Chapter 16:   empty in all FULLNESS... 

Ryan's POV:

" Ufff... " I sign in relief by taking a deep breath after completing my work of the day. Once again I was occupied by work for the whole day and passes away with restlessness. After closing my laptop, I walk out of my office and moves towards my private elevator, pretty exhausted.

Zack comes from behind and stops me. I turn towards him while undoing my waistcoat buttons. 

" Sir, Miss Scarlett has called me numerous times right from this afternoon. " He informed. 

Now, what that fucking wh*re want. Quite recently she is badgering me. I usually kept changing my wh*res but her..!! I don't know what I regard for her but I've chosen her many times. But I guess, what I like or praise about her was her complete submission which she shows towards me. Without any question or hesitation, she just do what I command her to do.

While crocking an eyebrow I asked Zack, " Then what did you replied to her..? "

" Sir, I said you are busy and will be free late in the night. But she said that she'll wait. "

To which I just nod and move inside the elevator. But before pressing the button I order him, " Just ignore her calls. Don't bother yourself too much in picking up my other futile sh*ts. I'll handle this one on my own. " And with that, I press the button while loosening my tie. 

All of a sudden, I feel hot in my clothes so I remove my blazer and waistcoat and undo my shirt's top few buttons. And while rolling up my sleeve cuffs I went in my parking lot, where I keep my second collection of exotic and vintage cars.

Actually, I have three or maybe four-five collections of cars. And each collection contains twenty to thirty cars. They all are limited edition and classic of their time, which even cost a pretty penny. 

I take the key of my Aston Martin from the shelf. As soon as I get in, I rev the engine with a loud ' Vroom ' sound. I can feel the engine's pressure because that's the same as what I am feeling right now. Suddenly I started feeling very strange which I usually feel when I am lonely or disturbed. While doing work I don't realize it but when I am not doing anything or alone, I always get surrounded by these kinds of strange feelings. 

After working all day, I don't know what I was searching for or what exactly I wanted, cause I already have everything. Money, businesses, mansions, properties, achievements, and whatnot. But still. Still, I am fucking empty. I am empty in all this fullness.  

I don't know what have I become. But one thing was sure... that this is not what I wanted to be. Though I do wanted to become a business tycoon just like my father. But never a criminal like him. I never wanted to become atrocious like my father or my grandfather. 

But I was chosen.... chosen as the head after my father's death. It was not what I wished for. But I had no other choice. Yeah..!! I didn't have any other choice than to be a fucking mafia. But now I am. I am a fucking mafia.

However, sometimes I do think that there is something.... something inside me saying.... not to do any devilish things. But now it's too late. Yeah, it's too fucking late to mend anything.

I was already begrimed in people's bloodshed. It's like a mire. A mire of blood, money, greed, and selfish motives. A mire in which I am already in. A mire where there is no comeback. Not even if I wanted to. The answer has always NO and will always remain NO.

And with that fucking NO, I just press the accelerator and drive the car out of the parking lot. After exiting the parking lot, I again press the accelerator to increase the speed and comes out of the corporation's premises.

I don't know where I am heading to but one thing was sure, all I wanted, for now, was to release out my stress and anger. Yes.... stress and anger for being weak even after gaining so much of power.

I don't know what speed I am driving to but I am damn sure that's if someone comes in between my car we both will die cause of my speed. 

I don't know for long I have been driving but when I applied the brakes I was stunned to see where I am. Holy Fuck. That can't be true.
