Chapter 1 What soldiers dream ?

         The country was again in the war and again the country required many patriotic and brave sons for her, to protect herself from the enemies and to prevent from  the enemies to take over our country,our culture, norms and values.

     A 26 year old sergeant,Nickin,who had just returned from his military duty who was  on holiday was called back again because this patriotic son was again needed for his motherland. 

     He was just married a month ago and he had to leave his beautiful wife on her own again.He was married just a month ago, due to his parents pressure. He hadn't even seen the girl whom he was going to marry and randomly agreed to get married, just to be free from his family pressure.

      The wedding ceremony was held a grand because it was the marriage of the only son of the family. He didn't seem to have such a expressive face so that no one knew whether he was happy or sad with the marriage. After all,  he was just fulfilling his duties as a son and who knew the girl had also done the same.

      But when the marriage ceremony was completed and when the young sergeant actually  opened up the head cloth and saw her closely, he was mesmerized by her beauty.

      He wasn't bad, too but when he saw his young 19 year old wife,  who had those beautiful eyes like that of deer with dark black eyeballs which would shine brighter when she looked at the light. She had a not so fair but beautiful skin and her nose was of right sized and pointed. Her lips were beautiful and  red as she had been continuously drinking blood. Like that of vampire.

      Looking at his wife,  he didn't believe his fate. He gloried his God and became immensely happy to see such a beautiful bride,hiding behind her face cloth.

      "You're....... You're beautiful, " was what he said to her and placed his lips on hers. She, on the other side sat still to  fulfill her duty,  duty as a wife. She had already fulfilled her duty as a daughter and now she was fulfilling the duty as his newly wed wife, the duty to satisfy her husband and to give pleasure to him.

      He lift up his head, and looked at her again. The more he looked at her, the more he couldn't control himself and the more forcefully he placed his lips on her, and slowly opened up all her clothes and and destroyed  all her shame and shyness. She on the other hand laid below him, the whole night to fulfill her respective duty. Though,  she was in pain,  though she was in tears, she laid down there, for she was taught to be dutiful by her parents and she had to follow that respectful paths  for  her parents.

       The next day,  when she woke up,  she found a man lying next to her and herself naked in front of him. Seeing herself like this, she grabbed all her clothes and went directly to the washroom to take a shower.

       She held the sound of her cries for a long but she couldn't hold her eyes. She opened turned the shower and tried to wash away all the disgusting scents from her body. She rubbed it hard, harder and harder but the smell didn't tend to fade away. Then, she saw some hard object and started rubbing with it. The scent faded away and so did her skin.

      When she came out of the bathroom, her husband was still having a good sleep. She left him as he was and went to do her chores. There were numerous rituals after the marriage and she simply went along with them.

      At night,  again she thought she had to go through the same ritual like of the previous night every night. But, that night changed her view of her husband, that night.

      He wanted the same thing like of the previous day, but when he opened her clothes and saw that her beautiful soft skin were  covered with unhealed wounds, which she had made that morning. He was speechless.

      "How this happen?"

      She didn't speak anything and just stood there and slowly her eyes were filled with tears and they  started landing at great speed on the floor. He on the other side didn't really know what was wrong.

      "I am ready, to fulfill my duties "was what she said,pulling her clothes down.

       "So,  you were doing your duty?  but I loved you."

     He looked with confusing eyes to her and after some minutes he lifted up her clothes and covered up her body and said,

      "I am a soldier and  every day I protect each and every citizen of a country. I am a real coward and a bastard if I don't protect my own wife's sentiments. I will only touch you, when you are ready and when you love me too. I don't want my love to be without,  emotions, without any feelings of respect and love. "

       Then, bent his back and grabbed the pillows and went to sleep on the couch.

      She sighed and breathed the long  and went back to bed without any words and any sounds and laid there without turning her face to him.

       But,  she realized he was a nice person. And for next, one month they stayed same like that but her feelings started to change for him. She started to feel safe and friendly to him, started to talk little  by little to him and also, she started facing him while sleeping but never invited to let him sleep next to her.

      And within that month,  the notice came to his house. The declaration of war, called him back to the battlefield, to fight proudly and bravely. As a proud soldier he took that challenge and started to pack for his return.She stood there silently,  and when he was about to leave he kissed hard on her forehead and held her hands tight and kisses her hands  but didn't dropsy single tears and without looking back once, he walked faster towards the war leaving her behind. She gazed him from far behind and stood there, emotionless.

      The war went fierce and fierce, everyday.Hundreds of soldiers died and hundreds were not found. During that time,  she was pregnant,  and after two months of her pregnancy,  someone knocked at her door.

       The troops of soldiers.This time she expected him to be back and her feelings were changed for him but her world was going to change, soon.

       The troops salute and fired the gun in front of her and placed a  big boxes, in front of her.

      "These are his whereabouts. We cannot find his dead body as lots of dead bodies were difficult to identify. "

      This made her lose her senses and she stopped seeing everything in front of her. He mind went blank and her eyes stationary and her body numb that she couldn't hold her body and laid unconscious before them.

      She could hear his comrades,  saying he has fulfilled his duty and he has accomplished country's dreams. That day,  she asked to herself, "Is this is what soldiers Dream? "
