Xavier's POV.

 It was too late to say thank you to her.

 She was already gone. 

After billing, I went to the parking lot and after putting the items in the backseat, I hopped in my car.

Suddenly Ana started to point at something

Ava: Xavy, see she is there. (Pointing towards a certain direction)

Xavier: I looked towards the direction of her fingers and saw the same girl from the supermarket.

She was short probably about 5'5. 

I couldn't see her features properly as she was talking to someone, maybe her mom. 

She was small and looked fragile like glass. 

Suddenly I started to feel the urge to protect her.

 It's weird but she looked so innocent and small. 

I wanted to keep her safe from all the troubles of this world.

 Suddenly she turned her head towards us. 

Maybe she felt something, then a car stopped in front of them and they hopped in it and that car drove away.

 I really wanted to see her closely.

 (What are you thinking Xavier, how can you feel attracted and attached to her just after seeing her face? 

I think I have gone mad and how I can forget that I'm in a relationship and I shouldn't think like that about her or any other girl like that.

I don't even know her name for god sake. 

I barely know her and I'm feeling like this, ughh.

 I think I need to focus on my game instead of some girl from the supermarket whom I barely know)

I started the car and headed towards my house.

I cooked some fish fingers after serving Ana, I ate my dinner. 

After tucking Ana in bed I went to my room and laid on my bed but my mind drifted back to that supermarket girl. 

UGHHH( groaning) 

 I decided to watch the latest episode of stranger things. 

After completing it, I went to sleep peacefully. 

                   Aaria's Pov.   

After coming back, we arranged groceries in the fridge, snacks and other things in cupboards. 

We bought pizza and fries on our way back, so we didn't need to cook dinner.

After having our dinner and cleaning dishes, I and aunt went back to the living room where uncle and Robert were watching a football match between Atlanta United FC and Los Angeles FC. 

I don't understand this game and honestly, I don't even want to understand it. 

It looks so boring. 

I don't know how anyone can tolerate 90 minutes. 

I feel pity for players too. 

They have to run like idiots behind a ball for the whole 90 minutes. 

Well, I'm sitting with them but I'm not watching it because the expressions on the face of my uncle and Robert are far more interesting than the game itself.

After the game, I decided that it's the best time to mention school because holidays are coming to an end and I need to take admission.

 And for that, I need to discuss it with my uncle and aunt.

Aaria: Uhmm... (Playing with the hem of her shirt) I wanted to ask about school (I nervously said looking up)

 Uncle: Yeah, thanks for reminding dear. I have already enrolled you in Blacksburg High School and for Robert, he can choose his course for his college and tell me(while looking towards Robert, who is now busy scrolling in his phone)

 Robert: Yeah, sure dad I'll let you know. (Looking towards uncle)

 Uncle: Okay. Aaria your school is near, I and your aunt can also drop you up daily on our way to the office if you want. (smiles) 

Aaria: Nah, it's okay. Uncle I can manage, don't worry (Smiles back)

 Aunt: Okay, so everything's decided then. By the way Liam(Uncle) we need to do some clothes shopping too. It's been a while since Aaria bought something new. So I wanted to reset her wardrobe.

 Aaria: No aunt, I have enough clothes, I can manage. There's no need to buy more. I'm fine. (I hurriedly said)

Aunt: Ohh shut up, I have seen your clothes. They're too old, it's been 3 years since you last shopped with me. We're going and it's final, don't argue with me now. 

Uncle: Dear, Emma(aunt) is right to go and buy some new clothes. You're going to a new school next week and you need to buy the things you need. Don't feel shy to ask anything from us, you're our daughter and I don't want you to go to your new school in old clothes. (He said smiling warmly at me)

 Robert: She's not your daughter Dad, don't be foolish (angrily looking towards Aaria) 

Uncle: Robert behaves yourself, she's your sister. Learn to give her some respect. (Shouted)

 Robert: Dad she's not my sister or your daughter and she will never be after what she has done(glaring Aaria). 

She's the reason why mom still cries secretly. She's the reason why I hate my birthdays. She's a witch. I don't know why are you guys showering her with all your love instead of throwing her out of the house. ( he spat angrily)

 (Aaria's eyes started to tear up) 

Uncle: Enough (Angrily shouting )

 Aunt: Robert goes back to your room now (glaring at him ). 

Robert, if you keep this act, then forget about your bike (angrily)

 Robert: This wicked witch is not my sister and will never be my sister(glaring at Aaria). 

Aunt: Robert shut your mouth this instant, you're not a child. We all know that it wasn't her fault, we've already suffered enough pain and there's no point in digging up the past. (sadly sniffing) 

Robert: Mom you can forget it and 8forgive her but I can't, I can't let her destroy our lives too(angrily) 

Uncle: Robert shut your mouth this instant don't force me to do anything that I'll regret.

 (Aaria crying silently) 

(I felt warm after hearing them supporting me but I could feel Robert's eyes throwing draggers on my back. I don't know why they shower me with their love instead of blaming me like Robert. I don't deserve their love and care. I don't deserve to live, I should have died long ago. I want to go away from their lives.  He still thinks that I'm manipulating them and will take them away from him ) 

(Robert leaves) 

Aunt:(Sighs)
