CHAPTER 10

I was sitting on the bed, getting bored. Master did not let me move an inch. Whatever I needed, I got it on the bed. Everyone was ordered to take care of my needs. Master strictly ordered everyone to take care of me. But most of the time, master Adrian was around and did not even let me sit up with no reason. I was hell bored sitting all day on a bed, just in a day.
Master Adrian stepped into the room and locked the door. I sighed in annoyance as I knew I would be lying again. And I knew he would ask me to rest. I was tired of all the sleeping and resting. "What's wrong, love? Why are you sighing like this?" He asked me as he got rid of the coat he was wearing.
"Nothing." I replied and shook my head. He chuckled and went into the closet. I did not have enough courage to tell him straight that I did not want to sleep. At least not that early. He stepped out of the closet and I looked up. My cheeks burned as I looked at him. He was wearing his PJs only. I quickly narrowed my eyes as my heart started drumming inside my rib cage. I heard him chuckling again as I heard him coming towards the bed.
I gulped hard and looked up. He hopped on to the bed and slowly crawled towards me. He hovered over me and I laid down on the bed. He carefully laid on top of me and hugged me. I squirmed under him as he held me. His face was buried in the crock of my neck. "Eve, breath. I did not do everything to lose you like this." He whispered in my ear and I inhaled sharply. While admiring his beauty up closely and enjoying his warmth, I even forgot to breathe.
As his intoxicating scent reached my lungs, I moaned softly and tried so hard not to touch his bare skin, but I could not help it. He sat on the bed, beside me. Then he helped me sit up. "I know, you want to touch it. Don't fight it. You can touch." He said and I looked up into his eyes.
He pulled me onto his lap and grabbed my hand. He took my hand close to his bicep and breath hitched. As my fingers touched his bicep, I felt a spark. Something like an electric shock that started from the tips of my fingers and ended up in the pit of my stomach. He laughed out loud as I snatched my hand away. He grabbed my face a bit aggressively but only pepper dozens of kisses on my face.
"You are the cutest little thing I have ever seen in my life. How can you be this cute?" He asked me and I chewed my nails due to the nervousness I was feeling. He pecked the top of my nose and set me down on the bed again. He laid down first then he made me lie close to him. His arms were wrapped around me. I did not look at him. I knew my face would be as red as tomato.
"I know you are tired of sleeping and resting this much. I promise I will take you out and we will have fun for a while tomorrow, but you have to sleep now." He whispered into my ear and I pouted. "Come on, it's not that bad." He added and I sighed. I just nodded my head and closed my eyes. It took me a while but I eventually fell asleep.
I opened my eyes again and found Master Adrian looking at me. "Why did you wake up? Are you not sleepy?" He asked me in a honey sweet tone. Then he pecked my forehead. I was enjoying this treatment he was giving me. It felt like I was a princess and he was my prince. That he would do everything for me. But still I did not know how to communicate with him. It had not even been twenty four hours for me to be with him. And till then I had prayed to God not to cross paths with him. And there I was, cuddling with him like a couple.
"First of all, you need to break all these walls you have built between us. I know, it is too early for you to accept me just like that. I know I have to do a lot of hard work to earn your trust. But I can't do that until you open up with me." He said and I looked at him.
"I'm sorry, Master. I don't know how to do it." I replied and he sighed. He scratched his chin while thinking something.
"For starters, you should not call me Master out of this room. Deal?" He asked me and I just stared at him blankly.
"What will I call you then?" I asked in confusion.
"Adrian, you will call me Adrian out of this room. And you will feel free to tell me everything you feel." He replied and I nodded my head.
"Okay, Adri.. I mean, Master." I replied and he smiled. He pecked my forehead again. I rested my head on his chest.
"So tell me, why are you up so early? It's still not dusk." He asked me again.
"I am tired of sleeping. I don't want to sleep anymore." I replied and he chuckled again. I looked up at him with dreamy eyes.
"What is it? Why are you looking at me like a baby looks at the Moon?" He asked me and I smiled.
"You have the most beautiful smile. It is more beautiful than the sky. Your laugh is even more stunning." I replied and he chuckled.
"Are you trying to impress me? If you are, then it's great. Because it's working." He said and I shook my head.
"No, your laugh is the most beautiful thing I have ever seen." I replied honestly again. He tightened his hold around me and pecked the top of my head.
"If you like it this much, I will keep smiling around you forever. How does that sound to you?" He asked me and I smiled cheekily.
"I will love that." I replied and he laughed loudly again. We did not talk about anything after that. We just laid together. I was enjoying cuddling with him.

EVE'S POV:-I was standing on the balcony of Master Adrian's bedroom. He was still in bed. He did not wake up but I wanted to see the sun set. As I was not a vampire, I was able to see the sun. I always liked to sit into the sunlight and enjoy the warmth it offers to every single living being in this world. To be honest, I have ever prayed not to become a vampire. For me, the sun and its warmth was like a gift. Something I had never gotten into my life.I once had heard that a mother's arms were like the warmth of the sun. And the light of the sun belongs to a father. They lighten up the world of their children so they can grow bigger and stay healthy. For me, I did not have a mother who would protect me from cold and did not even have a father who would lighten up my world. But thank God that he had created the sun for people like me. For me, the sun was both my father and my mother.
