I am freaking out as I have been dialing the same number for the tenth or more times. I know that the user whom I have been calling will not pick up my call. Because that idiot might have been drunk or still having last night's hangover. Yet I am calling HIM cause I don't have any f*cking options.
I hold my phone tightly in despair and spitfire to it as if someone was listening from the other side. " Pick up the damn phone you a**hole. Argh.... "
And that asshole is none other than my friend and colleague. Even today I don't know why and how that moron is my friend. But yeah he is..!! What a misfortune..!!??
It was James Da 'Costa.
Or -- " THE James Da 'Costa " would be a more appropriate title for that narcissist.
But woefully he is the only son of our CEO Mr. David Da 'Costa.
James Da 'Costa.
He is all opposite to his father. He is highly an incautious creature. Who is really incurably intoxicated and even negligent in many of the cases. Like in today's case. I have literally texted him hundred of times that his presence is needed in today's board meeting. And the calls are exceptional.
But no...!! that self-centered piece of sh*t is ignoring all of my phone messages and calls. I don't know what to do with him nor do his father know.
He had the audacity to be audacious. He is everything that a father doesn't want.
But how can he even dare to miss today's meeting? He knows how important this collaboration is for our company's future. His company's future. But even then..!!! Such an a**hole.

I gathered my courage to open the meeting room's door. As everyone was waiting for him. And I was told to call him and bring him to the meeting. But.... but I fail.
Huff... I take a deep breath and opens the door and enter in, everyone's eyes are on me. But obvious. I have already expected that.
All those eyes were asking just one question, ' Where is Mr. James??? '
I cursed him in my mind, ' You f*cking narcissist, you will pay for this. You just wait and watch. '
While shaking my head I expressed with a gloomy face, " I'm sorry to let you people down but I tried to call him several times but... he is out of reach. "
Mr. David Da 'Costa whose head was down, look up and asserted in an affirmative tone, " Well then it will be more convenient for us to start this meeting without him. Let's don't dawdle away our time. "
After hearing this, I turned back towards the door to leave but soon Mr. David stops me. And says, " Jennifer, it will be our pleasure if you join this meeting. Please take your seat here. "
He completed his sentence which was more like a statement while gesturing me to seat right next to him which was James' place.
' Ohh... but Sir that's your son's place...!! ' My inner voice speaks up. But I didn't let it out loudly.
Mr. David has been in a wheelchair for over six months. At this age and in such a condition he still has to work on behalf of his son and even has to endure for his son's deed. Sometimes I really pity him.
I don't want to make him anxious which is he already is. So without any further ado, I enforced myself to sit on the chair which was right next to him.
He genuinely smiles and nodded at me. As if saying to me that it's all okay. I was bewildered that no one dares to oppose him in that.
Gee...!!
Though I still don't know why did Mr.David give me such a great privilege to attend the ' BOARD MEETING. '
