2020-11-10 00:37:32I have spent the last three days at home being looked after by both Lewis and dad. It has been nice to have them with me, it's not how I thought I would be spending the first few days living with them.
Today I have decided to go and see Hugo to let him know I lost our baby. I don't expect anything from him but I need to get it off my chest and tell him so I can move on from this. Don't get me wrong I will never forget my baby, it will always hold a piece of my heart.
Once I got to Hugo's office I started to get nervous. It was the same as last time, I am once again sitting in the waiting area.
I was looking around and noticed that a woman had gone into Hugo's office with a bag of food and then left almost as soon as she entered. I took that as a opportunity that he was alone having his lunch.
I got up from my seat and walked to his office door, luckily for me his receptionist has left her desk for lunch, so it was all clear. I knocked on the door and walked in.
Hugo looked up from his computer, with a look of hate in his eyes and coldly said "what are you doing barging into my office?"
"You won't see me so what do you expect me to do?" I questioned.
"Sophia, I don't want to see you. I thought I made that clear." He sounded pissed off.
"Look after I say what I need to, trust me you won't see me again." I said with as much confidence as I could.
"If your here to tell me I'm the father again, you can.." I cut him up, not wanting him to make me back down. Looking into his eyes I said.
"Look, you WERE the father. I just thought you should know I lost the baby in a car accident. So you don't have to worry about anything." I looked down at the floor. "Not that you obviously wasn't considering you didn't believe me in the first place."
He didn't say anything he just stared at me.
Looking back at him I smiled. "Your off the hook." I took a deep breath. "Bye"
I turned to leave and stopped in my tracks when he called me.
"Sophia"
"Yes" I replied still facing the door. I can't look at him. I don't have the guts.
"I'm sorry." I could hear the sadness in his voice.
"So am I." I carried on walking, out of his office trying my best not to cry and went back home.
That was so much harder then I thought it would be. I didn't expect him to say sorry, but why was he sorry? sorry that he didn't believe me or sorry I lost the baby.
I was sitting in the living room thinking about everything when dad walked in.
"Sophia. Where did you go? You know you are ment to be resting" he looked at me with concern.
"I had to go and tell the dad that I lost the baby." I huffed and sunk deeper in the sofa.
Dad came and sat beside me and gave me a big hug.
"How did it go? I thought he didn't believe you?"
"Okay I guess. He said he was sorry but I'm not sure what he is sorry about." I gave a weak smile.
** Charles point of view **
"Night Sophia. Have a good rest okay." I smilled at Sophia.
"Night dad." She smiled with love in her eyes and off she went to bed.
I'm extremely the luckiest man in the world to have her back in my life. It's a shame she has been through so much. I just hope she finds happiness soon.
The next night I am getting ready for the yearly fundraising gala. All the top influential and weathly families are invited every year.
I look forward to it every year as it's a great way to help out many charities and of course it's a good opportunity to network, but this year is special as Sophia is home, I feel like a big weight, that I didn't know I had, has been lifted.
"Lewis are you ready?" I smiled at my son.
"Ready when you are."
We both walked over to the car, with my driver holding the door open for us, and climbed in.
"Thank you." I nodded to the diver.
Every year Lewis comes with me to this event. I was hoping Sophia would come this time, but I understand that she needs to rest. It would have been nice to have both of them with me but it won't stop me from talking about her. I'm so happy about her being back that I know I won't be able to help but talk about this fact.
"Dad. Why the big smile"
I turned to look at Lewis. "I'm so happy right now. My family is finally back together."
Once we arrived at the venue, we were announced to the hall and walked over to our table. We sit at the same table every year, the one at the front in the middle.
"Charles darling, how have you been?" Asked a very familiar voice.
I turned round in my seat and looked up.
"Mrs Styles. How very nice to see you again." I said while stading up, kissing her on both cheeks.
"Charles why the formality, you know you can call me Debbie." She chuckled.
"Charles. It's great to see you." Said Mr Styles
"Henry. Good to see you too." We shook hands.
"Hugo. Nice to see you too." I shook his hand.
We all took our seats at the table, while Lewis greeted everyone.
"Why is there a extra chair" Debbie questioned.
"My daughter was ment to be joining us, but unfortunately isn't able to tonight."
"WHAT!" Debbie was shocked.

** Lewis point of view **Everything went by in a blur.The ambulance had come along with the firefighters. They had to cut Sophia out of the car, it was heart breaking to see it all happen.As I was getting checked over by the ambulance crew, a police man came to me to ask me questions. I answered the best I could but it happened so fast I couldn't really remember anything."Thank you for your time" the police officer said. "We will now take statements form the witnesses. If we have anything else to ask you, we will get in touch."I just nodded my head, I was in shock.
