Chapter 9 Mom, I won't do it again..

Monita's Pov:

            I missed my mum before I could even forget her.I returned home before the noon.Mom was still at the school.But, I knew that she had already known about the missing of mine.

    I took off the jacket he gave to me.Ohh! I forgot to ask his name.And I didn't tell mine as well. It was better, you shouldn't give your name to the stranger. But,he didn't feel like a stranger to me, not even a bit. I guessed,  it wouldn't matter to give a name to someone who gave you a jacket. I hid it, very deep inside my closet.

    I really wasn't normal.I had lots and lots of fear what mom will do to me. I waited for her,till 4 when she arrives. Everytime, when I had done mistake she would always make me do lots of up and downs.

But, that day the mistake wasn't something that could be solved just by up and down.She would really kill me. I waited impatiently for mom to return. Before the clock struck 3:30, I was so nervous and anxious but after that I was ready to get any punishment. I agree the mistake was mine. But,  I wouldn't have done that,if she had given me a little bit of freedom.

     When the pendulum started to make the ting ting ting sound at four, my heart stopped for a while. I peeped out of the window, to see whether she has been coming or not.

      After some minutes, Max and Daisi started to bark aloud and I knew who it was. It was Ryan. Max and Daisi always bark at him, although it had been lots of years that they have seen. I heard someone said that dogs can literally identify the person with bad intentions maybe because of that they always bark at him.

     I peeped out of my window, raising my curtains a little bit. Oh! my God she was there with a stick and Ryan.I thought maybe she wanted to hit me sticks. The sticks must be painful. Oh! no what should I do now.

     I took out all of my thicker clothes out from my closet and started wearing them,one after another, tried myself hitting on my butts with my hand to check whether it hurts or not.I wore almost three trousers inside my suit. And, now I was ready for my battle.

    I waited for mom eagerly. I was really happy because I had the resolution for the problem, that was coming nearer and nearer to my door.

     I heard a knock on my door. I opened the door slowly, and peeped out. It was Ryan, my radar and my mom's GPS tracker.

     "Let me come in for sometime, "he said.

     "For what? Don't you know this is girl's room. "

      He whispered in a low voice.

      "Don't worry. I don't consider you as a girl. Just  let me in, "he said.

       I let him in. He sat on my chair and asked,

       "Where had you been whole day? You know whole school is up side down. Did you go with them too? "

       "Look,  first of all, I returned during noon and next thing is,  yes I went with them but I wasn't with them. We went to our own way. "

      "You know how much worried auntie was? Why did you go away like that? You could have talked. "

     "But, she never listens me on the first place and  I wanted to be on my own for sometime. I returned at noon. You can ask my grandparents."

     "Okay. I'll go. "he said.

      "To where? "

       "To auntie. "

       "Isn't she gonna strike me with stick?"

       "What are you asking? "

       "Then,  the stick earlier. "he said.

       "Oh!  that was to scare your two best friends for me. "

       He then, ran away. She was obviously angry, so she didn't want to talk with me. May be I really made her angry.

     I wore layer of clothes,just to be able to survive from her sticks but now I really wanted her to hit me rather, than not speaking with me.

    I took off,  all of the clothes from the body and wore a normal one.

   I had no any intention of going out of my room. I didn't come out of my room until someone knocked at the door. I knew,  it was grandma, she had come to me, to have meal.

    "Grandma, I don't wanna have dinner. "I said.

    "Moni, open the door. "

    It was mom. Her voice was softer than that of before. Wasn't she angry with me?

     I went to the door slowly and opened the door.She was standing there with the glass of water and my meal.

    "Mom, you could have called. I would have come to dining. "

    "It's okay. Let's have dinner here,today."

    She came to my room and set the meal.

    "Did grandpa and grandma had? "

    "yes dear, already. "

    "And you? "

    "Have I ever ate before feeding you dear?"

     Then,  she started to feed me.

     "Mom, I can,myself."

     "Let me feed my daughter, today ."

      She started to scoop the mouthful of food into my mouth, until I finished it.

    She then, stood up to go, opened the door and went away. She had her  food only after that. I peeped her from my door. Then, I went to her and said,

      "Mom, I won't do it again. I am sorry, " tears  welled up in my eyes and started to fall down from my eyes automatically,in the sense of guilt. She then, stood up and started to wipe away my tears and locked me with her both arms, in a warm hug and said, "I will listen to you my love. Don't hesitate to tell me your feelings from now on. I won't pressurize you for anything. I never realized but your mom was on mistake too dear," she said kissing on my forehead.

    "Not even studies,"I said in teary voice.

     She laughed  and said, "I can't help you with that you have to study,dear .It's for your future. "

    But for whatever  it was. I was happy,  my first runaway from my home became my key to freedom a bit. And I got to know my mom,better and my mom got to know about my feelings too.
