Chapter 09

Kiara arrived at the University. She grabbed her luggage and paid for the taxi.

She got emotional seeing the University name. She tried her best to be able to stand in front of his university.

«Kiara, At last, you came to your dream university to fulfil your dream.

Now, you have to work hard to become an excellent doctor»..... Thought Kiara.

A smile formed on her face as she walked past the University main gate.

«I even got married to come to you.

Please take care of me»....... Kiara said while gazing at the university.

The place was flooding with the people. As today was the last day for accepting the admission forms. There were many people. Somewhere in search of the administration officials and some in search of their dormitory and the others were just passing to see the whole university.

Kiara also started research for the administration office and soon she found it by taking some help from other students.

She submitted her form and completed her admission process. She walked out of the administration office with a smile and decided to start her search for a dormitory to enquiry about the rooms.

She was informed that classes are going to start from the next day.

She was walking towards the dormitory as per the instructions she received from the other students but still, she got confused with the route.

Her shoe laces got untied and caused her to lose her balance. She got mentally prepared to fall flat on the ground but the midway someone held her shoulders and saved her from kissing the ground.

She sighed in relief and lifted her head to look at her saviour.

Her eye fell on the beautiful girl in a pink t-shirt paired with black jeans. Her hair was tied in a ponytail and she had a concerned look on her face.

She might be around her age, which Kiara thought of that girl at that movement.

“Are you alright?” asked that girl realising her shoulders.

“Yes, Thank you for helping me,” replied Kiara with a smile.

“It's Okay,” said that girl with a smile.

“What is your name?” asked Kiara.

“Bella Morris and,

“Kiara Smith,” said Kiara forwarding her hand. Bella placed her hand accepting the handshake.

“Where are you heading?” asked Bella.

“To the girls dormitory.

I have to inquire about the availability of rooms” replied Kiara.

“I am also going towards the dormitory,” said Bella.

“Can you please lead the way?” asked Kiara.

“Ok” replied Bella.

Thanking her Kiara started following Bella.

They were walking in complete silence.

“What is your department?” asked Bella to break the silence.

“First of the Medical department” replied Kiara.

“Wow, I am also from the first-year medical department.

We are going to be classmates” said Bella with a big smile.

Being a talkative and cheerful girl Bella is easy at making friends.

Kiara became happy hearing that she is going to be her classmate. She has a good vibe from the moment she meets her.

“Yes, It is nice that I got to meet one of my classmates before the class,” said Kiara.

Bella nodded in agreement.

“When did you come to University?” asked Kiara.

“Yesterday, I came with my twin brother.

He is also in our class” replied Bella.

Kiara nodded.

They got involved in the conversation and suddenly a passer bumped into them and walked past them. Kiara got angered by the passers behaviour.

“Can't you say sorry after bumping into others” shouted Kiara, gaining the attention of that person.

“Kiara, leave it, they might have been in a hurry,” said Bella.

But, Kiara being the aggressive type didn't listen to her.

“Ok, If they are in a hurry also they should apologise,” said Kiara.

The passers halted in the place but didn't turn towards them.

“Excuse me,

Did you hear me?

Apologies to us” asked Kiara.

One of the passers turned towards them to take a glance and said to the other.

“Let us leave.

There is no need to apologise” said the one to another.

The other one turned towards them.

His eyes fell on Kiara and he got captivated by her beauty.

He walked towards her in a daze and stood in front of her.

“Excuse me,

Apologies to us” said Kiara.

“Why should we apologise?” asked that person coming out the daze.

“Because you bumped into us.

Don't you know it is basic manners to apologise” replied Kiara.

“Ok,

We are sorry” said that person.

“Ok,” said Kiara and turned to leave but stopped by hearing his question.

“What is your name?” asked that person.

“There is no reason for you to know,” replied Kiara.

“Let's go,” she said Bella and started walking past them with her luggage.

“Maxwell,

Why did you apologise to that girl?” asked his friend.

“Peter,

I don't know but I felt a different vibe from her.

If I come across her I am not going to leave her” replied Maxwell.

“Do you like her?” asked Peter.

“Let's go,

We have to receive my sister” replied Maxwell.

Peter nodded and followed Maxwell.

Aaron arrived at the University. He grabbed his luggage and paid for the cab.

He reached out his phone and dialled Gavin's number. Gavin arrived yesterday at the University directly from his hometown.

He answered the call at the first ring.

“Where are you, Gavin?

I am at the entrance of the University” asked Aaron the next moment he answered the call.

“I am behind you” He heard Gavin's reply.

He turned around and found Gavin who had a big smile on his face.

“If you were here,

Why did you answer the call?” asked Aaron.

“Just for fun” replied Gavin with a smile.

Aaron shook his head. He doesn't want to deal with another crazy person at this movement, who was present in his life for a long time.

“Why are you giving me that foolish smile?” asked Aaron, not being able to see his bright smile.

“I am seeing you for the first time after your marriage.

How are you feeling as a married man?” asked Gavin.

“What is there to feel?

I don't even want to get married and don't mention to anyone about my marriage.

Let it be buried in your heart and mind” replied Aaron.

“Now, Lead the way to the administration office,” said Aaron walking past him.

“Wait,

Let me see your wedding ring” said Gavin and pulled his hand to take a look at his ring.

“Wow,

The design of the ring is nice and it has an elegant look according to your taste and this is giving me the feel to get married” said Gavin.

Aaron looked at him as if he had grown horns.

“Ring is not that important for a marriage.

You need a girl to get married.

So first, find a girlfriend to get married” commented Aaron.

“And, Don't talk about my marriage.

Even if you are bored” added Aaron.

“Ok, but you got married without finding the girlfriend,” said Gavin.

Aaron glared at him.

“Ok, I am not going to talk about your marriage but at least tell where did you leave my sister-in-law.

How did your father agree to come here leaving her just the next of marriage?” asked Gavin.

By hearing him Aaron remembered that Kiara must be somewhere in the university. He wondered if she was able to arrange her accommodation or not.

“It is a very long story with twists and turns.

I will explain it in my free time” replied Aaron.

“You are increasing my curiosity levels.

At least say what is her name?” asked Gavin.

Aaron suddenly realised that he still didn't know her name. He felt foolish for arguing with her the whole night without even knowing her name.

“Aaron,

Where are you lost?” asked Gavin.

“Gavin,

Can you stop questioning me?

If you were this much interested then you should have to attend the wedding” replied Aaron.

“Now, I am not in a mood to give your explanation” added Aaron.

“Ok, Why are you getting hyped?” asked Gavin.

Aaron walked past him without giving any reply. Gavin ran to match his pace and they soon reached the administration department.

Completing the process of admission they walked out of the administration department.

Suddenly, Gavin realised something.

“Aaron, I didn't see your name in the dormitory students list.

Where are you going to stay?” asked Gavin.

“Dad brought a small apartment near the  University.

I am going to stay there” replied Aaron.

“Nice, If I get late on weekends I can stay at your flat,t,” said Gavin.

Aaron nodded.

“I am going to the flat to arrange my luggage and get settled” announced Aaron.

“Ok, should I help you?” asked Gavin.

“No, I will manage.

Let's meet tomorrow in class” replied Aaron.

“Don't talk about my marriage and if it is possible to forget that I am married, ” said Aaron.

“Ok, Mr Aaron Foster” said Gavin.

Bidding bye to him Aaron started walking towards the back gate of University as his flat is located at the backside of the University.

All the way he was wondering whether Kiara was able to get settled or not.

«Does she get settled or not?

Should I look for her?»....... Thought Aaron.

`No, Don't forget she warned me to stay away from her in University.

Now, If you went in search of her then she will think that you are interested in her.

Don't let her think that way»......... He heard his inner voice.

«You are right.

I should not look for her»......... He decided and continued to walk after removing those unnecessary thoughts from his mind.

Kiara and Bella arrived at the dormitory. Then walked into the dorm supervisor office.

“Can I come in, mam?” asked Kiara while standing at the door.

The lady nodded her head.

“How can I help you?” asked the dorm supervisor.

“Mam, I want to stay in the dormitory,” replied Kiara.

“Sorry student,

All the spots got filled,

this year there were many new admissions then every year” said the dorm supervisor.

“There is not even a single spot empty,” asked Kiara.

“Yes, there may be a chance next semester but not now” said the dorm supervisor.

Kiara's face fell hearing her reply. She kept her hopes in the dormitory.

She thought to use the money her mother gave to pay for the dormitory charges but here she has money but the dormitory is not empty.

“You should have come earlier if you wanted to stay in the dormitory.

Tomorrow, classes are going to start” said the dorm supervisor.

Kiara walked out of her office after thanking her.

“What happened?

Did any rooms are empty?” asked Bella,

She was waiting for her outside of the office.

“No, there is not even one empty spot in this dormitory,” replied Kiara.

“What are you going to do now?

Classes will start tomorrow” asked Bella with concern.

“Don't worry I will find a way” replied Kiara. She felt thankful for her true concern.

They heard Bella's mobile ringtone. Bella checked her mobile. The call is from her twin brother.

“My brother wants to meet me,” Bella said after answering the call.

“Dont worry about me.

You can leave to meet your brother” said Kiara.

“Are sure, you will be okay” asked Bella.

“Yes, ” replied Kiara.

“Can I get your number?

I will call you know if you really got settled or not?” asked Bella.

“Ok” replied Kiara and they exchanged their mobile numbers.

Bella walked away after bidding bye to Kiara.

«Wow, she is a nice human being.

She will be a nice friend»........ Thought Kiara with a smile.

«Don't smile you have a major issue to handle in front of you»........... She heard her inner voice.
