Chapter 09

EVE'S POV:-

"What right path? What do you mean, master?" I asked him with a frown on my face. 

"I mean that I found my mate. And her name is Eve Daemonium." He replied with a smile on his face. My eyes almost popped out of its sockets as he told me the reason behind his care. He pinched my chin again lightly and shut my mouth. All the time he had a beautiful smile on his face that I had never seen ever before.

"Now close your eyes. I want you to heal as soon as possible. So I can know you more." He said and I just slowly nodded my head. He laid beside me and wrapped an arm around my waist. He pulled me closer to him and I inhaled his masculine scent deeply. Something tickled inside my stomach as his scent reached my lungs. I closed my eyes and fell asleep faster than ever.

I opened my eyes again as I felt an urge to pee. Again, I was able to sit up on the bed easily. But I could not move my leg at all. It hurt a lot every time I tried to move it. But at the same time, I knew I was on Master Adrian's bed. I did not want his bed to get dirty because of me. I did not know what to do. 

I started crying as it was getting impossible for me to control. The door of Master's bedroom opened and in a blink of an eye, Master Adrian was sitting beside me. He grabbed my hand and pecked my knuckles. "Why are you crying? Tell me, what is wrong?" He asked me in a worried tone. My cheeks burned and I narrowed my eyes. I was not able to say a single word. 

"You know, you can tell me everything, Eve. I am your mate." He said and rubbed my back, lightly. I nodded my head slowly, signalling him to lean closer as master Adrian was tall. He did not say anything but leaned over.

"I need to pee." I whispered shyly in a low tone and broke into tears. Hearing me, he chuckled and carefully pulled me into his arms. He carried me bridal style and took me to the bathroom. He pulled my panties down before he made me sit on the commode. I shivered as it was the very first time anyone would have touched my panties.

"Get over with it, Eve." He leaned over my ear and whispered softly. But did not do anything. I just could not. He was still into the bathroom. How could I pee in his presence? 

"I can't do that with you inside the bathroom." I whispered back and he chuckled. He stood up. I sighed in relief because he was about to leave. But instead, he leaned over and pinched my chin lightly. He pulled my chin a little up until his lips touched mine. He kissed me and my brain fully shut down. My senses were lost. I felt my heart beating so fast inside my rib cage that it felt like it would jump out of my chest. And my soul felt like it was out of my body.

I lost myself in the kiss that I forgot to control anymore. I did not even realize when but I was done peeing. He broke the kiss with a smirk on his face and stood straight. "I will be waiting for you outside. When you are done, call me. Don't try to move a muscle. Are we understood?" He asked me with that same smirk on his face. With my mouth agape, I nodded my head and he stepped out of the bathroom.

I cleaned myself up and tried to pull my panties up again. But it was difficult with a broken leg. I washed my hands while on the commode. Once I was done, I called Master Adrian. He stepped into the bathroom and carried me again. His eyes were locked with mine and he pulled my panties up. He did not look down at all. 

He took me back to the silky bed. He made me sit on the bed and covered my legs with the comforter. He then sat beside me and held a bowl of hot soup in his hands. He filled the spoon with hot soup and blew it a few times. "I ordered the doctor to prepare this soup for you. So you will eat it and get better soon. I want to see you running around like you should. Not lying into this bed all day." He said as he held the spoon in front of my mouth. I opened my mouth and took the bite.

I moaned softly as I tasted the most delicious thing I had ever eaten. He cleared his throat loudly and I looked at him. "Don't moan. Why are you moaning anyway? It's not like you are eating roasted chicken or turkey." He asked and slowly shook my head.

"I have never eaten anything warm in my life. I was only allowed to eat the leftovers of my family. Sometimes, they leave me somethings. But most of the time, I slept empty stomach. It's the very first time I am eating something fresh and warm." I replied in a low tone. I did not know why but I wanted to tell him that. I wanted to share my pains with him. I still had not felt anything like he told me that I was his mate. But still, the care he showed to me, it was more than anything I had ever experienced.

"They never let you eat with them? But why? You are their blood. You are part of that family." He asked me and I just narrowed my eyes. 

"They said that I was a curse. That everything I see or touch, dies because I am a sinister. They never even told me why they hated me this much. But I accepted that they hate me more than they hate the devil." I replied and he shook his head. He set the bowl on the bedside table and wrapped his arms around me. He pulled me to his chest and I also dared to wrap my arms around his waist.

At first, I was so scared, how he would react. But he did not say anything. He did nothing. He did not even push me away. He just tightened his hold around me. It was the first time I was experiencing the warmth of the hug. And to be honest, I did not want that to end. It felt so good and it felt so right.
