LOGINMASTER ADRIAN'S POV:-
"Then we must go and check who dared to enter their house unseen and killed them silently and ran away?" Ryan said and I nodded my head. He went out to get the cart ready while I went to get my coat and check if Eve had woken up. But to my surprise, she was still unconscious due to the pain she felt.
Pecking her warm forehead, I grabbed my coat and my wand. I then stepped out of the room and went straight towards the gates of my palace. Ryan was standing by the cart that was ready for me. As always, Ryan took care of everything. He held the door of the cart open for me. I stepped in first then Ryan stepped in. Hayden followed behind. When we all were set, Ryan asked the driver to take us to the Daemonium's house.
The cart came to a halt and Ryan held the open the door for me. I stepped out of the cart and went straight into the house. As I stepped into the house, I smelled death everywhere. Ryan came and led me towards the living room. My eyes widened in horror as I saw the bloodbath in the room. The room was painted red with the blood of Daemonium's family. The gold I had given them in exchange for Eve, someone had melted it and turned it into helmets for the whole family. Everyone had a gold helmet in their heads.
I went closer to have a better look. That was when I realized that they were killed as I had seen in my nightmare. Justin's throat was missing. Edwin's arms were not with his body. Calvin's lung's were pulled out of his body as well.
I was looking around for the missing parts while I ordered Hayden to check the bodies of Eve's dead parents. I stepped out of the living room and went to the kitchen. I suspected that the missing parts would be in the kitchen. But they were not in the kitchen. As I was about to step out of the kitchen when Hayden came running towards me. He looked all pale like he was a mortal and he would have seen a ghost.
I went to him and patted his shoulder lightly. He jumped but soon recovered as he saw me standing beside him. "What drained you out, Hayden? I have never seen you this scared ever before." I asked him as he looked back at the living room's door then back at me.
"Brother, their missing body parts. Someone ripped the couple's hearts out. Daemonium is missing his shaft and his balls while his wife is missing her uterus. I can not believe it. Someone just ripped it all out on purpose." He replied and my eyes widened in horror. I gritted my teeth and stepped out of the kitchen. I went back to the living room. I examined the bodies again. Because I did not know why, but I just could not come to believe what Hayden had told me.
It was not just a nightmare I had seen that day. It was reality. Something that was going on with the Daemoniums. But I did not understand. I was the one who had killed the Daemonium brothers. I was not sure if I had left Redford territory the time when the Daemonium family was murdered. And I had not seen Eve's parents in my nightmare. It was about Daemonium brothers only. I had not seen how her parents died.
I also had no idea how the gold ended up on their corpses. Neither I had known of the body parts ripped out. As if on cue, Ryan came to me and stood beside me. I also stood up and signalled him to speak up. "My Lord Adrian, you better see this with your own eyes or you will never believe me." He said in a panicked tone. I sighed and signalled him to lead the way.
He took us to the stairs and we climbed up the stairs. As we crossed the second floor, I looked at him and he nodded his head. "My Lord Adrian, there is a… I can not call it a room. Let me show you." He said and I just nodded my head. He pulled the ladder down from the roof and we climbed up. As I entered the space that looked like a store room, I inhaled deeply and gulped hard. My desires awakened as Eve's delicious scent reached my lungs.
I looked back at Ryan and he nodded his head. "This was the room of our mistress. She used to have this store as her room. Along with all the trash and attics." He answered my unasked question and I felt pure rage for the dead family. I just did not understand how come anyone hurt her like that. And what was the reason behind all this.
"Master, this is not the reason why I brought you here. You need to see this." He said and pointed his finger at the nearest wall. I looked at the wall. Hayden felt sick as his eyes fell on the wall. He ran away while I went towards the wall. I saw the missing body parts of the Daemonium family. Calvin's lungs were there as well. To my surprise, they were pulled out whole without a single scratch. I knew it was not easy to rip someone's lungs out without any damages. I went even closer and found that the initials of my name were written with the body parts under a circle that was drawn by the blood of the family. I gritted my teeth seeing the horrific scene in front of me.
Flashback Ended:-
It was clear that whoever murdered Eve's family, they wanted me to see that. They made sure that I would see this message they had left. But I really did not understand what was the message really? I had told both Ryan and Hayden not to tell anything to Eve. I wanted to find out everything before telling her.
According to the people of their neighborhood, nobody got in or stepped out of the house. Neighborhood also confirmed that they did not hear a single sound. It was like they were all sleeping. Or maybe it happened the time when the whole territory was asleep. But it was near to impossible as a few hours ago, Salvador had received Eve and and a few hours later, Ryan sent Hayden to bring the Daemonium brothers. Who knew they would be dead.
I heard a knock on the door and gritted my teeth. I stood up and went to the door but when I recognized Vincent's scent, I sighed and composed myself again. I opened the door and invited him in. He went straight to the couches while I went to the shelf to grab the bottle of blood along with two glasses. I went to the couches as well and sat beside Vincent. I poured blood in both glasses and gave him one. I grabbed the other one and leaned back on the couch.
"I apologise for the Valtor's behavior. He is like this. I don't know till when I have to carry his mistakes." Vincent said in a guilty tone while shaking his glass a bit. I sighed and nodded my head. I knew it was not his fault. Valtor was an evil vampire. He was proud and irresponsible. That was the reason why great Master Redford decided to give the crown of the territory to Vincent.
"You do not have to apologize to me for his mistakes. You are my friend and I know you better. Let's just forget about that idiot. I have a lot on my plate right now. I need to deal with that first. Once the road is clear, only then I can think of moving towards more problems to solve." I replied and he set his glass on the table. He turned towards me and patted my back.
"What is wrong with you, my friend? Are you alright? I have been noticing you. You are not well ever since you have stepped out of your guest room. Tell me what is bothering you so much." He asked me in a worried tone. I sighed and downed the rest of the blood of my glass in one go. I then turned to face him.
"I don't know what is wrong with me. It is complicated. Let me tell you from the very beginning. You remember when I was in your territory a few months ago and I attacked you all?" I asked him and he nodded his head slowly.
"It all started that day. As you know, I have found my mate. It was the same girl that was sold to me. Her brothers lied to me and sold her. When I attacked you, at that time, I had a nightmare. I saw my mate dying in that nightmare and I was the one who broke her neck." I replied and he shook his head. I knew why he was shaking his head. I had told him that story a few hundred times in a few months. In fact, it was his idea to teach Eve some of my special stunts.
EVE'S POV:-I buried my face in the crock of his neck and inhaled his masculine scent deeply. It calmed my nerves whenever I am scared or nervous. But if I am blushing or feeling excited, Master Adrian's scent always makes it hard for me to resist him. He had told me that he would not touch me. Not until I would feel the same way for him as he felt for me. I was his mate but I had never felt anything like he had described.Yes, I was attracted to him and I wanted to spend all my life in his arms. But the feeling of being his mate was still missing. I knew how it felt to be a mate. It's like a jigsaw puzzle. Like the jigsaw puzzle is not complete without it's missing pieces, creatures are also incomplete without their mates. Master Adrian had completed my life with his love and care and the way he cherished me was something I had not imagined. I had never gotten any treatment like that ever before. But still, n
EVE'S POV:-I was standing on the balcony of Master Adrian's bedroom. He was still in bed. He did not wake up but I wanted to see the sun set. As I was not a vampire, I was able to see the sun. I always liked to sit into the sunlight and enjoy the warmth it offers to every single living being in this world. To be honest, I have ever prayed not to become a vampire. For me, the sun and its warmth was like a gift. Something I had never gotten into my life.I once had heard that a mother's arms were like the warmth of the sun. And the light of the sun belongs to a father. They lighten up the world of their children so they can grow bigger and stay healthy. For me, I did not have a mother who would protect me from cold and did not even have a father who would lighten up my world. But thank God that he had created the sun for people like me. For me, the sun was both my father and my mother.
MASTER ADRIAN'S POV:-The cart stopped in front of my palace. One of the drivers stepped out and opened the door of the cart for me. I stepped out with my bags in my hands. I just wanted to go back inside. I wanted to lie on my bed and forget about Lissie. Her tears started to make me feel bad. I was not habitual of that feeling. As I went closer towards the door, I heard a whimper. I looked up and found someone sitting at the door. I sighed as I knew someone must have pranked that poor soul."Please, for the love of Lord Adrian Cerberus, open the door. I will freeze to death out here." I heard Eve's voice. She was begging to get in. As I reached the door, I noticed that she was in her nightie. She was shivering with the cold. It was way too chilly night for Eve to be outside. Seeing her out, something snapped inside me."What are you doing outside of the castle? Did I not tell you to stay inside and
EVE'S POV:-I was lying on my bed and was reading one of the books I was given by Master Adrian. He knew I would be alone after he would be gone. So he left me tons of books. I heard a knock on my bedroom door. I sat up and straightened up my clothes. "Come in." I said and the door opened. Ryan stepped into the room and bowed his head in respect."My mistress, I have something to take care of. I am going out. Do you need anything? You can tell me." He asked me and I shook my head."I don't need anything. Thank you for asking. Just tell me, when will Master Adrian come back home?" I asked him in a hopeful tone. I expected him to come back soon. But he had been away from me for more than a month."My Lord Adrian said it could take time. I am sorry, my mistress. I don't know when he will be back. He did not tell me anything specific about his return." He replied and I s
MASTER ADRIAN'S POV:-I sighed and took Lissie towards the bed. I made her sit and I sat beside her. I knew she had gotten attached with me but I just could not give her what she wanted from me. It was not her place. Eve was the only one I needed in my life. And I did not tell her anything about my mate at all. Not that I did not miss Eve while I was with her. I had missed Eve every single moment. But that did not mean that I would break Lissie's heart.I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her to my chest. "Lissie, from now on, you will not be a slave here. You will be a turned vampire. You can do whatever you want to do. Your debts are clear. And your brother will be fine. You don't have to worry about anything. But if you are thinking that I would take you with me to my territory, I am sorry. I can not do that." I replied and she broke the hug. With tears in her eyes, she looked at me and I sighed again as I knew
LISSIE'S POV:-After that incident, Master James was strictly ordered to say away from me. Master Adrian warned him saying that he was still alive because he was the right hand for Master Gerard. Otherwise, Master Adrian would have strangled Master James to death. Master Gerard also ordered him to stay away from all the slaves. All the slaves thanked me. As Master Gerard's territory was a living hell for all the slaves because of the wrath of Master James. It was really a nightmare for me to face that time. But in the end, I was saved. And I was saved by Master Adrian. It was impossible for everyone to believe that Master Adrian did not just save my life but also turned me. As I had heard, Master Adrian never turned anyone for a long time. Even Master Gerard was surprised to see that I was turned by Master Adrian.I had heard from many people that whoever takes your virginity, you get att
