Chapter 08

“As both of you are attending the same university.

We brought a small apartment near the university for your accommodation” announced Kevin.

“What!”.... Shouted Kiara and Aaron at the same time in shock.

They gazed at each other and then at their fathers.

“But, Can't we stay at the dormitory?” asked Aaron as he doesn't want to share a house with Kiara.

“Yes, Dad It will be more convenient if we stay at the dormitory,” said Kiara impatiently.

She isn't able to believe that her father again made great damage to her pre-planned plans.

“No, the apartment is very near to University.

It will be convenient for you guys.

There is no need to get worried” slowly explained Jacob.

Aaron and Kiara signed in frustration.

They thought to never see each other again after this day but their fate is inviting them to stay in the same flat and the credit goes to their fathers.

Kevin waited a few minutes for their response receiving no complaints from them he thought they were fine with the arrangement.

“If you guys don't have anything to say then get ready to leave for the airport” announced Kevin.

Kiara nodded as she was left with no choice other than following their orders.

Aaron was getting angered. He doesn't know why everything is going wrong with him.

In all these Lisa has ‘I know this going to happen expression on her face’

She slowly walked towards her sister and dragged her to their room.

“Why did you bring me here?

I am not in a mood to listen to your words.

I can't believe dad wants me to stay with him in the same house” Kiara kept on talking till Lisa interrupted her by covering her mouth.

“Then what do you except sis,

You are married to him.

So, it is common to stay in the same house.

I warned before itself that don't hold trust on our father.

He can do anything at anything which is not going to be in our favour” said Lisa.

“Why are you not saying anything now?” asked Lisa, forgetting to close her mouth.

Kiara slapped her hand which covered her mouth.

“Oh, Sorry.

It was my fault” said Lisa.

“I never imagined that dad would come with this type of idea,” said Kiara sadly.

“You can't predict him,” said Lisa.

“What am I going to do?” asked Kiara.

“Nothing, enjoy your university life with your husband” replied Lisa.

Kiara glared at her.

“What do you expect me to do sis?

I can only give you the best wishes between my new brother-in-law is quite handsome today” said Lisa coming back to her playful mode.

“Sis I am going to miss you badly” suddenly Lisa said with tears in her eyes.

By seeing tears in her sister's eyes she suddenly realised that she is going to leave her house.

For that, she forgets about her problem and hugs her.

“I am also going to miss you,” said Kiara.

“What are you two doing here?

Your father is......” Annie, who came to call them, stopped midway seeing them crying.

“Mom, ” Kiara rushed towards her.

“I am going to miss you,” said Kiara.

Annie also had tears in her eyes.

Kiara and Aaron arrived at the airport along with their families. Their flight is scheduled at midnight after a few hours of the journey they are going to land around nine O'clock the next day.

“Take care of yourself, sis,” said Lisa while hugging her.

“Take care of yourself and also Aaron,” Instructed Annie.

Kiara nodded half-heartedly.

On the other side, Jacob was trying to find Aaron to have a conversation with him but Aaron was doing his best to ignore him.

He was already in a bad mood and decided not to make it worse by talking with his father for the time being.

At last, he found Aaron sitting at the last row of stools.

He walked towards him and sat beside him. Aaron tried to walk away but he held his hand.

Aaron sat back while gazing everywhere except his father.

“Aaron, I am not going to take more time.

I know you don't want to get married.

But, don't show you anger on Kiara” said Jacob.

“She is also in the same boat as you.

Take care of yourself and also Kiara” added Jacob and walked away without waiting for his reply.

Aaron got confused by his words as he didn't understand the meaning of his words.

They heard the announcement of their flight after bidding the final farewell to their family they went to board the flight.

Aaron slightly gazed at his right side where he found a weird creature according to him.

Whereas Kiara was busy drinking the juice which she brought with her while making some weird sounds.

They sat in their respective seats in the flight which was flying towards their destination.

Kiara observed that he was staring at her.

“Do you want some juice?” asked Kiara.

“No,

I just want you to behave yourself.

Who drinks juice while making weird sounds” replied Aaron with a straight face.

“If you have a problem then change the seats,” said an annoyed Kiara by his reply.

“I tried but all the seats were occupied.

So, I don't have an option other than to watch this animal documentary” countered Aaron.

“I never wanted to meet her again after this day but here I am sitting beside her in the flight” mumbled Aaron which was heard by Kiara.

Kiara got angered by his comments.

“I don't have any intention to meet you also and one more thing you are an animal in the form human” countered Kiara.

“How dare you say I am an animal?” asked Aaron in a loud voice.

“Just like you said that you are watching the animal documentary” countered Kiara in the same level of voice.

“You two,

Can you please keep quiet?” asked the lady who sat before them in a stern voice.

“Ok,

Sorry aunty” said both Aaron and Kiara.

“Because of you, I have to hear words from others” whispered Aaron.

“Same here.

I never heard any words from others while travelling” countered Kiara.

They kept on bickering in a low voice.

It is like they will never get tired of bickering.

“Why did you choose MUU out of all universities in this whole world?” asked Aaron.

“Why can't I choose it.

I can also ask why you chose it” replied Kiara.

Before Aaron can counterattack her with his reply. They heard the lady speak again.

“Can't you both maintain silence and let others sleep peacefully,” said that lady.

This time they nodded their heads and decided to maintain silence.

“This girl is very irritating.

How am I going to live in the same house with her?” mumbled Aaron which was heard by Kiara.

“Same here,

I can't live in the same house as you” said Kiara.

“And, I am going to find another place for me.

I will never share a house with you” added Kiara with determination.

“Wow, from the time we meet to till now this is the best decision you took,” said Aaron with a smile.

“Great continue with your plan whatever it is,

I am going to support you” added Aaron.

Kiara was stunned by his excitement. She never saw him this much excitement.

“I should be the one to be excited, not you,” said Kiara.

“You can't understand the reason behind my excitement.

Because you don't know how much you irritate others” commented Aaron

Kiara felt short of words to reply to him.

«I am that irritating?»........ Thought Kiara to herself.

«Not at all,

You are just irritating to him because he deserves it»....... She heard her inner self reply.

“Yes, you are right,” said Kiara loudly, which was heard by Aaron.

“You are not only irritating but also crazy.

You should visit the mental hospital, not the medical university.

You are in the dire need of treatment not to learn the process of treatment” commented Aaron.

“If you want I can suggest famous hospital names” added Aaron.

“Don't you think you are going over the board with your comments?” asked Kiara.

“No, not at all” replied Aaron with a fake smile.

“I don't want to talk to you.

I am going to leave for university myself and don't dare to talk to me at the university” warned Kiara.

“Why do you think I am willing to talk to you?” asked Aaron with folded hands.

“I don't know you might happen to talk to me for any reason that's why I am warning you now itself” replied Kiara.

“You think of yourself very high” stated Aaron.

Kiara twisted her lips and gazed in another direction.

Then she observed that the old lady in the front seat was shouting at them.

She became silent. Aaron wondered why she was not saying anything after hearing his comment.

He followed her gaze and found that the lady was still glaring at them.

They both looked in other directions and decided to put a comma to their bickering because there is not going to be a full stop for their continuous bickering.

“Children of nowadays don't have any manners” mumbled that lady and looked away.

Aaron's sleep got disturbed by the announcement of the pilot regarding their landing.

As he was completely awake he felt some weight on his shoulder.  He gazed to his right to find Kiara's head on his shoulder.

“Ahh, What an early morning sight?” mumbled Aaron.

“Excuse me.

Miss Crazy” called out Aaron while poking her head.

She didn't bulge to his words and was peaceful enjoying her sleep.

He let out a sign. They will be soon going to land but here she was busy with her slumber.

He poked a few times and got the same response left with no other choice; he gave a strike on her head.

“Ahh..earthquake..earthquake” shouted Kiara with his sudden strike.

Aaron was astonished by her response.

All other passengers started staring at her with a weird expression.

Kiara felt embarrassed as she was awakened. She covered her face with hands.

Aaron started laughing loudly.

“Why are you laughing after causing embarrassment to me?” asked Kiara.

“I was just trying to wake you up but you were the one who caused embarrassment not me” replied Aaron still laughing.

“You are really a crazy girl,” said Aaron.

“Ah, no actually you are a great and intelligent person who can experience earthquakes although you are in the plain” commented Aaron.

Kiara glared at him.

“Why did you hit me?” asked Kiara with anger evident in her tone.

“We are going to land soon but you were still busy with your sleep.

I tried to wake you up normally but how can a crazy person be awakened by normal methods” replied Aaron with a smile.

“I am seeing your comments are going over the board” commented Kiara.

Aaron gave her a tight smile.

Soon their flight landed at their destination after crossing the checking area they walked out of the airport.

“I hope you don't find a way to talk with me in university,” said Kiara.

“Don't worry this is just your imagination.

I am not going to have any conversation with you in University

Enjoy your college life and let me enjoy mine” said Aaron.

“Ok,

Don't forget to keep your promise” said Kiara.

“How are you going to arrange your accommodation?” asked Aaron.

Although he got irritated by her behaviour he was unable to stop himself from asking this question.

Kiara was surprised by his question, after all the bickering they went through the before night. She didn't expect this question from him.

“I will try to get a room in the university dormitory,” replied Kiara.

Aaron nodded.

Kiara and Aaron gazed at each other one last time and started walking in opposite directions.

They took the separate taxi to the university.

«I should find a room for myself in the college dormitory.

At any cost, I am not going to live with him in the same house»......... Thought Kiara and got into the taxi.

They didn't notice that the old lady who got irritated by their continuous bickering was behind them till now.

“What are they to each other?” wondered the old lady after hearing their conversation from last night.
