CHAPTER 10

"Miss, I want to buy some medicine," said Sean to the young dispensary.

"What medicine?" asked the dispensary, her eyes focused on the little paper and pen she was holding.

Sean stuttered. Right, what medicine will he buy? Immediately, he said goodbye to the dispensary.

"Wait, miss. I'll be right back." The pharmacy keeper just nodded with a smile seeing Sean's good looks.

"Sarah. Can you hear me? What medicine should I buy?" Sean asked Sarah who was far away through his thoughts.

'Hahaha. I forgot, Sean. If you don't understand human medicine either,' Sarah replied.

"Ah, come on, Sarah. I was almost embarrassed that I didn't know what to answer when the dispensary asked what medicine I was going to buy."

"You just said medicine for fever. Surely they understand better."

"Give me the best," Sean replied in a cold tone.

Just walked into the apartment, Sean was already Sarah's laughing stock.

"What are you laughing at, Sarah?" Sean asked irritably. He threw himself down on their living room sofa. Sarah followed, who also sat beside him.

"Hahaha. I remember, yesterday you laughed at me because I didn't know the thing to revive Lora. And now, you must be confused about finding medicine for her, right?"

"I can't imagine your confused face. Hahaha," Sarah continued, still laughing.

"Come on, Sarah. Don't piss me off more."

Sarah downed the drink she brought until there was a little left.

"Then, will you just ignore the medicine I bought?" Sean asked, glancing at the medicine lying on the table.

"She's asleep, Sean. Should I wake her up?"

"You want to let it continue to hurt, huh?"

"You care about her?" Sarah teased.

"You've asked this, Sarah. And you already know the answer. I just don't want her to linger around. She's such a pain."

"Don't be loud, Sean. She'll hear you later."

It wasn't until Sarah spoke that the sound of the door opened.

"Lora!" shrieked Sarah when she saw Lora unsteadily about to walk toward her.

"Why didn't you call me?" Sarah asked worriedly as she supported Lora.

"I ... I'm thirsty. I want to drink. And I've called you, but you don't seem to hear my call," Lora explained softly.

"Oh well. I'll get you a drink. You also have to eat and take your medicine."

Sarah left after helping Lora sit on the sofa right in front of Sean.

Lora sat up while continuing to hold her aching head. Occasionally she glanced at Sean who was in front of him with a cold face, of course.

"Are you still cold, Lora?" Sarah asked as she placed a glass of water and porridge in a bowl on the table.

"No, Sarah. It's just that my head is dizzy."

"You eat first, okay? Can you eat by yourself?" Lora nodded.

But just spooned a little and was about to put it in her mouth, and suddenly the spoon fell into the bowl of porridge.

"Why do you always push yourself? Is that your habit?" Sean growled as he glared hard at Lora.

"I'm sorry," Lora answered with her head down.

Sarah hit Sean's shoulder lightly.

"Stupid!" Sarah scolded Sean.

Sarah took over Lora's bowl and spoon, then fed her painstakingly.

"Yes, Sarah. I'm full," said Lora after the fourth bite.

"You just had a few mouthfuls, Lora. Again, huh?"

"I'm full. Really." Lora begged.

"All right, let's take some medicine. After this, you have to rest."

"Yes. Thanks, Sarah." Lora received medicine as well as a glass of water.

"Don't say thanks to me, Lora. Sean bought you the medicine. So if you want to be thankful, just tell Sean," Sarah explained, holding back amused seeing Sean's anger almost exploding.

"Cough." Lora coughed at Sarah's explanation. 

"Is that true, Sarah?"

"Yups."

However, instead of regretting that Sean was angry at her joke, Sarah burst into laughter. Seeing the annoyed expression mixed with embarrassment on Sean's face, made Sarah couldn't take it anymore.

"Did I do something wrong, Sarah?"

"No, Lora. You haven't done anything wrong."

"Then why is Sean leaving suddenly? And you, why are you laughing all of a sudden? Is anything funny, Sarah?"

"It's okay. Sean just wants to go to his room."

"Then you?"

"Me? I just want to laugh. Isn't that okay?"

"Take it easy, Lora. We have permission not to enter. How could we possibly have the heart to leave you alone here? Moreover, you are sick."
