CHAPTER 16

MASTER ADRIAN'S POV:-

I stepped out of the room after taking another quick shower. I went towards the garden. It was almost the dawn as I could see the sky changing its colors. My eyes glowed red as I sensed the scent of someone I had not met in ages. "Valtor, I did not know you were coming as well. In fact, Vincent did not tell me at all. Or I would have been waiting for you." I loudly said in a taunting tone. I heard him chuckle and then he walked towards me.

I turned around to look at him. He had his evil smirk on his face. He came to me and holding his head high, he slipped his hands in the pockets of his pants. "Well, that is because you don't deserve to know about my arrival. After all, not everyone likes to bow down before you. After all, not all of us are pussies." I gritted my teeth hearing his reply. I would have said something to him but he went away.

"Go back inside, Adrian. Or you will be burned into ashes just yet. You can not die like this, you know. It will be a shame." He yelled loudly before he stepped into the palace. I looked at the sky which was getting brighter with the rays of the sun. I sighed and went back into the palace. I looked around and found Valtor sitting on one of the couches. Smirking at me like he had won a game. I shook my head and went towards my room. 

Seeing me going back to the room, Lissie came running to me. I entered the room and she tried to enter but I stopped her. "Not now. I want to stay alone." I said and before she would have said something, I shut the door at her face. I went to the bed and sat on the edge of the bed. I started to feel something heavy inside my rib cage. 

It was true. I knew why I was feeling that way. Or at least I thought it would be the reason at that time. I had hidden something from Eve. Something that would disturb her a lot when she would know the truth. That was why I did not tell her at all. I did not tell her that her whole family was murdered. And it all happened on the same day she was bought.

FLASH BACK:-

As I saw Eve finally had fallen asleep, I stood up and stepped out of my bedroom. Yes, my bedroom. The very second I saw her face, I knew she was my mate and I knew how cruel the world was to her. Her own brothers sold her for money. They lied to sell her as the lustful vampires worth more than a mature vampire and human slaves as well. 

In my territory, I had made a law to put the lustful vampires as the guard dogs. As the lustful vampires can not keep their lust for blood. It's like they are addicted to the blood. And because of that, everyone feared them. Because they don't care about anything. If you enter the territory that is guarded by the lustful vampires without permission, they will not think. They will attack you and suck you dry. That was the reason why my territory was the safest territory. 

I went to the bar and poured myself some fresh blood that was brought in an hour ago. I went to the couches and sat beside Ryan. I nodded my head at him because I could see the questions in his eyes. "Master, she is an impure. I thought you would hate her here. That was when I decided to send her away. But you brought her in. Why, my Lord?" He asked me in a confused tone and I leaned back on the couch.

"You have not found your mate, Ryan. That's why you will never understand the feeling. I could hear her from miles. I ran all the way from Redford territory to my own territory, just to take a look at the person who was crying in pain. The dream I saw, it felt so real. I can still feel her tears and her pains. I can still feel how soft and fragile her neck was in my hand." I replied and a bright smile made its way to his lips. He stood up and started dancing crazily.

"What the hell are you doing, Ryan? Are you crazy?" I asked him while laughing at his crazy dance. He nodded her a head then came to me. He sat on the ground and hugged my leg. 

"Are you saying, you have found your mate? The very person you have been looking around for centuries. She happens to be the girl who was bought as your slave. My Lord, I am so happy. I can not tell you how happy I am for you." He said and rested his head on my knee. I patted his head as he was still wrapped around my leg. Ryan was like this ever since I had saved his life. 

"Yes, but I can not wait to see those bastards in front of me. I want them to beg for their lives in front of Eve. And I will not forgive them until Eve will. They dared to lie to me. They have been hurting Eve ever since she was born. How can I bear to see my mate in pain? Do you know, I saw her begging me to kill her in my dream. She did the same the very moment I told her that I wanted her with me." I said and Ryan looked up at me. As if he could feel the same anger as me, he also gritted his teeth.

"Don't worry, my Lord. You don't have to worry about anything until I am here. I have sent Hayden to get them all here. Your wish is always my command. I will make sure to make them feel the same pain our mistress has been feeling. I will make their life nothing but a living hell." He replied angrily and I nodded my head. I did not doubt him at all. I knew he would do everything as he had told me. He would make them pay for hurting my mate.

I smiled as I sensed Hayden's sent into the palace. I stood up and Ryan also stood up after me. Hayden came to us and bowed his head. I gritted my teeth as Eve's pained moans played inside my head again and again. I went to him and grabbed him by his neck. In a blink of an eye, I slammed Hayden by the nearest wall. He shivered as he saw my furious face and red glowing eyes.

"How dare you even think of hurting her this way? How dare you touch something that belongs to me? How dare you think of hurting my mate?" I roared at him angrily and he started shaking in fear. 

"Brother, I made the biggest mistake of my life. I did not know that she… wait what? She is your mate? Why did you not tell me that before? When that actually happened, brother? I can not believe it, you have found your mate." He replied to me in a happy tone. Hearing his tone, I felt my anger rising even more. I let go of his neck. Once he stood straight in front of me, I slapped him hard on his face. Everyone stopped and was looking at us. There was a red stamp of my hand on his cheek. He narrowed his eyes with the shame he was feeling.

"Where are the Daemonium brothers? I thought I told you to get them here." Ryan quickly came in between us and stopped me from doing something I would have regretted later. Hayden gave us both a confused look then he nodded his head when the reality hit him again.

"As you have ordered, I went to the Daemoniums. But they were all lying dead into that house. Not even the parents were alive. The whole family is murdered. And what is more surprising, the whole family was murdered and not a single person got in or stepped out of that house after Salvador." He said and I looked at Ryan who was looking at me with the same shocking expressions on both of our faces.

"Does that mean, Salvador killed them before he stepped out of the house?" Ryan asked and I shook my head.

"No, that can not be true. If you would tell me Hayden would have done that, I would have believed you. But Salvador, he does not move an inch without my permission. Just like you, Ryan. Salvador does nothing without my permission." I replied and he nodded his head.

"Then we must go and check who dared to enter their house unseen and killed them silently and ran away?" Ryan said and I nodded my head. He went out to get the cart ready while I went to get my coat and check if Eve had woken up. But to my surprise, she was still unconscious due to the pain she felt.
