CHAPTER 08

MASTER ADRIAN'S POV:-

I was pulled out of that nightmare when someone shook me. I looked around and found everyone hiding behind the furniture. Master of the Redford territory, Vincent Redford was standing in front of me, ready to fight. "What happened?" I asked in a confused tone. I just did not understand what was happening. First, I was sitting with Master Redford, discussing some matters with him. Then I saw that girl in the house of the doctor of my territory. And then it felt like I just woke up from a nightmare.

"We were talking about the borders and the trouble we both are facing because of those witches. Suddenly, your eyes went pitch black and you started screaming at first. You were about to attack us when I shook you hard enough to make you wake up. It was like you were stuck into a nightmare. Are you okay, my friend?" Vincent asked me and I looked around. I sighed and nodded my head.

"I guess it was a nightmare. I have never seen her in my life before. I don't know what is happening to me? My head feels like it has been hit by rocks and as I am not an immortal, who can handle rocks." I replied while massaging my temples. 

"Aiden, go and bring a mortal server. Master Adrian needs to feed." Vincent Redford ordered his son and he bowed his head. He went away and Vincent asked all his vampires to leave him alone with me. All vampires bowed their heads and stepped out of the meeting hall. Aiden soon brought a woman. She was a mortal. I could hear her pulsing blood. She sat beside me and gave me her hand.

My fangs grew bigger and I grabbed her wrist. I dug my fangs into her wrist and then drank her blood. Gulp after gulp, I kept drinking for five minutes. Then I let her go as I did not want her to be dead. Aiden took her away and Vincent patted my shoulder. I looked up at him and forced a small smile on my face. "I am sorry, my friend. I apologise for bothering you like this. I just never faced anything like this ever before." I apologized to my friend and he patted my shoulder again but this time with a knowing smile.

"That's alright my friend. It happens sometimes. You don't need to apologise to me. We are friends. I can understand." He replied and I nodded my head. Just as I started to feel better, I heard a loud scream. I stood up and looked around.

"Did you hear that, Vincent?" I asked him while looking at the wall in front of me. For the world, there was a wall. But for me, I could see the sky with black clouds all over. Even with the shining Moon in the sky, the night was dark and scary.

"Hear what, my friend? I did not hear anything?" He asked me back in a confused tone. "Adrian, you should go back and rest. You don't look fine to me. My friend, we can discuss this all later." Vincent added in a worried tone but I did not listen to him.

I shut my eyes and focused. I heard that scream again and I opened my eyes again. As if everything around me vanished and the only thing I could hear was that screams. Painful screams that made me shiver.

Without thinking for a moment, I started following those screams. It took me a few minutes and I was standing in front of the doctor's house inside my territory. I was no longer in Redford's territory. I opened the door and stepped inside.

Without wasting any more time, I went straight to the room where I had seen her in my nightmare. I opened the door and found all the doctors trying hard to cure someone. As they all caught my scent, they stepped away from the bed and knelt down on the ground with their heads down in respect for their Master. I went closer to the bed and saw the same angelic face that I had seen in my nightmare.

"Who is she? What is wrong with her? Why is she here? Who brought her here?" I asked all these questions to the doctors while staring at her stunning face. I waited for them to answer my questions. But none of them said a single word. I turned to look at them. They were shivering in fear. "I asked you some questions. Answer me, who is she?" I roared at them and one of them stood up.

"Master Ryan sent her here. He said she was bought to be your slave by the Daemonium brothers. I told him that she is an impure and he ordered me to take her away. We just know that Master Hayden beat her. She is in pain and we can not do anything to ease her pain." Doctor Denis, the head of all doctors replied in a shaky voice. She moaned in pain and I went to her. Her face was bruised and so her arms. I could see that the bone of her leg was broken in two.

"What can you do to save her?" I asked him and he narrowed his head in disappointment. Breathing heavily, I grabbed her leg with both of my hands. In a blink of an eye, I pressed her bone with both of my hands. She cried in pain loudly as I set her bone onto its place.

"Get out of the room." I ordered them all and they obliged without any hesitation. They stepped out of the room and I got rid of my coat. I sat on the edge of the bed she was lying on and brought my wrist close to my mouth. My fangs grew bigger and I bit my wrist. My fangs dug a hole into my wrist. Blood pooled out of the fresh wound I had made.

I separated her lips with the help of my fingers and let my blood fill her mouth. Soon my wound healed as I was an immortal. But there was enough blood inside her mouth to heal her wounds fully and make her pain go away. She gulped in the blood that was in her mouth. The wrinkles on her face due to the pain disappeared but her wounds were as they were before she drank my blood.

I called doctor Denis inside and asked him to check her. He checked her fully then turned towards me. "Why is she not healed fully? I gave her my blood." I asked him and he shook his head.

"My Lord, she is something else. I can not put my finger, which of the creatures she is except for a baby vamp. She is a hybrid but what are her other powers, I need to do some research to find out. Or maybe an enchantress would help you find out." He replied and I just nodded my head slowly.

"So my blood did not do anything for her?" I ask him in confusion. He shook his head with a smile.

"No my Master, your blood made her pain go away. Her serious wounds are not healed but a few of them are fully healed. We can take care of the rest. It would be like treating a mortal." He replied and I nodded my head. In a few minutes, they cleaned her wounds and applied ointments on her wounds. Then they bandaged her and plastered her leg that was broken.

"It will take a bit of time but she will be fine now." He said and I signalled them to back away.

"You will have to come to my palace to treat her everyday. I can set your room if you want to stay. But I am taking her away." I informed him and he bowed his head.

"As you wish, my Master. I will be at your palace every evening after dusk." He replied. I carefully lifted her up and carried her bridal style. I smiled as she quickly snuggled closer to my chest. I nodded to the doctor and in a blink of an eye, I was out of the doctor's house.
