They finished that conversation and moved on to talk about other stuff. At this point I decided to go to the bar and get drunk. I've had enough of this gala already and I just won't to go home.
After about five shots and three wines I decided to call it a day, well actually Lewis decided that for me.
"Hugo man. We need to get you to your car, you need to go home. I think you've had enought to drink."
"No man. I'm good. I'm goooood." I slurred and chuckled at the same time. I was starring to see two of him as he put his arm around me and lifted me off the stool.
Lewis helped me walk over to my car and put me in the passenger seat. I guess he is going to drive me home.
We we're driving in a awkward silence for 5 minutes before I decided to speak.
"So...... I may have been a father, if she didn't lose the baby." I spoke quietly. I'm not sure he heard me.
After another minute of silence Lewis spoke up.
"I don't know what to say. Sorry man."
He had a weird look on his face, I was too drunk to figure out what the look ment.
"Ya. I'm sorrrry toooo." I slurred my words and took a deep breath.
"I didn't believe her. I shut herrr out. I wasss a twat." I pushed the words out. Since yesterday I can't help but think I was wrong about it all. I didn't wont to be wrong but I had this nagging feeling I was.
"Why did you do that man. Why would someone like that lie about something like that." Lewis asked a valid question still focusing on the road while gripping the steering wheel of the car.
"She lied to me before about something sheee didn't have tooo. After that I.... I shut her out. I didn't know she.... was pregnant attt the time. When she told me I just carried on shutting her out andddd not believing her." I paused and looked at Lewis. "I just hope some day she will forgive me. Forgive me for not believing her." I sighed.
We pulled up to my place and Lewis helped me in and up to my bedroom. He placed me on my bed.
"Man I'm all over the place. Sorrrryyy for talking about my problemsss." I starred to feel tired and closed my eyes.
"No problem. I will leave your keys here on the side." Lewis said and left the room.
** Lewis point of view **
We have been driving in silence. When Hugo broke it when he said.

'Me and dad was right in thinking he was the father of Sophia's baby' I thought in my head.
"I don't know what to say. Sorry man." I finally spoke. That isn't what I wanted to say. I wanted to rip his head off for the way he treated Sophia but now want the time to do so.

I'm not sure she would ever do so. Why should she, he hurt her by not believing her. She didn't say so but I knew she was hurt, any woman would bebin that situation.
We pulled up to his place and I helped him in and up to his bedroom. I placed him on his bed, and went to leave.
"Man I'm all over the place. Sorrrryyy for talking about my problemsss." He stated and closed his eyes.
"No problem. I will leave your keys here on the side." I said and left the room.
Once I got back home, Sophia was in her room fast asleep. Dad was in the kitchen sitting at the table.
"Hey dad. You okay?" He didn't look happy he was staring into his drink.
"Hey son" he looked up at me. I could see tears in his eyes. "What am I going to do?"
He was talking about the arranged marriage for Sophia. It was common for wealthy families to arrange marriages for their children so the families would be united and strong.
I sat down next to him after pouring myself a drink.
"I don't know dad." I took a drink and looked at his worried face.
"We were right, by the way about Sophia and Hugo." Dad didn't look at me he just sighed.
"That's the problem son. How can I expect her to marry the man who hurt her." He looked deflated.
"You have to tell her dad, you can't keep it from her." The marriage will go ahead, the deal was made when mum was pregnant with us, unfortunately nothing can break the contract.
" Hugo doesn't know Sophia is your daughter. He said he hope she would forgive him for what he did. I think he finally believes what she said. Obviously their talk yesterday had a effect on him"

I have spent the last three days at home being looked after by both Lewis and dad. It has been nice to have them with me, it's not how I thought I would be spending the first few days living with them.Today I have decided to go and see Hugo to let him know I lost our baby. ** Lewis point of view **Everything went by in a blur.The ambulance had come along with the firefighters. They had to cut Sophia out of the car, it was heart breaking to see it all happen.As I was getting checked over by the ambulance crew, a police man came to me to ask me questions. I answered the best I could but it happened so fast I couldn't really remember anything."Thank you for your time" the police officer said. "We will now take statements form the witnesses.
