Chapter 8:- My Heat Flattered

His body was so warm, as I was being held by him in his arms. I felt my heart beating fast inside my chest. It was so cold, but I felt my face turning hot.

"Cough! I-It's o-ok. You can leave me now", I said.

"Ah, sorry", Ho-Jun replied as he let go of me.

"I-It's fine", I said while avoiding looking at him.

Then suddenly, something struck me.

"Ho-Jun your hand!!!", I said anxious and looked at his injured hand. 

I forgot that his hand was injured and I just directly crushed into him. He didn't even complain about the pain when he held me.

"I-It's already Ms. Kim", he said, but I wasn't convinced until I looked into it by myself.

"You come with me", I said as I hold his other hand and rushed inside the hospital.

People were looking at us as we made our way into the hospital and passed by in front of everyone. I was holding Ho-Jun hand tightly. I didn't bother what people were thinking, at that moment the most important thing inside my mind was to find out if Ho-Jun's hand was alright or not.

We quickly got inside the elevator and reached the 5th floor. Yeona saw me, a look of trepidation on my face and came running towards me.

"Doc, what's wrong!?", she asked anxiously.

"Yeona, go and prepare the X-ray as quickly as possible", I said quickly.

"Yes Doc!!", as soon as Yeona said that she ran off to do what I asked.

After few minutes Yeona came.

"Doc, it's ready".

"Ok! Well done".

I took Ho-Jun to the X-ray room and it didn't took me much time to perform the X-ray. I saw the results through the computer. I let out a sigh of relief, when I saw that his hand didn't get any worse.

"Is it ok Ms. Kim??", Ho-Jun asked while looking at me.

"Yeah".

"See, I told you that it's ok".

"Yeah, thank goodness everything is alright", I said, as I smiled and looked at him.

Ho-Jun didn't said anything, just kept staring at me quietly.

"Ho-Jun, I'm really very sorry", I said while looking down at the floor, I was feeling bad when I thought that because of my stupidity his hand might have been in a worse state.

"It's ok Ms. Kim", he said in a soft voice.

"No, it's not ok, it's the second time that your hand got hurt and that's also because of my stupidity", I said as I clenched on my white coat tightly.

"Ok then, treat me to dinner on Christmas. Is that ok for you??", he suddenly said out of the blue.

"Huh!??", I was dumbfounded when I heard that.

"What!? Didn't you wanted to apologise for what you did??", he asked while looking at me.

"No, no, it's not like that", I quickly said.

"Then what's your answer??".

"Ok! I'll treat you to dinner on Christmas".

"That's more like it", he said at last.

I smiled at him.

We both made our way back to my chamber. 

"So, Ho-Jun are you taking your medicines on time??", I asked as soon as we settled down on the chairs.

"Yes Ms. Kim", he quickly replied.

"Ok, that's good".

"Do you have any other problems, like pain or anything related to it??", I asked while looking straight at him.

"Yes, sometimes it's pains all of a sudden".

"Well, that's not a problem. Try not to move your hand much. I'll prescribe another medicine for you, see if it's works or not and tell me next time when you come for your check-up", I said and started to write a prescription for him.

"Ms. Kim, can I get your phone number??", he suddenly asked.

"Huh!?", I looked at me to make sure what I just heard was correct or not.

"Yes, so that I can contact you if I've any problem", he replied while looking down.

"Oh I see. Then, I'll write my number on the prescription".

"Yeah sure", he replied while sounding happy and I couldn't help myself from smiling.

"Ok, it's done now", I said as completed writing his prescription and handed it over to him.

"Thank you Ms. Kim! I'll be get going then", he said as he got up.

"Ok, see you", I waved at him as he left.

"Phew! I'm so tired", I said to myself while messaging my shoulders.

Then suddenly, I remembered something.

"MINHO!! Damn! I forgot about him", I shouted slamming the table and getting up from my chair.

"So, now you remember about me", a voice suddenly came.

I turned to look and it was Minho, leaning against the door lazily. My eyes went wide at the sight of him.

"M-Minho, w-what are you d-doing here??", I asked while laughing at him nervously.

"What I'm doing here.... I've come to kill you", he said while closing his eyes and giving an angry smile. I felt a chill run down my spine.

"B-but w-why??", I asked and tried not to sound afraid.

"You ask why-----because first of all you've made up a girlish nickname for me and have spread it. Second, because of you a boy and that also Jae-Bong winked at me calling me 'Min Min' today in the street and last of all you left me alone on the street when it was snowing", he said, now sounding more angry.

"Hahaha------ that's....", I said while scratching my cheeks and laughing nervously.

"So, you only say what should I do with you".

"You should obviously forgive me, oh Great Minho", I said while joining both of my hands.

"Forgive you?? Sorry, but it's not gonna happened. Atleast, not this time".

As soon as he said that, he started to chase after me again and our cat and dog chase started again inside the hospital.

I got out of the elevator and started to made my way out of the hospital. As, I passed by the corridor, I felt people staring at me and whispering among themselves.

"Hey! Isn't it that guy with whom Dr. Minji came rushing into the hospital while holding hands??", I heard someone say.

"Yes, it's him".

"Do you think that this is Dr. Minji's boyfriend??".

"How can I know".

"Aren't Dr. Minji and Dr. Minho in a relationship??".

"Yes, I've also heard that they're in a relationship since a long time".

As I heard that, I don't know why but I felt a bit uncomfortable. 

'So, that's guy's name is Minho and he's also a doctor here in this hospital', I thought to myself.

I didn't bother with the gossips anymore and made my way towards the exit and left the hospital.

As soon as came out and made my way towards the car, I saw Namjoon hyung standing with an umbrella beside the car and was waiting for me. It was snowing lightly, but the weather have turned much more cooler. I looked at Namjoon hyung and he had a worried look on his face.

"So, how did it go?? Is your hand already??", he asked anxiously as soon as I was in front of him.

"Yes hyung, it's already. Don't worry now".

He let out a sigh of relief, as I said my hand was alright.

"Sorry, I wanted to head inside to see if you were alright or not, but then I remembered that you said not to come as it may cause problem for both of us, that's why I stayed here", Namjoon hyung said.

"It's ok hyung".

"Ok, let's head back now before it starts snowing heavily", I said while looking at the sky.

"Yes, let's go".

With that, we got inside the car and drove away. 

As we were making our way back, I couldn't help but remember the time when I held Minji in my arms. She was so warm, her eyes were sparkling and her small face was looking so cute when I saw it so closely. Her lips had turned red back then due to the cold and she was looking beautiful as the snow was falling on her. 

I was so mesmerized by seeing her that I forgot to let go of her and kept holding her in my arms. I don't know why, but as I looked at her my heart flattered for some reason and I wanted that moment to last a little longer. 

I couldn't help but close my eyes and start to think about it again.
