Chapter 11 My daughter has grown up

Marina's Pov :

       I submitted my resignation letter to his desk.I really didn't even wanted to see his face. His face seemed as disgusting as shit to me.

   "As I'm resigning, write me a character certificate of my daughter. I don't want you to mention anything like today's incident in her certificate, "I said.

     He looked at me,took my resignation letter,signed it and placed in his drawer and started to print out the certificate. He gave me my daughter's certificate in my hand and whispered in my ear,

     "Life could have been easier to you, if you had accepted my offer. "

      I tightened my fist and said, "You offer is as disgusting as you. Thank you and I want to give you my farewell gift too. I then, raised my hands very high and projected it directly on his face and there went a large slaaap, landing right to his face.

    "Maybe, you don't know, I never like easy things and difficult things automatically like me. Thank you for the certificate. "

    "You, stubborn and foolish woman. You and your daughter are same. I'll make sure your daughter won't get admitted to any school,here,"he said in anger.

     "She is my daughter after all and I'll make sure I'll take her anywhere, any parts of this world to educate my daughter. The filthy person like you cannot stop her from her education ,"I said. And I returned back.When, I was returning he yelled me, "Your mindless daughter, can never study, how much you try? "

      I didn't answer that because for that thing, even I didn't have any answer. She always hated studying. I wanted her to study because she was always very weak in it. I even hired private teacher for her but it didn't work.

     I went right to her class and called her, to go back home.

    "Moni, get your belongings. We're going home. "

     She looked at the clock hanging above the blackboard in her class and said,

     "It's still not time, mom. "

      I really didn't wanted her to tell that she was expelled from the school.

     "Just get your belongings. Don't ask me lots of questions. "

      She shoved all of her books and stationaries inside her bag and when she was about to leave , I said, "Vacate your locker,  too. "

     She looked at me surprisingly and I went inside and asked which one her locker was and vacated all her locker.

    I held her hands and took her and her belongings. She looked back at Ryan and Ryan was more shocked. But, I dragged her and brought her home.

She didn't even ask me a single question on the way. I really wanted to cry out so hard but I couldn't. How could I cry? When my daughter could get hurt by that.

      I lost my job and the most importantly, my only daughter whom I treasured like the Egyptian pyramids, got expelled even when she was innocent. And the words,  the principal said were like an arrow piercing right to my heart.I really wanted to cry, like really.

     I was holding her belongings and I gave to her and said to keep them, in her room,change her uniform and come for lunch.

     Her grand parents were more than shocked to see both of us, returning back home, early. 
     We both didn't say anything to them.

     After,  having lunch, Moni came to my room and said,"Mom,  I know I am expelled. "

    "How did you know? "

     "Principal told me. I could be expelled. All of them are expelled. I know. He didn't believe me. I really wasn't with them. I can even prove. I have a jacket of person who  gave me his, that day. I told the principal, too. But he asked his name. I really don't know his name, where he was from, who was he? I just met coincidentally, there and he helped me. "

    My mom looked at me with  a surprised gaze,

    "You're with a guy ".

     "Yes, I mean no, not like that mom. I met him there.Right at that moment. And I don't even know him. He just lent me his jacket and went away. That's it. I told principal too but he said he had confirmed with other students, that I was with them. But mom, I really wasn't with them I went with them but later I went on my own. It's the truth. "

     She told me everything. I trusted her and would do the same. I know my daughter what she can do and cannot do.

     But,  everything had already happened, in an instant like the thunder.When she was going out, Do you know what she said to me ?

    "Mom,  don't hold it. Let it out. We will think of better idea.You will be able to handle it, mom, " and went.

     She noticed that I was holding the tears for a long time. Then,  I cried not because of the nightmare of that day. But because my daughter, my naughty daughter had grown  up in her mind. She had really grown up that now she even could console her big and  nearly double aged than her, her mom.
