Chapter 6: The Clash

2020-08-20 18:50:25A Ferrari, 2019 model was parked in front of Harry Group of company (HGC) with a lot of workers going to and fro, attending to different issues in the company.
A young handsome man who is in his mid twenties hopped out from the car with his personal guard as they walk into the company together.
He had on a white dress shirt, solid tie and a navy suit, with a brown monk strap shoes. His appearance is really classic and down to earth.
Almost all the ladies in the company were gushing over his handsomeness immediately he steps in. They were all greeting him with a flirty smile on their faces. But, he never paid attention to any of them.
When Desmond got to his office, he called his secretary to report to his office immediately and hanged up. He was checking out some documents on his desk when a gorgeous lady comes in without knocking.
"I told you to always knock before coming into my office, didn't i?" Desmond asked with a frown as he raises his head to stare at her.
"I'm sorry sir" She replied with her head down.
"When are we conducting the interview for the applicants?"
"9am sir"
"It's alright, you can go" Desmond replied and focuses on what he was doing beforehand as she left.
Kathryn came as early as possible and prepared for the interview. She's wearing a white long sleeve, a navy blue pant suit with slacks and a peach close-toed pumps heel.
She has a light natural makeup on, and tied her hair in a bun. Immediately she got to the door and was about to open it, she felt a cold chilling all over her body and couldn't lift her legs up. She could smell a blooded werewolf around.
She turned back to see who is behind her, but was surprised to see a beautiful lady putting on a grey suit and white high heel approaching towards the door also. When their eyes met, Kathryn saw something in her eyes, but the lady quickly looked away and walks over to Kathryn.
"Excuse me please" The lady said with a bewitching smile as she point to the door.
"Oh sorry" Kathryn replied as she pave way for her in bewilderment. They both got in and walk over to the secretary at the same time;
"I'm here for the interview..." They both said in chorus and turned to look at each other with surprise.
The secretary was surprised too as she looked up at them. "You can both join the people over there while we attend to you all very soon" She said while pointing to the people sitting at the entrance of the CEO's office.
They went over to the people and sit besides each other as they wait patiently. Kathryn was glancing at her every minute to confirm what she saw earlier but, she sees nothing at all this time around.
"I'm sure about what i saw earlier. This lady is definitely a werewolf; but it seems she's from a different pack from ours". Kathryn was thinking out loud with a confused expression written on her face.
"I can hear you" The lady said as she turned to Kathryn with a devious smile.
"Excuse me!" Kathryn was surprised
"Never mind" She replied nonchalantly and face the other direction.
Kathryn definitely heard what she said clearly but tried not to think too much about it; In order to focus more on her interview.
When it's 9am sharp, the interview commence and the first applicant went in. In about five minutes or so, he came out with a worried expression and goes out of the company.
In about thirty minutes, four applicants already went in and comes out. Remaining Kathryn and the other lady. The lady was the first to went in after the fourth applicant came out of the interview room.
She saw about five interviewers when she walks in with confidence. They told her to have her sit and begins the interview.
"Miss Hannah Federico right?" An aged man who is in his late forties asked as he goes through the CV in his hand.
"Yes sir"
"A customer left a negative review of our product on a social media site. How do you respond to the customer?" The man asked
"I would take the opportunity as a representative of the brand to address the customer in a respectful and holistic way, assuring them that our brand feels accountable to making the customer happy and discussing how we can best accomplish that in the customer's future interactions with our brand".
The man asks her few questions pertaining the job and she answered with confidence without any slightest mistake. After he was done with her, another interviewer ask her another question.
"So tell us, what is an innovative new marketing strategy that you'd like to implement while in position?"
Hannah sit properly and focuses more on the CEO as she answers the question;
"I would be really excited about the prospect of creating an experiential marketing campaign, where we can activate the brand in the wild, where our customers are. Thank you!"
"Alright Miss Hannah, we will get back to you soon!" Desmond responded with a smile as he stares at her for a minute and take his eyes off her immediately she stood up.
When she stood up and turned to leave, she felt something inside of her but can't explain what is it exactly. She turned to examine everyone in the room at that moment, but couldn't figure out what she came there for. Then she leaves.
On her way out, she met Kathryn going inside of the interview room. Hannah stopped in her tracks and looked at her; "I am very sure we would still cross path frequently. Have a nice day Kathryn..."
"Kathryn!"
She was surprised and dumbstruck; "How did you get to know my name?" Kathryn asked anxiously.
Hannah only smiled at her and heads out of the company without a trace of her.

Kathryn woke up to see herself in the arms of a handsome man who is around his late twenties. He put on a smiling face as he calls her out in a lovingly manner."Miss beautiful!! Hannah and Desmond followed in immediately Kathryn went inside. The two ladies were taken to their offices to resume to work. Their offices is right next to each other because they're going to be working on the same job.When Desmond got to his office, he put a call through to his secretary and inform her that, the two marketers must report to his office as soon as possible. Peter brain stutters for a moment and his eyes take in more light than he expected, every part of him goes on pause while his thoughts catch up.
