The look on their face was of pure shock. They know everything that had happen with my wife and daughter, they were the ones who helped me through it all. Debbie was best friends with Harriet when it all happened, so she also took it hard.
"Yes, we have finally found her." I exclaimed with a huge smile on my face.
I could see the confusion on their faces, even Hugo looked confused.
"I didn't know you had a daughter, it's a shame she can't be here." Hugo said with a smile, not realising he has already met her.
"Yes it is a shame." I sighed.
I really wanted to have a go at him for what he has done to Sophia. Even though she hasn't told us who the father of the baby was, both me and Lewis believe that it was Hugo, given the timeline and everything thing.
All I could do was smile at him and swallow my words, I would be making a scene if I voice my thoughts out loud and was wrong.
"So how did you find her? Did you also find Harriet?" Debbie asked with a hopefully expression on her face.
Both me and Lewis filled them in, leaving out the parts which involved Hugo, with out saying anything to Lewis he knew not to mention it.
"That is a reall shame. I still wonder what really happened back then. She wouldn't have just left for no reason, especially leaving Lewis behind." Debbied sighed and looked at Lewis with love in her eyes. "She was so in love with both of you during the pregnancy, she would always talk bout how excited she was to have you both in her arms and how she would dote on you both." She started to have tears in her eyes.
Henry put his hand on her arm to get her attention "darling I agree but maybe we should discuss this another time, I don't think we should get into this now."
We decided to leave the subject there and enjoy the night ahead.
** Hugo's point of view **
After everyone decided to drop that subject we all started to drink and talk about our current business projects, I wasn't fully in with the conversation as my mind kept on thinking about what had been said.
Charles has a daughter and Lewis has a twin sister! How did I not know this. I have known them my whole life. I was shocked but at the same time I was looking forward to meeting her, she is a Lexington after all, the name carried alot of weight in the business world.
I wasn't paying much attention to start off with but when he mentioned her upbringing I couldn't help but think of Sophia, his daughter and Sophia had a similar upbringing.
I thought to myself could Sophia be Charles's daughter but laughed it off in my head she can't be, her name was Longthorpe not Lexington after all.
As I was thinking of Sophia I started to replay my encounter yesterday with her in my head.
I looked up from my computer, I was pissed to see it was Sophia here. "what are you doing barging into my office?" Why can't she leave me alone.
"You won't see me so what do you expect me to do?" She questioned.
"Sophia, I don't want to see you. I thought I made that clear." I was getting more pissed off with her.
"Look after I say what I need to, trust me you won't see me again." She said with confidence.
I wanted to knock that confidence from her so I said "If your here to tell me I'm the father again, you can.." she cut me up. She was rude as well as a lair.
Looking into my eyes she said. "Look, you WERE the father. I just thought you should know I lost the baby in a car accident. So you don't have to worry about anything." She looked down at the floor. "Not that you obviously were considering you didn't believe me in the first place." She looked deflated.
I was shocked by what she said. Did she tell me the truth about me being the baby's father? I didn't say anything I just stared at her shocked.
Looking back at me she smiled. "Your off the hook." She paused and said "Bye"
She turned to leave and stopped in her tracks when I called out.
"Sophia"
"Yes" she replied still facing the door.
She couldn't look at me.
"I'm sorry." I could hear the sadness in my voice, I was surprised by it.
"So am I." She carried on walking out of my office and left.
I sat back in my chair and sighed.
Was she telling me the truth about the baby? She looked devastated while telling me she had lost the baby. She wouldn't have come here to tell me this, not after the way I treated her when she told me she was pregnant. Right? Or was this all just a lie. Did she tell me she was pregnant with my child to get me back, and when I didn't believe her she came up with loosing the baby. Was she even pregnant to begin with.
But I could see the raw emotions playing on her face when she told me she had lost the baby, she can't fake them, right. Did she just tell me I have just lost my own flesh and blood? Did I make a huge mistake with all of this?
I was snapped out of my thoughts when I heard apart of Charles's and my parents conversation.
"Yes I will speak to her about the arranged marriage, but please remember she hasn't been apart of our life style her whole life, so I'm not sure if she will say yes." Charles said to both my parents.

I have spent the last three days at home being looked after by both Lewis and dad. It has been nice to have them with me, it's not how I thought I would be spending the first few days living with them.Today I have decided to go and see Hugo to let him know I lost our baby. I don't expect anything from him but I need to get it off my chest and tell him so I can move on from this. ** Lewis point of view **Everything went by in a blur.The ambulance had come along with the firefighters. They had to cut Sophia out of the car, it was heart breaking to see it all happen.As I was getting checked over by the ambulance crew, a police man came to me to ask me questions. I answered the best I could but it happened so fast I couldn't really remember anything."Thank you for your time" the police officer said. "We will now take statements form the witnesses.
