Chapter One

NAGPAKAWALA ng isang malalim na buntong hininga si Red at pagkuwan ay tulalang pinagmasdan ang sarili sa full-length mirror niya. Salubong ang mga kilay at pinipilit na supilin ang inis na nararamdaman dahil sa muling pagtunog ng kanyang cellphone. It was her mother, Alexandra. Chapter Two

Chapter Three

MABILIS ang mga hakbang ni Red papunta sa parking space ng restaurant. The moment she stepped out of the place, her tears streamed down like a mighty falls. Chapter Four

RED sighed deeply as she took out another resume coming from the pile of applicant's papers in her table. She is in need to find a new literary scout. Pang-24 na itong resume'ng binasa niya. She hated the fact that she needs to do the interview for the position. Ayaw naman niyang abalahin si Marie na kasalukuyang may tinatapos na manuscript for publishing. Mas importante iyon sapagkat matagal na rin itong pending.They're flooded with a lot of activities this month of June. Kabi-kabila ang mga publishing ng mga libro, magazines, and literary devices which they are responsible for. Mas nakilala ang kompanya niya and it really made her heart in a summersault.

Chapter Five

TATLONG araw nang hindi maipinta ang mukha ni Red. She felt grumpy all over. She never went out of her condo to start her "vacation" kuno na plinano ni Marie para sa kanya. Panay din ang iwas niya sa mga tawag ng kaibigan.Who wouldn't? Marie just threatened her. Chapter Six

RED was stunned before the man who offered her help. Halos manginig ang katawan niya dahil sa marahas na tambol ng puso niya. A notch formed in her stomach. Parang maduduwal din siya sa hindi malamang dahilan. But it is very evident that she will throw up because of so much fear caused by the man in front of him. Pero bakit naman siya matatakot kay Fallon? She isn't indebted to him anyway, to her knowledge at least. The last time she checked she wasn't indebted to anyone but the erratic beating of her heart tells otherwise. "Who are you?" she asked, her nose humped because of that lie. Fallon didn't answer her instead he took a step towards her making Red move back.

Chapter Eight

MAYBE I am not really in good terms with lady luck. Maybe the odds aren't really in favor with me. Maybe I was really born to fuck up. Or maybe I just really ran out great cards today.
