CHAPTER FOUR

“I don't think we should get married,” said Aaron.

“Why do you think that way?” asked Kiara without any expression.

“Because I don't want to get married,” replied Aaron.

“If you don't want to get married then you should talk with your father, not with me,” said Kiara in her not so polite tone.

Aaron was surprised he didn't expect this kind of reaction from her.

According to Gavin's theory and plans.

He thought she might agree with him if he considered her age and second she can be surprised or shocked and the last he expected her to cry but he never expected she would give this type of reaction.

“If you are done talking.

I will leave”  Aaron heard Kiara's voice which snapped him out of his self meeting.

“Wait” shouted Aaron as he found Kiara was about to leave.

Hearing his voice she stopped walking and stood in her place while turning towards him.

He strolled near to her.

“I can't talk with my father.

I just want to know if you're truly interested in this marriage or not?” asked Aaron with a glint of annoyance in his voice.

“I am not interested,” Kiara said with folded hands.

“Then you should say this to your father,” Aaron said hoping she will agree with him.

“I don't want to say,” said Kiara.

“Why?” asked a confused Aaron.

“It has nothing to do with you,” said Kiara rudely, making Aaron enraged.

“If you're not interested in this marriage then why can't you say this to your father?” asked an enraged Aaron.

Kiara got more annoyed by his question.

“I can say by your words that you are also not interested in this marriage.

Then why don't you say this to your father?” asked Kiara with her hands on her waist.

Aaron became silent because he has nothing to say. He doesn't want to tell her about his deal with his father.

He came here with a hope to convince Kiara and avoid this wedding but seeing her behaviour he got the slight idea that she was also in the same ship as him but he didn't like her behaviour.

“If you are done.

I am leaving” said Kiara and walked away leaving Aaron behind.

«I have never seen any girl with such bad behaviour in my life.

She is an arrogant girl from a rich family».......... Thought Aaron and followed Kiara.

As Aaron walked into the living room he saw Kevin and Jacob coming out of the study room. He got settled on a single couch.

Kevin and Jacob sat on the couch while sharing a glance.

“As it was decided your wedding will be held after five days.

Tomorrow you both should go shopping to select your wedding rings and attire” said Kevin and Jacob nodded agreeing with him.

“Aaron you have to pick up Kiara at eleven O'clock for shopping.

By this, you both will get a chance to know each other more” said Jacob with a smile.

His words caused Aaron to glare at his father internally.

Whereas Kiara was busy imaging shouting at her father internally.

Kevin and Jacob waited for their response.

“Are you guys listening to us?” asked Kevin as he got zero response from them.

“Ok, dad”

“Ok, Uncle,” said Kiara and Aaron at the same time.

“Then we will leave Kevin,” said Jacob,

As he stood up to leave followed by Aaron.

“It was nice having you at our house.

I hope our partnership is going to be a cakewalk” said Kevin while forwarding his hand.

“Yes, I am looking forward to our growth in relationship both personally and professionally,” said Jacob by shaking his hands.

After Jacob and Aaron departure Kevin straightforward went to his study in the name of work and Annie got busy with her work.

Lisa dragged Kiara to their room.

“What are you doing?”  shouted Kiara while Lisa was busy dragging her.

“What happened in the lane?” asked Lisa.

“Nothing” replied Kiara.

“I am not going to believe you.

What did Mr handsome talk with you?” asked Lisa.

“Firstly, stop addressing him as Mr Handsome.

He is not that handsome” she got interrupted by Lisa.

“Sis, You must have lost your eyesight because of it you are talking nonsense.

No one is going to believe in you if you say he is not that handsome.

His dark brown eyes and sharp jaw and mainly his height which is approximately Six three.

I can't believe my sis is going to marry a handsome guy” said Lisa.

“Lisa, yesterday you were feeling sorry for me because of this marriage” Kiara tried to remind her.

“That was yesterday before seeing him with my own eyes.

That picture didn't do justice to his original looks” said Lisa with a dreamy look.

“Then why don't you get married,” said Kiara.

“It is my bad luck that I can't marry him, sis.

You are very lucky.

I am jealous of you” said Lisa dramatically.

“Miss Drama queen, please take a break from your drama.

There is no need to be jealous of me and mainly don't marry anyone in future based on looks.

Character is more important than looks” advised Kiara.

“I am afraid that I can't listen to your advice,” said Lisa dramatically.

Kiara shook her head knowing better than her sister will never listen to her advice.

“You can shake your head later and answer my question first,” urged Lisa.

“He asked to reject this marriage proposal,” said Kiara.

“Really, ” asked Lisa.

“Yes, He is also not interested in this marriage.

That's why I am saying this marriage is not going to last for a long period” replied Kiara.

“If he is also not interested then why didn't he say that to his father?” asked Lisa.

“Maybe he can't go against his father or maybe another reason.

We don't know but one thing is sure I have to get married.

You observed dad and that uncle's face right they are determined to complete this wedding” replied Kiara.

“Yes, They might have been investing a lump sum of money in the business as partners.

That's why to maintain trust between them they decided to make both of you as scapegoats” commented Lisa.

“I don't want to become another scapegoat for dad's other business deal” prayed Lisa.

“If I become independent by that time I will help you” assured Kiara by placing a hand on Lisa's shoulder.

“I can count on you sis,” said Lisa happily.

Gavin was pacing back and forth in the playground while waiting for Aaron.

He phoned him to know what happened to their plan but Aaron rejected the call.

After trying for a few times he received a message from Aaron saying to wait for him at their regular spot.

Now, obeying to his message he is waiting for Aaron but there is no sign of him from the last thirty minutes.

«Why did he not arrive yet?

Did he forget about the message»............Thought Gavin.

His chain of thoughts was disturbed by Aaron who arrived at that instant and sat beside him.

“Whoo, You scared me,” said Gavin with panic.

“Me really

I am the most confused person right now.

How can I scare you?” asked Aaron with a poker face.

“What happened to my Aaru that he became confused?” asked Gavin dramatically.

One glare from Aaron Gavin became stiff like ice.

“Do you think I am in a mood to joke?” asked Aaron seriously.

“I know you are not but why are overreacting to this small problem?

I have a better solution.

If you follow it, you don't have to get married and also don't have to listen to your dad” replied Gavin.

“What is it?” asked Aaron with raised eyebrows.

“Runaway from home” replied Gavin with a victory smile as if he gave the life-saving worth idea.

“Then how am I going to get a guardian signature on the admission form?” asked Aaron.

Gavin thought for a while before replying

“I never thought my friend is dumb” commented Aaron.

“Ok, I am sorry.

Now tell me, What is that girl's answer?” asked Gavin altering the topic,

As he can't take criticism from his friend whose mouth is sharp like a knife.

“About that girl, I have never seen an arrogant girl like her.

I was talking with her but she was not at all listening to my words.

I faced a hard time controlling my anger” replied Aaron.

“Aaron, I am not asking about her behaviour.

I want to know her response to reject this marriage” asked Gavin slightly amazed by his friend's behaviour.

“Her answer was if you are not interested then you can reject but I am not going to reject although I am not interested in this marriage,” said Aaron with frustration.

“Don't get frustrated we can find another way to pursue her?” said Gavin to give him confidence.

“We don't have enough time to plan, marriage is fixed after five days and tomorrow we have to go shopping to select wedding rings and

attire” replied Aaron.

“And I don't think she will listen to us anymore, I can say this by observing her today's behaviour,” added Aaron.

“What!

Marriage is in five days” shouted Gavin with surprise.

Aaron nodded.

“You are going to get married for sure bro,” said Gavin.

“I know and I am still facing difficulty to believe it,” said Aaron.

Gavin and Aaron signed as nothing left for them to plan or execute other than accepting the reality.

“What is her name?” asked Gavin out of curiosity.

“I don't know,” replied Aaron, making Gavin amazed.
