Chapter 4:- Our Second Meeting

I was in a daze, I kept on staring at him with my eyes wide. I also didn't realise that I've subconsciously stood up from my chair when I saw him.

He too kept staring at me.

"Doc???", suddenly Yeona's voice came and we both got out of our daze.

"Y-Yeah?? W-What happened Yeona??", I asked Yeona while avoiding any eye contact with the man, who still stood at the same spot.

"Umm well Doc... he's the man who had hurt his hand badly".

"Oh I see! Ok, you can go now and do your work".

Yeona didn't say anything, just quietly left the room. After she was gone, an awkward silence fell in the room. I took a deep breath and said.

"Umm Sir, please take a seat".

The man didn't say anything and took the opposite seat from me. I couldn't really see his face because of the hat and the mask.

"Well, it's not that cold in here, so you can take off your hat and mask", I said while looking at him.

"N-no actually, my metabolism is pretty weak, so I quickly catch cold when directly exposed to outside air".

"Oh I see".

"So, how did you hurt your hand??", I asked, but after that I regretted asking him.

"When I pushed the brakes hard to stop the car from hitting you, I somehow hurt my hand".

"Oh my God!! I'm so sorry. It's all my fault", I said quickly, poor guy because of me his hand got hurt.

"No, no it's ok".

"No, it's not ok, please tell what should I do to apologise".

"You don't have to do anything, seriously it's ok".

"No please tell, or else my mind won't be at ease", I said seriously.

"Ok, then pay my medical bills", he said while staring at me.

I blushed under his stare.

"O-ok, I'll pay your medical bills until you recover", as soon as I said that, the man gave a small laugh.

"I was just kidding, you don't have to pay for my treatment".

"But..."

"No buts. Now can you please treat me, my hand is still paining very badly you know".

I checked his hand.

"I guess you have to do an X-ray of your hand".

"Oh ok"

"Let me take you to the X-ray room", I offered.

The man didn't rebutted me and let me take him. It didn't took much time though, after that we made our way back to my room.

The man sat on the seat quietly while looking at me, as I examined his X-ray.

"So, how's it??", the man suddenly spoke. 

"Well it's not that bad, your left hand have got fractured, so it may take few weeks or most probably one month at most for your hand to recover".

"Oh my, that long", the man asked.

"Yeah, but don't worry I'll write a prescription for you, you've to take your medicines on time and have to visit here once a week for check-up", I said while writing his prescription.

"Ok", the man replied.

"Oh! I forgot to ask, what's your name Sir??".

"Umm...it's Jung Ho-Jun".

I quickly finished writing the prescription and gave it to him.

"You can find these medicines at the hospital's medical store".

"Yeah ok, thank you".

As he got up, his hand hit the photo frame on my table, that had Jungkook's picture in it. I quickly placed the frame in its place but caught Ho-Jun staring at it.

"That's Jeon Jungkook right??", he suddenly asked.

"Yes it's him", I said without any hesitation.

"Oh! So, you are a BTS fan".

"Yes I am", I replied quickly, excitement dripping from my voice.

I couldn't help my excitement when it comes to BTS. 

"And that's your bias I guess".

"YES", I said, while sounding proud.

Ho-Jun didn't say anything, he just kept staring at me, I found myself feeling quite awkward under his stare.

Then I heard a familiar voice coming from the door.

"Well, well whose here, isn't it our great 'Chief Kim' ", he said while giving me a mocking smile.

I rolled my eyes at him, feeling annoyed by his teasing.

"What do you want now Min Min??", I asked with a smrik. 

Minho glared at me and gave me a  'dare to call me that again' look. I didn't bother with his stupid looks.

"Tell me what do you want??", I asked him.

"If you are not BUSY then can you bother coming with me to make the rounds. We're already running late, you know", Minho said with a hmph.

"Oh God, I completely forgot".

"And I'm not at all surprised to hear that", Minho said shrugging his shoulder.

I glared at him, this guy can really get on my nerves sometimes.

I let out a sigh and made my way towards the door to leave, then something struck me.

I turned around and saw Ho-Jun still standing at the same place looking straight at me.

"I'm sorry Ho-Jun, but I've to go now to make the rounds".

"It's ok".

"I'll see you next week then, for your check-up".

"Y-Yeah".

I waved him bye and left.

"Who was that guy just now??", Jungkook thought to himself.

After accidently hitting the frame, when he looked at the picture inside the frame, he didn't even knew what happened but he subconsciously smiled behind his mask. Maybe, it was because she was his fan, that's why.

But as they were talking, he heard a man's voice, the man didn't bother to look at him also, when he came, he was busy chit chatting with Minji.

Jungkook just kept staring at both of them while they were busy teasing and making fun of each other.

"Is he Minji's boyfriend??", suddenly he thought to himself.

Jungkook wanted to ask Minji, but suddenly thought----why the hell is he even bothered with them, it's none of his business.

As he saw Minji quickly leaving with the man to make rounds, he too also wanted to leave and then only Minji turned around and looked at him.

"I'm sorry Ho-Jun, but I've to go now to make the rounds".

"It's ok".

"I'll see you next week then, for your check-up".

"Y-Yeah".

She waved him bye and went off. 

Jungkook gave a small smile and left the room. He brought his medicines from the medical store before making his way towards his car.

"What took you so long??", Namjoon asked when he saw Jungkook coming.

"Well, my left hand is fractured and I stopped to grab the medicines from the store, so it took longer than expected".

"What?? Fractured?? Is it serious?? How long will it take to get better??".

"It's not that serious but it will take nearly one month to recover and I've to come here once a week for check-up before my hand gets better".

"Ok, I'll accompany you on your check-ups".

"Khamsamida hyung", Jungkook said with a smile.

"Ok, now get inside. I'll drop you off to your place".

With that Jungkook got inside the car, he took off his mask when he was inside making sure that no one saw him and they soon drove off. While they were on their way, Jungkook suddenly recalled what happened since the morning till now.

How he was on his way to Bighit when suddenly a girl jumped in front of his car and he broke his hand while trying to save that girl and how that girl turn out to be a doctor who was going to help him treat his hand which got hurt because of her only.

When he thought of all of these which happened to him, he couldn't help but laugh.

"What happened to you?? What's so funny that you are laughing so loudly all of sudden", Namjoon asked curiously.

"Ah, it's nothing".
