Chapter 14 Dream House

Monita's Pov :

          The world changed for me in a single day.What I had with me was only my family.People looked at me,as I was a criminal.That day,I knew people only believe what they want to believe,what made them convinced.But,I know I was not going to stop right at that moment and nor my mom would stop.

      I packed all of my stuffs.My clothes, my daily materials, everything and then, my family photo and   a photo of me with Ryan. I never thought I would miss Ryan, so much.

     Mom got everything into the bus.She was going with me.Grandpa and grandma waved their byes to me. I waved them back with a tearful eyes,which I wanted to hide but couldn't. I looked at my Max and Daisi. Their eyes showed the pain of departure clearly. What I missed was Ryan. I knew he would never doubt me. He had been there for me as my shadow. I knew  he wasn't there just because of his mom. Just because he couldn't rebel his mom. And I wouldn't force him to do that. I didn't want him to do as I did. He should stay as a good person, unlike me.

       His mother would be happy that the black spoiled shadow now has left his side but I would always  remember him as my best friend.

     We got on bus and sat beside each other. I held my mom's arms firmly. These arms weren't going to be there when I would need them from tomorrow. They wouldn't be there to caress my hair,  when I do something good. They won't be there to make me food when I would be hungry. They won't be there give me tight hugs when I would be hurt.

     For me, that one day was a borderline which would separate me from my yesterday's completely different world to tomorrow's completely new world. I rested my head on her shoulders and woke up only after the bus stopped.

    Uncle Jacob was already there, waiting for us. Mom told me the woman standing by her side with lots of over make up was his wife. We greeted both of them.

    So,  first we went to uncle Jacob's home.They talked for sometime and then uncle and mom took me to the girls hostel. Uncle said it was an army school so,  the dorms are only for boys. So,mom enrolled me in private hostel .She told me it would be much comfortable than the school dorm. I could enjoy a bit of freedom there rather than in the school's dorm. Mom had really taken the matter of freedom seriously.

     When I got there, the hostel warden was there. She handed the key to my room and said there are two more senior girls living in there and not to mess their things.

     Mom and I went up and saw the room. It wasn't surely as good as my room. It had three beds and three tables. Their belongings were well managed in other two beds and I guessed the left one was for me. Mom kept my belongings in there,arranged them and came down. I went to leave my mom, till main door.

She hugged me tight and I knew she was holding her tears from me. I couldn't show her mine when she was trying really hard to hold it. She kissed me on my forehead, cheeks and nose and held my hands for sometime and said me to be well,  to behave well,to study well and to stay low profiled.

      I nodded my head as yes and she went. My mom went away from me just like that. I cried so hard after she left. The warden approached me ND said, "Everybody feels like that at the beginning. You will get habituated, later. Go to your room and get prepared for tomorrow. "

     I came back to my room and looked everything inside.I turned the books of those senior sisters and found that one of them was a medical and one of them was a engineering student. I was living with the most studious students and my level was, a little bit more than a zero, maybe 0.3, or it could be0.4.

     I carefully stood my family photo and my photo with Ryan there and I went to sleep. Mom had told me that my hostel warden would help me tomorrow to go to school. 
     I woke up when I heard, the door was opened. One of them had arrived but which one was it? The engineering one or the medical one.

     She was tall, had large eyes beautiful skin, no, no her makeup was great. I still didn't know whether it was beautiful or not and within some seconds another one arrived.

    She was,  whaaat?They had a same face. I couldn't differentiate between them. She had the same qualities that the first one had. I was shocked to see them both. They were actually twins. But, don't twins like to have same thing? How did they chose different faculties?

     Right after, entering the room, they started to change their outfit, that was when I shouted, "I'm here, too. " and was noticed by them.

     "Oh!  it doesn't matter. You're still a girl. So, you're new here. In what grade do you study? "

      "10"

     "You're younger than expected, then. Just don't mess with our things. Alright. So, what's your name? "

      "Monita"

   "OK, Monita, I am Rolly and she is Polly. We are twins and Rolly is a medical student and I am an engineering student.As you we both hold, difficult subject. I hope you won't disturb us a lot. "

      I was still not getting which one was who and which one was who. But, I felt really funny, when I heard their name. Who keeps the name Rolly and Polly. It sounded like the nursery rhymes. But, I held my laughter.

    One of them gave me a chart with a hostel rules.Oh my God! Studying till 11 pm. Starting from 7 and had only break from 8 to 9 at evenings.I had to go to school, at 6 that meant I would have to study from 6 am to 11 pm. I thought, I would be a mad dog in some days. So, scary and hectic routine.

     After having meal and staying in study room ,all of us returned to our own rooms and I didn't believe they studied, even after that.

     But,  when I was about to sleep, I remembered my mom. Whether she had reached home until now? Whether she had ate or not? whether grandpa and grandma would still fight for TV channels? Whether Max and Daisi still be sleeping? And whether stupid Ryan would still miss me or not?

    The silent tears, when started to make a low sound, I didn't realize but a warm hand came to my  resting shoulder and the up and down motion,  it created made me to fall asleep to my dreams of my dream house. For me,now my house had been a dream house.
