THE SECRET Between Us

Chap 1

Sean and Sarah walked uncomfortably along the school corridors, even from the moment they passed the gate.

Always. Both have to experience this every day. The shouts of the girls and the teasing of the boys of them passed through the hall, embarrassed them.

Sean is a student who can be said to be the most handsome in this school, and Sarah is the most beautiful. No wonder they are the most targeted in this senior high school.

"Sean, can I chop off their heads who dare to tease me openly?" Sarah asked irritably.

"Not a good idea, Sarah," Sean half-whispered to the cute girl beside him with a slightly amused expression at Sarah's frowning face.

"As usual."

Sarah turned her gaze to the boys on her right and left. It's all the same. Staring at her in awe as if she was the only beautiful girl in the world.

"Ignore it, Sarah. Haven't you been able to do it since the first term?"

"Yeah. I will chop the heads of them off. If I fed up," Sarah grumbled, which made Sean roll his eyes.

After they got to the front of 10th grade, Sarah stopped. "Sean, I'll go in first," she said before entering her class. And Sean replied with a nod. Sean then continued walking toward 11th grade.

"Sarah, what's with your face? You look pissed off." Alena saw Sarah walking towards her desk.

"The usual. Do you know? Those stupid students keep teasing me. And I don't like that."

The white girl put her pink backpack on the table and sat on the bench next to Alena.

"Come on, Sarah. That's not too bad. Many other girls want to be like you. You have a face so beautiful that it makes them jealous of your beauty. Aren't you grateful for this gift from God?" Alena asked anxiously.

"Oh, come on, Al. I feel uncomfortable every day like this. I'm sick of it." Sarah emphasized her last word.

"I hope your annoyance goes away, after I asked, have you done the assignment from Mr. Boutier?" 

"Gosh. Are we have homework to submit?" asked Sarah, forgetting her annoyance at once.

"Oh. God. Don't tell me you haven't done it," Alena replied. Sarah grinned.

"Today, there is a lesson from Mr. Boutier. And you haven't done it yet? You can...," Alena had not had time to finish her words. Sarah immediately silenced Alena's mouth so as not to speak any longer. 

"I know, Al. So you better give me your assignment book. So I can do it right away."

Alena rolled her eyes lazily. It's always like this. But she still took the math book that was in his bag then she gave it to Sarah, and Sarah brought it straight to her desk.

The girl with golden blonde hair focused her full attention on the two books in front of her, her hand holding the pen began to copy over the book. 

"Only one more question…." Sarah muttered. But another hand bravely grabbed the book. Sarah raised her head, saw who dared bother her. She looked annoyed at a student in front of her, Joshua.

Joshua. The only student who dares to tease Sarah. Every day he always bothered Sarah. Sarah scolded her many times, but not a single sentence that Sarah said was able to make Joshua stop doing it.

"You again," Sarah said lazily.

"Can you not bother me for one day? I'm bored," Sarah continued, starting to feel embarrassed.

"But I never get tired of bothering you," Joshua replied casually.

He sat down, returned Sarah's book that he had taken earlier. "Here, please continue with your copying activity. But don't expect me to go now," he said with a wry smile. He grabbed a stool and brought it closer to Sarah's desk.

Sarah just sighed in resignation. She will continue her work. Let Joshua sit across from her. The most important thing was that the blonde man did not bother her to write.

"Sarah, do you have an event today?" Joshua asked when he saw that Sarah had finished her assignment.

"There are. Lots of them," Sarah replied.

"Very well. Maybe another time." Joshua shrugged. I don't know what that means.

"What is wrong?" Sarah asked lazily, answering someone's call through her mind.

"I want to take you somewhere," Joshua replied excitedly.

Sarah was surprised. She unconsciously asked the caller in a voice Joshua could hear. Sarah hurriedly changed her shocked expression with a flat face then walked away, leaving Joshua confused.

Sarah hurried to Sean's class, having received a call from her brother through thoughts.

"Where are you going, Sarah?" Joshua asked, trying to keep up with Sarah's steps.

"You! What else do you want?" Sarah was annoyed. She stopped and looked lazily at Joshua. 

"I asked, where are you going?" Again, Joshua asked Sarah.

"Sean called me. So, I'm going to class now. And you. Stay here. Don't come," Sarah replied unconsciously.

"Sean calling you? Waits a minute, you've been with me, Sarah. And I didn't see when Sean called you? From a cell phone? You didn't even use your cell phone since earlier? Then, how do you know when Sean called you?" asked Joshua investigating.

Sarah hurriedly cleared her nerves.

"I mean, I'll call Sean, Josh. So stop following me. Please." Not Sarah if she can't make excuses. Even with any reason, she could handle this kind of thing.

With Sarah's plea, Joshua complied. He will let Sarah off the hook this time. "Okay. Just go. I'll wait for you in class," he said as he walked away.

Sarah patted her forehead lightly. She let out a tired sigh. At the very least, Sarah could leave in peace now. She doesn't know what happened to Sean to the point that he called to go to his class. Not usually.

Sarah walked briskly toward Sean's class, not caring about every pair of eyes watching her. Some stare in awe, but some don't like it.

"Jeez. What have you done, Sean? What have you been with this girl?" Sarah asked, screaming a little when she entered Sean's class. She saw Sean sitting on his bench, hugging a girl who was unconscious on the other bench.

"Not now, Sarah. I'll tell you later. Better now, you make her realize," Sean replied lazily.

Sarah walked over to Sean and the girl. Then whispered to Sean, "Should I use my power?" Sarah asked right in Sean's right ear.

"Have you lost your mind? Behind Alex and his friends." Sarah looked back. Sure enough, there were several students there. I don't know what they did.

"Fine. Wait here. I'll get something in the medical room." Sarah stood up and then left the classroom.
