Chapter five

Wonderful" Aldridge said clapping his hands out of excitement. 

"You know there's more to you than convenes the eyes of people", indeed you are exceptional, he said snarling at me. 

"I want us to rule together, there's a special aura around you, that makes me want you" 

The power" he sniffs, imagining it.

Meanwhile, I stared at him, putting up with all he kept saying. 

"You could be a god", he said howling at me. 

" I am not interested" I altered declining the offer, which made him fume with anger, perking hard at him.

Thus throwing a fireball that slams me hard at the side, I let out a weak moan, slumping against one of the pillars holding my tummy with my eyes fluttering. 

"Taria, taira, taira, clamoring out to me, tossing another at me, as I jumped in the opposite direction away from it.

Mmmm" breathing hard, making an effort to catch my breath.

The atmosphere changed, as Shadows spiral out of his palm,

"Ssss stop, I altered moving back away from them. 

"I will make you regret turning down my proposal" Aldridge altered with so much furry in his eyes. 

Help me" I softly mumbled to myself when the voice said 

" Control your fears" 

Ignite the fire" the voice said. 

Thinking of what to do, I felt my hands snap, my body moves toward him, it was I had no control over my body anymore. 

He raised me up, squeezing the life out of me, as I attempted all I could to crack free.

"Is this the end?" I said to myself, with my eyes slowly fading away when I felt a spark plugs through me, pushing him off to the wall, losing his grip on me.

Hrrnnggh" I panted striving to grab my breath. 

Hmmm", indeed, your powers have finally awoken". He said, dashing at me, striking me off balance, as I fell down flat on my back. 

" You put quite a fight,

Young taira", he said walking around me, not knowing the crown was unguided. 

Without thinking twice I rushed to where the crown was placed and the moment I laid my hands on it, I felt the immense power, it's powers were beyond human capabilities, with Aldridge finally figuring out what was going on, I had already placed the crown on my head.

The desires, powers, burn through me, as it elevates me up, with my eyes closed,  devouring myself in it's power.

No, no, no Aldridge altered, fuming a fury ball at me, rolling towards my direction, as I waved it aside.

Enough " I yelled  spiraling out  fire from my palm, blowing him off, when I reckoned, he made an illusion of himself, as I woke up, gasping for air. 

Your reality"

"It is time" I heard the same voice, as I sat down on the bed. 

Taria", I heard Julia clamoring to me, as I dashed go off the bed rushing to meet her.

What happened" I altered looking frightened why she yelled my name so loud.

Thus she pulled out her hand and gave me a letter, saying that there will be a ball, at the palace in celebration of the festival of lights and also the proclamation of " prince Liam" to the throne.

Huh!! I mumbled, on seeing what I just read, staring at mom stunned. 

Erm, that can't be right, mom said quitting what she was doing, as she came to meet us.

Let me see that" she yanked it from my hand and read all the words carefully from the line by line. 

"But the crown can only be given to the next in line" I altered sitting on the chair with my hands crossed, thinking of what to do. 

"To them, no bloodline to the Jerald family was still alive," mom said.

" So, the only thing we need to do is make them know that the last heir is still alive" she added, as I jumped up, clapping my hands, declaring it was what we needed to do.

" No way" she waved her hands, declining my idea, as many questions will stair up if I make myself known to everyone. 

I tried making her understand but she wasn't ready to listen to my plea, as she leaves in disagreement.

Urgh!! I shrug sitting back down on the chair, when Julia suggested we give her some time to think, before asking her again. 

I shook my head, agreeing with her, as I sat down quietly looking lost. 

I am always here for you" Julia said, putting her hands on my shoulder, as a sign of comfort. 

Hours passed

Without a sign of mom coming out, when I heard the sound of her door, with her footsteps approaching our directions. 

Mom" I stood up, calling out to her when she waved her hands stopping me with a stern look on her face when she said. 

" No matter how hard I try"

" I can't fight destiny" 

"Or stop you from ascending the throne of your father" mom altered gazing at me.

On hearing what she said, I hugged her tightly, thanking her for giving me a chance to finally go back to my roots". But deep down mom felt uneasy, seeing every person taking over, the throne ends up dying as he fears for my life. 

Hugging me back so tight, and the way she did that, I knew what was going on as her body language did the talking for her. 

"So how do we present"

Taria as the next in line" Julia altred rubbing her chin constantly deep in thought. 

"Not to worry"

"Will always find a way" mom altered smiling at me. 

MEANWHILE AT THE PALACE

Decorations were being made, with all the helpers preparing earnestly for the event. With queen Eliza, Making sure all was going smoothly, with her heart singing for the joy that finally her son gets to rule over ' valtoria. 

Going off to meet the prince, as she sees him sited on his dressing mirror lost in thought. 

' for someone that is about

" Being crowned"

" You sure look happy," the queen said giving him a stern look, raising one of her eyebrows up. 

" And you seem to be

"Over the moon" he replied walking off to the balcony, with his mom coming to meet him.

" Look son" she altered holding his hand.

" It has always been my dream "

" Seeing you on the throne of

" Your father," she said continuing holding his hand. 

" You mean my foster father"

He replied, angrily shoving his hand off hers. 

" Is that how you"

"Thank us"

" Your parents" a man with a deep voice spoke coming forward to him. As he held him in his clothes angrily cursing him for being ungrateful to his parents, as for everything they did for him, just to get the crown. 

" I didn't ask you to kill him" Liam shouted pulling his father away from him, with so much disgusts in his eyes, storming out of there. 

" I'll talk to him," queen Elisa said, trying to catch up with her son, but was stopped by him, asking her to let him go. 

The Flaming crown is at its climax, as will we bee seeing more of queen Eliza, prince Liam, sir Warwick and Many more.

Sir Warwick is the cousin to the late king and the real father to Prince Liam. 

So the entry of Taria into their lives will spark, envy, hatred, love, desire, in the life of all.
