your dad!!" She said.

"Hey!!"

"What? Its true. So tell me in details everything that happened!!" She said.

"Fine,  so ....." I told her everything and she squealed. I scoffed.

"I'm totally in for wedding night!!" I said.

"You're such a bitch do you know that?" She asked.

"I know. I'm not you!!" I said.

"Hey, what is that supposed to mean?" She asked.

"What it is supposed to mean is that have you called Dylan for the past two days?" I asked her.

"I am over Dylan!!"  She cried.

"Fine. I'm not gonna say anything." I said rolling my eyes.

"Don't you roll your eyes at me!!"  She said.

"Gosh you know me to much!!" I said.

"If i don't know your expressions and character,  i don't think i would've been able to survived all these years being your bestie!!" She chirped.

"How is your internship going?" I asked her. Unlike me,  Cilla wants to be a surgeon. And Dylan is a film maker slash actor.

"Better,  seems like all the doctors are having issues. They've  become so snappy!!" She said.

"Don't worry,  you'll be  out of there soon. And......,  oh my God,  i think i have  to go. I've spent so much time." I said.

"The Queen is gonna be so maaad!!" She said.

"She can rot in hell for all i care!!" I said.

"Just chill. And don't always give a reaction to everything!!" She said.

"Yes Mom!!" I said.

"Your Mom is in there waiting for you,  go. Plus...., say hi to handsome for me!!" She said.

"Oh i will!!" I said and  ended the call. I sighed as i looked myself in the camera. Okay!! I sighed and walked in,  as they heard my footsteps. They turned their heads on me. I strutted and gave a  killer smile,  i sat on my chair and turned to Mrs. Angry and Mr. Handsome highness.

"I'm so sorry for the delay your highness!!" I said and the king nodded.

"That's alright!!" The king said.

"She used almost an hour!!" The Queen said. I didn't even use ten minutes. Who are  you kidding Char,  you were talking to Cilla. Of course you used up to thirty minutes.

"It is alright!!" He said. Thank you!!

"Charlotte. Meet my son....,  Xavier!!" He said. What a sexy name!! I turned to him,  he was now wearing a black top and black trousers. Looking so hot!! Oh God!! He's driving me crazy!! He smiled and i returned it.

"Its a  pleasure meeting you!!" He said.

"The feeling is mutual!!" I said and he gave me a grin before looking at his parents.

"I have to go now,  please excuse me!!" He said and left. Wow!! I looked at my phone screen. I look good!! Then why....,  oh hell whatever!!

The next day,  i woke up and  stretched. Uhmm. I went to the bathroom and had my bathe,  i brushed my teeth and wore black tight jeans and green tank top and boots that reached my knees.  I straightened my hair and  did my nude make up. Nice!! I looked chic. I grabbed my jacket and my phone,  keys and handbag. I'm gonna paint the town red!! I went out and walked down.

"Uhmm,  Charlotte!! Where are you going to?" I heard my mom.

"Uhmm,  town,  if i wanna live here for the rest of my life,  i gotta know a lot of places!!" I told her.

"What about the wedding preparations?" She asked.

"What wedding? Oh....." I laughed..

"Mine!! I'm not a wedding planner Lacey!!" I said.

"Well do you really want me to set this up? I know you won't....."

"What's the difference mom?" I asked.

"You've planned my life anyway so you can continue planning it. I...., " and i wore my glasses.

"Am gonna  have fun!!" I said and walked away.

"Charlotte!! Charlotte!!" My mom yelled but all fell to deaf ears. She should know by now that i don't listen to whatever she says. She  said it herself that i do the opposite of whatever she said i shouldn't do,  and the only thing i didn't break was taking drugs and marrying that prince. Yeah,  he's that prince now.

"This is so pretty!!" I said and grabbed it. I paid for all of them and went to my car and drove off. My next stop was the library. Wow!! I went in,  i wasn't a major book fan,  but i get to do something other than getting fat. Oh i must not get fat,  I'm ruined!!

I went to the romance section and i picked a book,  revealing a  figure. Xavier? He frowned and i waved. And he did one thing,  walk away. I scoffed and laughed,  this is so funny. I am not doing anything!! Hell no. I took a  lot of books,  uhmm....,  let me look at this section. I entered and what i saw shocked me. Xavier was giving this girl goo goo eyes.

"What about this book Xavier?" The girl asked.

"It would perfect!!" He said and smiled at her,  a very very beautiful one. He has not giving me that smile. Hey you only know him for a day,  infact,  hours. But I'm his fiancee!! They both turned to look at me. I broke into a  smile.

"Hi!!" I said. His face dropped when he saw me. Oh,  he's getting on my nerves.

"Are you following me?" He asked.

"Me? Follow you? Hell no!!" I replied.

"Who is she?" The girl asked.

"I'm Charlotte Gallager,  Xavier's fiancee!!" I said. She looked at me and Xavier.

"Oh,  this is 'she'?" The girl asked.

"Yes. Unfortunately!!" He replied.

"I'm Marya. Xavier's best friend!!" She said. Oh....,  best friends?

"Nice to meet you!!" I said and turned to the books.

"Why are you guys so harsh on each other?" She asked. Oh please,  ask her. But the next statement from Xavier made my heart sank.

"Because she's not my fiancee and a stranger!!" He said and walked out. I turned and saw the girl.

"Bye!!" She said and walked away too. The nerve!!!! Oh,  if only he stayed here,  i would've. I would've.....,  oh the game is on. And by the time I'm done with him. He'll know no one messes with Charlotte Gallager!!

"You're home!! You missed breakfast!!" The king said.

"Oh,  i am so sorry. I just wanted to go to town and get familiar with it a little. I'm so sorry!!" I apologized.

"It's alright!! So tell me,  where did you go to?" He asked.

"Well....,  the mall,  the library,  the bakery,  the park. Oh the bakery!! Delicious foods!!" I said. He laughed.

"Interesting. It seems like you're getting used!!" He said.

"Well...., a little!!" I said and he nod.

"That's fine. There is a ball tomorrow night, and you will be  accompanying Xavier,  coming in as his fiancee." He said.

"Can't we come separate!! I mean....." He broke into a smile.

"My son isn't the most nicest in the world,  he can be  stubborn to sometimes. But,  i need you to be patient with him!!" He said.

"I will try!!" I said.

"That's the spirit!! Do you want to walk your old man to the garden?" He asked.

"Sure!!" I said. He clapped his hands and two maids rushed in.

"Take her bags to her room!!" He said. I gave  them everything.

"Thanks!!" I said. And he smiled as he walked forward and i walked behind. Maybe I'm good with Dads. Women.....,  blergh!! Have problems. Except Cilla though. She is an exception. We've been friends since 5 and always sticked with each other creating a serious bond and i know that bond won't be broken anytime soon.
